Welcome back jing How's things?

Hope work is ok madam

horsey How are you this morning?

Bryzoan · 13/05/2013 07:19

Really good luck madam. Hope all goes well (and the conjunctivitis buggers off soon - bastard thing).

Yes. She was on the wall still when we got back. I got such a bollocking Smile

KatieLily12 · 13/05/2013 07:21

Morning all

(Slumps face down on table)

TheDetective · 13/05/2013 07:26

Moses basket proving better than cot for transfers thank fuck. He went back down ok after his 6am feed. Frickin' DS1 woke him up fanning around looking for the hairdryer though. Hmm

Sophia it wasn't too bad actually Grin! I was just absolutely petfrified it would collapse around me!

horseylady · 13/05/2013 07:36

Thanks guys!

The work doesn't ESP bother me too much. It's the house/horse/dogs/dh which do. And the money. And the fil situation. We just have no time.

I'm ok. It's just getting to me. I just feel like I do everything to help people and its just not returned.

It'll be ok though. Yesterday I just was a bit fed up..

Pikz · 13/05/2013 07:58

Bry I love the fact he's called crying and very funny about your sister.

Horsey big hugs. Thanks

Madam good luck at workBrew

Det glad you got more sleep

J well done on giving mummy VQ some sleep

fruitpastilles · 13/05/2013 08:27

Hugs horsey Thanks

We actually had an ok night last night, S woke earlier on than usual for about an hour but then slept until 5:30.

She is 6 months today, where has that time gone? It has flown by!

Evilwater · 13/05/2013 08:41

Well what a night, baby evil was up for around 3 hours. Not a clue why, just up, Thankfully I was slept through most of it.
The lunch with the family went awesome, N was on his best behaviour and P was too Grin my mum made as arse out of her self, she was just so bossy. Confused

Right to read back o n the thread.

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 13/05/2013 08:45

Thanks all. First day will be fine, novelty. Have a welcome breakfast with the team, where they'll try and give me all the shite jobs we'll do work allocation over bacon sarnies and posh coffee. Which I will eat/drink while it is hot. Grin Then will faff with emails, have some lunch with my chums, do some IT "refresher" training with a chum in that dept, and then toddle home. Tomorrow I am having coffee, lunch, and coffee with 3 different clients, a less than subtle "hello, I'm back, send me some work". So first two days look ok. It's just the fact that after that I will have to keep coming back that will feel strange.

pikz it will be ok. Make sure you rest when LO does and enjoy time to yourself. Whenever I am without DH I always realise how I do prefer having him around until about a minute after we are reunited.

horsey I know how that feels. You do cram it all in. And learn to not do what isnt essential. And my God, I am efficient. The problem is at this stage, it is impossible to imagine how you'll fit work in AS WELL as everything you do now. But you really will.

jing welcome back.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 13/05/2013 09:02

horsey you will embrace your busy and fulfilling lifestyle. You will have to be mega organised but I am sure you will manage. Somehow I work three and a half days bomb 100 miles up the m40 on a Friday to get the girls. Have four kids all weekend, work from home with a baby and a toddler on Monday Hmm, am out two nights a week at zumba and church. Somehow I do it and it is great. I don't quaff as much wine as I used to though Sad

Have you made your DRs appointment mm?

LuisGarcia · 13/05/2013 09:03

The Broody app should also cost far more than advertised, and delete all contacts and calender entries from your phone.

StuntNun · 13/05/2013 09:03

I'm in the GP waiting room as J had an allergic reaction to egg this morning. Confused I feel so stupid, I was having scrambled eggs for breakfast and gave him a taste on a whim. Of course he loved it! Ten minutes later the area around his mouth was covered in hives and he was coughing and choking. He's got over it now and seems fine but I thought seeing as how I'd driven him down here I may as well get him seen. I feel a bit hysterical tbh, I hope I don't lose it in the doctor's.

Ooh fucksticks stunt - glad he seems ok. I would be a quivering wreck so I wouldn't worry about having a meltdown a wee cry.

Stunt that sounds well scary i would have had a massive meltdown!

Sophia can you give lessons?

kirrinIsland · 13/05/2013 09:20

How scary stunt Hope your nerves recover!

Good luck at the docs bplp

Passmethecrisps · 13/05/2013 09:21

Morning

Welcome back jing!

Good luck today madame. Enjoy your bacon sarnies.

Sounds like there were some shocking nights last night. We were grand until 3 when it was every half hour or so until 6am. P has a cough which was waking her up. Poor sausage was sound asleep at 7:15 when we went in to get her. Lying there on her front dribbling into the mattress.

I think there are some nasty bugs going about just now VQ. I hope you feel better very soon.

For brekkie this morning p had a tiny bit of pear moosh, a lick of some banana and sucked the life out of some dry toast. I don't think anything was actually injested but a fun time was had by all.

Take it easy kyz. Just offer as usual and when E is feeling better he will get it. Don't panic. P gets very excited when she sees the bowl but is not so sure when you actually start trying to get to her eat the contents. But while she enjoys playing with the bowl and the spoon I figure that is success of a sort.

Big hugs for horsey. I had a blub to my DH last weekend as I just felt completely squished by the weight of responsib

Passmethecrisps · 13/05/2013 09:23

. . . Ility!

Pressed post by accident.

Cross posted - will read propely

Passmethecrisps · 13/05/2013 09:28

Ack stunt! Sounds horrendous. I am a master of meltdowns in front of doctors. My GP now barely notices. I just blubber "don't worry about me just listen to what I am saying . . . Whimper whimper". I hope that little J is alright.

Good luck with the ole fanjo appointment BP

StuntNun · 13/05/2013 09:42

J is back to normal and was charming the ladies in the chemists. They gave me a prescription for antihistamines but I won't give him any now as the reaction is already over. Basically antihistamines need to be given in advance or as the reaction is happening to have any effect. But I'll have them to hand if he is allergic to anything else or gets egg by accident.
