Morning!

Very exciting times for you Green! Hope you're feeling good.

F's woken up with a cough and a rattly chest and a temperature. He seems fine in himself (playing IPad games at 6:30) but I might see if the doc can have a look later.

GlaikitFizzog · 15/08/2013 06:59

Oh poor F RU,but ime iPad games is a cure to many illnesses and fixes sore bits almost instantly!

Green, hang fire on the bra measuring, as your rib age will be bigger just now with the upward pressure from baby, you'll end up with a bra that's too big in a few months (sorry if you already know this!)

How exciting for you though. For your bag can I suggest some isotonic drinks for after your cs. You will be nil by mouth before you go down and I found them really great afterwards.

RegainingUnconsciousness · 15/08/2013 12:50

Wowee Green! Congratulations!

Good job you got all the baby bits sorted out the other day! And you'll be ready for those new bras in a few days too!

Good weight, good feed, and good sleeping. Well done you!

TwentiethCenturyGirl · 15/08/2013 14:15

GlaikitFizzog · 15/08/2013 16:15

GreenFirefly · 15/08/2013 18:20

mmm cake. need to keep my strength up for feedingGrin Feel sore but will try to keep up with painkillers to keeping at bay. DH brought M earlier but she was very confused about everything and wouldn't come near me for a hug Sad
hoping for some sleep tonight.

GreenFirefly · 15/08/2013 18:23

yes, Dh can use the washing machine. there's lots to do after my waters went last nightShock. apparently mil has vacuumed the house today, and put washing away. will I find anything ever again?? Confused

RegainingUnconsciousness · 15/08/2013 18:27

Cake Cake Cake Cake Cake Cake

It's your duty to eat cake! If you were near here I'd bring you the cakes I made yesterday - I'm rubbish at cooking and baking but these came our ok!

I'm sure M will come round soon. The whole hospital thing is very intimidating.

I name-tagged a load of Fs clothes this arvo with these little clip on things. They're really good! [saddo] They're sturdier than iron on and go on quicker than iron & sew ons.

I'm sorry. I tried to keep that mundanity to myself but I couldn't. I'm going out tonight for conversation with actual grown ups.

Kittycatcat · 15/08/2013 20:24

Finally caught up.

Whoop green. So happy for you and your gorgeous girl. M will be fine.

Dh and I have this week off and started toilet training s Monday. Monday several pees on the floor. One Tuesday. None yesterday. One today. We've even been out. Went straight to pants and toilet. He prefers to stand! V relieved.

Daisy17 · 16/08/2013 08:11

RU I'm interested! Maybe it's being teachers that makes us obsessive about name labels......What are these clip-on labels of which you speak? Link, please.

Well done, Kitty and S!

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 16/08/2013 08:34

Whoopee! Congratulations on your little girl fire. Welcome to the world little one!

M will be fine when you're home. We had that with ds2 when his Granny was in hospital. She is one of his favourite people ever but he wouldnt go near her, the environment completely freaked him out.

Good luck for next week jolly , i bet it's all seeming rather real Grin

I love your mundanity ubw! I am actually being serious, so I'll join the saddo club with you!

Well done S and kitty. It makes me think I need to try with I again. Maybe next week ........

The boys are staying at my sisters for the weekend, whoop whoop. Dh probably thinks we're going to have a sexathon, I'm thinking of a doing a fuckallathon Grin

It's these.

And no idea ILTMI, but I didn't like to say in case it was just me being a bit dim!

GlaikitFizzog · 16/08/2013 10:46

Can I join I with the mundanity? Is there a clip on the otherside of those clips?i really should label bs things but have never gotten round to it.

RegainingUnconsciousness · 16/08/2013 11:06

Yep, it's like a little button on either side, although the side designed to go next to skin is rounded & smooth.

GlaikitFizzog · 16/08/2013 11:35

Just ordered some!

Daisy17 · 16/08/2013 12:13

Ooh, will try those! More mundanity, then.....am buying a new rucksack to cycle to school with. Normally go quite techy but thought I might go for something bit jollier this time. Dilemma = nice red and blue squares effect, understated OR rather out-there but really rather love it turquoise paisley effect at TWICE the price.......Confused

RegainingUnconsciousness · 16/08/2013 12:18

Turquoise!

We have a rucksack for every occasion. From your tiny superlight camelback to enormous hiking backpack that I could fit in.

We use 2 most of the time.

Daisy17 · 16/08/2013 12:24

(Whispers....) But it's fifty quid! Shock But there again, I've had the other one for over 15 years......

RegainingUnconsciousness · 16/08/2013 12:30

£50! Does it do tricks too?!
