That's exactly what happened to me once, 20th - small glass bottle of cooking cider at the age of about 33. Madness!! But feels marvellous, doesn't it?

Having been sick four times this afternoon and evening I am concluding that I have DS's sick bug. At least, let us hope that is all it is otherwise I am in big trouble for the next six weeks.......I presume little beanlet will be alright in there?!

Oh no Daisy. I'm sure Beanlet will be fine.

On the plus side, if it's a bug it'll most likely be over by tomorrow! Take the rest of the week off and try to relax and recover fully. None of that struggling back before you're ready to keep up appearances.

Yes, sick bug, thanks DS....over now, although annoying that recovering means returning to "normal" levels of nausea!! Should have had first visit to GP yesterday about pregnancy, she phoned instead which was great. She very reassuringly but baldly stated that I needn't worry about the baby, it would keep taking what it needed and just leave me feeling worse. Nice! Midwife booked for 24 October. Beginning to feel scarily real!

Yep, hooray! Had initially planned to go to 38 weeks but just really CAN'T BE ARSED at the moment so have agreed with manager I can stop at 36. 2 more weeks after this week (plus I'm taking Wednesdays as leave to help me cope with the weeks, so only 9 more working days inc tomorrow. Hooray!) Looking forward to a few weeks of LOAFING. Hope the baby isn't early

Ah, good, glad it's you! Think it's only us knocking around here still. All good, second dating scan on Wed when baby will hopefully be long enough to do the nuchal scan properly. Glad I'm getting to see it again as I'm still not at all convinced I'm pregnant and not just ill! Having fun getting S's big boy room ready and furnished, although he had a massive strip earlier because I wouldn't get the painter back to paint the ceiling blue as well as the walls.......

DH is still adamant he doesn't want #2. I don't know whether to give up hope that he'll change his mind and get on with life, or keep hoping he'll change his mind. Well, I know which of those I am doing, and which I should!

Sorry to hear that, must be very difficult. I can see both points of view, even now I'm going for it!! Wake up in a panic quite oftenthinking WTAF have I done...... Nice seeing it today though, measurement was well within normal (S's wasn't and gave us a scare) and it did some loop the loops for me. Feeling better now too which is helping at school!

Th Screamer is a lot better at the moment! He was pretty horrendous at the beginning of half term, but we implemented some new rewards and went zero tolerance on the screaming (he goes to his room if he starts on the clearly manipulative route) and he's improved no end. When he's good, he's absolutely adorable! Which is fortunately more common currently.

Hello! I'm still here too :)

Unfortunately we still have an intermittent screamer too. Things have definitely improved but it's still a case of when she's good, she's very good and when she's bad, she's horrid. She had a 40 minute melt down after I collected her from school this afternoon, from which we're all still recovering.

Glad that the scan went well Daisy :) I can't believe that I'm jealous of pregnant women but I am - I'd love to have number 3. It's not going to happen for a whole host of reasons (money, work, lifestyle, house size, blah blah blah) but heck, I'm broody... and the baby is still so wee too. I don't know what's come over me. It took me at least a year to even contemplate have another one after DD1 was born!

Talking of babies, I wonder if ecuse has had number two yet. I think she decreed it would have be born by now!
