Sad for your CM Fizz, hope they've caught it early.

Kitty, I misread your post as "I just did a poo in the bath!"
Thought you were going to say you'd come down with a dodgy stomach bug, glad to see it was just A letting nature take it's course.

Fizz very :( for your CM, how awful.

What are all these boxes you are sending each other - I don't have ani-anything so can't see them!

And what is BOB, it sounds interesting???

All is well here, 31 weeks today and 5 weeks left to work :)

How are you doing Fizz? What a horribly tough week for everyone concerned.

Ds3 has a new word. 'What?'
Aaaaaaaaaaggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh
I give him the raised eyebrow look and he quickly says 'pardon mummy', but goodness me why can't he just say that first time? He's playing mind games isn't he? Grin

In contrast to that, his new waking first words are 'I love you mummy', aaawwwwwwwww.

Ds2's school uniform arrived today (M&S had 20% off). It is still sitting on the stairs unopened He had his first settling in afternoon at the school last week. He had a great time ............. I cried on the walk home after dropping him off.

Hey! Thanks for asking guys, I'm ok, although I'm now worried about dh. He has been passed over for promotion again and I've never seen him so defeatist. I don't know what to say to him. Sorry this is all "woe is me" but I'm really struggling to hold it all together just now.

I mentioned about going to the docs last week before, but I don't think I've mentioned it here. I think I might be going a bit insane around af time. And it's totally irrational. Doc says its pmt combined with the pressure of not using contraception, even though I tried saying we were ttc casually. She seems to think I have been put under pressure by dh to have another, which totally isn't the case. 3 weeks out of four I want another, one week I can barely function and the thought of another scares the shit out of me. She gave me the pill as a cure all, fix the pmt, stop her getting pg sticking plaster because the only other treatment for pmt is fluoxetine, and I'm already on that. So the only way to fix me is contraception, which I'm scared to take after the mess the depo made of my body and my ability to conceive and i swore never to use hormonal contraception again. Win win eh? I feel like I've been on the verge of tears all week. I feel lost again.

Sorry that post was totally self indulgent. I forgot to take my ads with me over the weekend and that's what happens when I don't take them. They don't call them happy pills for nothing.

As you were :)

This is the place for self indulgent, let it all out!

Oh Fizz - I'm not surprised you're feeling down. What a shit time you're having of it Hmm I'm useless at providing any practical advice but am more than happy to be an ear to listen whenever you need to let off steam. Have a big unmumsnetty group hug from all the Aprilites.

Would help if it hadnt hidden my previous post! I said fizz I'm sorry you are feeling like this. His about increasing the dose on anti ds? Not sure I'd go back on the pill in your situation as you'd be starting all over. Sorry for your dh too Hmm
Hugs

Oh god, just popped on and have reread my post from last night - that was clearly meant to be a :( - not a Hmm. I need to stop posting on my phone. My fingers are clearly too fat!

Sorry Fizz - hope you didn't think I was being an insensitive cow :( and that today has been a good day

Hey Fizz - agree no to pill, it prob won't help right now. Upping dose of ADs is a good idea.
Rant here, that's what we're here for :)

DD being a bit of a PITA re the bed now - opening her door and coming out far too early in the morning for here - we're already up with DS2 normally but still. She's knackered.

I did the same with my sausage fingers twentieth. How are you today fizz?

Report
GlaikitFizzog · 04/07/2013 13:16

Hey! No worries about the Hmm face, I knew what you meant! I'm ok. Done some research on the pill I've been prescribed, and even though I was on it in my early 20s I'm now not so keen. I keep flipping between taking it and not taking it!

I've been busy sorting out child care for the next few weeks as cm has the date for her op. she is only taking a week off after the op (its on her tongue, had I mentioned that?) however it coincides with me being in London with my choir and dh being unable to take time from work, so we are shipping the child off to my parents for a week! :) and my friend is going to help out if we need anything extra after that! I'm not complaining, she needs to take care of herself, but timing wise for us it isn't great, iykwim.

Gotto go, my manager is in the stocks awaiting a barrage of wet sponges :o all for charity, no malice intended at all, no sirree! Wink

On the subject of days out, we went to Thomas Land at Drayton Manor on Saturday and it was absolutely fabulous. I would thoroughly recommend it for any of you with Thomas loving toddlers :)

Where is Drayton manor? Sounds far away from where you are jolly!

Report
JollyShortGiant · 08/07/2013 17:56

Heh, well spotted Fizz. We've just come back from a week in a cottage in the Cotswolds. We drove down and on the way back we spent the day at Drayton Manor which is on the NE side of Birmingham. We left there at 8:45am and were home before 5. So a long drive but it worked out well as an overnight stop on the way home.

How are you all anyway? :)
