Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
TheDetective · 13/05/2013 20:22

It was! If we just ignore the 3 hours ironing Hmm.

BigPigLittlePig · 13/05/2013 20:23

Yep, F has the quiche wisdom to thank for her many exotic freezer-dwelling purees.

Det I think the regression has fucked the fuck off here too.

Up since 3.30, sweet potato dinner, then milk, then roll around the carpet, bath, story (which she tried to eat, naturally), milk and asleep since 7.20 Shock This is UNHEARD OF in the pig household. Watch it all crumble at 3am haha better not do

PRs been a bit quiet today. Maybe she's busy off having a life?! [wishful emoticon] [not at all jealous emoticon]

Passmethecrisps · 13/05/2013 20:25

So has VQ. Hope all the quiet peeps are ok and just havig shit loads of fun.

ChasingDaisy · 13/05/2013 20:36

VQ has been quiet since being poorly. Hope you're ok Thanks

And yes PR where are you?

Got my dad and stepmum coming over to see O tomorrow. Hoping he doesn't scream at them the whole time they are here Confused

TheDetective · 13/05/2013 20:41

It's nearly sweary wednesday Grin.

They'll be back Wink.

Passmethecrisps · 13/05/2013 20:45

Oh yas!

Hmm. How is this going to work? P has discovered she wants to sleep
On her front. But being on her front makes sooking a dummy quite difficult. I can only see this going one way and it is not a happy way. For me that is.

BigPigLittlePig · 13/05/2013 20:51

Maybe sleeping that way will wedge the dummy in, pass? Or am I clutching at straws again?

Passmethecrisps · 13/05/2013 21:00

Oh maybe Bp! I just tried to sort her out and tipped her head to the side to allow space. Hopefully she stays this way for a while

ChasingDaisy · 13/05/2013 21:02

I agree. Less chance of dummy falling out I reckon Wink

Think I have mentioned before that I live in a one bed flat. I love where I live - Jacobean style grade 2 listed building, no less. But obviously the one bedroom part is a bit inconvenient. Just found a two bed cottage for rent on the same estate that is available the day after my tenancy ends! Perfect beyond words. My dream place. Just need an extra £200 a month and I'll be set Sad

GTbaby · 13/05/2013 21:05

BPLP- if I waited 6 months to clear out my post pregnancy hair loss from the shower drain we would have been flooded months ago.

ValiumQueen · 13/05/2013 21:09

Still feeling rough here, and very very tearful. May be another period on its way, may be as I feel fluey, may be because I am going back to work in two fucking months. I will hopefully be taking leave to extend it to three, but I feel so very incapable. At everything.

What do you do with a baby who just blows raspberries when you try to feed him? Just my luck if I have a BLW baby. He has been pretty opposite to the girls in every way so far so I guess it is possible. Some days he will hoover the purée off the spoon, but today and yesterday it was raspberries again.

bp wait until the weetabix comes out the other end. You think it is on rock solid now.....

DD2 is in knickers. She is awesome. Ok, she is in night nappy now as she is asleep and I am not THAT stupid, but during the day she is clean and dry. She insisted on wearing just the knickers today, and was walking around giving herself a wedgie and periodically waving her bum in Js face.

Happy half birthday Penelope x sorry I forgot yesterday.

BigPigLittlePig · 13/05/2013 21:16

VQ my dad did say that the weetabix poo would be like S to a B. I asked what the hell he was on about. S to a B = shit to a blanket. Nice.

GT Grin

Chasing care to share your property porn?

TheDetective · 13/05/2013 21:26

:( VQ

You've just reminded me. I had to POAS. Period is now 5 days fucking late. Did it on sunday. Negative thank fuck.

But hellooooo, period? Where the fuck are you? Hmm

I feel completely useless 24/7. I'm still in the fog it feels.

horseylady · 13/05/2013 21:31

vq I blow raspberries back. Or just stop till the buggers got it out his system. We have raspberries ALL day long. Milk feeds, and spoon feeds. Not so much feeding himself, but today is the first day he's picked something up and purposefully swallowed a chunk. I gave up with tea in the end. It was just take a mouthful, blow raspberries with a mouthfull of food. On days like this, I just don't worry too much. Brill for your dd though. Oh today blowing raspberries on mummy was the funniest thing ever.

Have you seem a gp? Have you had your bloods taken? Hugs xx

Sophiathesnowfairy · 13/05/2013 21:38

Ahhhh bplp shower plug. I know. Our shower was becoming like a foot bath. I cleaned out the plug last week.

I get all the great jobs. Hmm

I have hung a great big grey fleece blanket over the curtain rail in O's room. Here's hoping I can at least get myself up and ready for the day before he starting his chatting to the baby in the wardrobe mirror.

DH deposited at Heathrow Sad

Dixiebell · 13/05/2013 21:46

DH staying in London for work tonight, and Les Miserables on Sky Box Office. Perfect! Just time to fit it in before bed/ dream feed at 10.30. So what happens? Teddy wakes with the most almighty screams at 9.30 of course. Feeding him now, Les Mis on pause downstairs. Gotta watch it tonight as it self-destructed after 24 hours and no chance of finishing it before 8 tomorrow evening. I'm going to be up all night watching it aren't I?! Hmm

horseylady · 13/05/2013 21:56

Oh no dixie

gt I forgot to reply to your question. I'm fine thanks, after the brick wall collision. The horse is ok(ish). She's out competing but currently under the vet. At a vast expense. In fact I'm going to end up arguing with them tomorrow. Oh well. They're used to me by now.

Fil round earlier. I said to dh that you just can't help those who don't want to get better. I know that's harsh but a lot if recovery from stuff like this has to come from the person. We can help but ultimately can't make him better. Or reduce his tax bill. I'm not sure which is causing him the most bother.

Anyway, I'm thankful the sunwas shining and I got to ride my horse. Always makes me happy :)

Kyzordz · 13/05/2013 21:57

Hi all, probably only got time to reply to stuff on the last page cos I'm supposed to do the df soon ie get covered in vom

Sounds like a lovely day det!

Sorry you feel so crap vq hope you feel better soon. No idea what to do with raspberry blowing :( was hoping you'd have advice on how to tempt lo with purée lol, you seem to know your stuffs with the weaning. Hopefully it's just a phase? :) well done to dd2!

Hope you have a nice day tomorrow chasing

Taking e back to the doctors tomorrow. So much going on. Coughing until vomiting, temperature that does go with calpol and isn't always there, drinking less than half and seriously reluctant to even drink that/vomiting some too, runny nose, not much in the way of wet nappies, far less wet than usual and not as many, urine smells stronger too. I had put down the less wet nappies and smell to the fact he isn't drinking half as much as usual but I don't know. Smelly farts and paint like poo. He has been like it since last Tuesday so it'll have been a week. I'm not being ott am I?

He has been drinking water too but nothing much. About 2oz today.

He's so reluctant to eat he'll even wake from df to tell me to piss off. If I don't give it though he's kept down about 12oz today. He usually has about 36-40 plus bits and bobs of solids that can't count for much but still.

Hope you all have good nights, sorry I've not been about much

BigPigLittlePig · 13/05/2013 22:03

Kyz not being OTT at all, he should be well on the way to getting over a virus by now. Best to get him checked out properly in case he needs antibiotics for chest/wee/ear infection. Poor little man though, he doesn't sound like a happy chappy at all.

Horsey glad you got out in the sunshine

Dixie bloody typical, eh!?

Well done to valium princess, clever girl.

MissMummy1 · 13/05/2013 22:08

Poor e kyz

Yay for some good days! And sorry that you arent feeling well vq

Well my period has finished but I still feel sick, Mainly after eating Confused Couldnt get through to make an appointment today on the phone so will go in person tomorrow Angry

And our fucking boiler has blown up Shock . I have been saying for months it isnt working properly Angry

Think I mentioned after looking at houses here we are contemplating a move iverto NI. DP can commute and my business is just about at the stage where I can manage from a distance and employ someone in Scotland. The difference in property prices is astonishing!!! I have found a gorgeous 5 bed fixer-upper town house on the sea front worryingly cheap v affordable (inc a decent chunk to renovate!!)

MissMummy1 · 13/05/2013 22:10

Oh meant to say how bloody scary stunt. M had a reaction to one of her creams and that was terrifying.

Chasing could the end of your tenancy be an opportunity to leave the bastard??

TheDetective · 13/05/2013 22:15

MM I felt sick and nauseous for a couple of weeks. About a month ago. Was quite odd. DP was the same though.

Stunt how terrifying. I worry a lot about this with O having issues :( I would totally panic even though I know what to do. It's only natural to panic with your own. How's he now?

Dixiebell · 13/05/2013 22:34

Sod it, bed more important. Will buy bloody Les Mis again tomorrow and watch the second half. Hmph.

Evilwater · 13/05/2013 22:37

Evil

Sophiathesnowfairy · 13/05/2013 22:41
