Bplp just thrashed me at wwf.

Pidj We are still (!!) in virusy hell, but yes. When we're better.

horseylady It'll work.

kirrin if you get broody, get a cat

TheDetective · 12/05/2013 23:39

I'll be right behind you Kirrin. Plans for 3rd fucked right off out the window at the start of this refuckingression.

GTbaby · 12/05/2013 23:40

I made it home! Got bk at 9.15. Lol. Ended up the place was a bit of a walk from the actual street. However I took my time n it was fine. Good exercise n given me confidence that I can go out n walk 5/10mins without tooooo much pain.
Watched the voice n tucked up in bed now. Very tiered.

Mil scam. Those things suck! My mum fell for it. Was asked (over phone) to put money into an account as she had won something. She was so excited. Luckily my sister came home, my mum not wanting to take wrong account number down asked my sister to speak to scam guy on phone. When my sis realised what was going on she went loopy on the phone. And then at my mum. The guy knew SO much about my mum she thought it must be right.

Right. Sleepy sleepy. Must take advantage of sister having LO tonight with her.

kirrinIsland · 13/05/2013 00:05

Not a cat no - if I get broody I shall get a pony. Then I'll be having too much fun to want to go back to newborn stuff! ignores fact that I have a pony stood in a bloody field with zero chance of getting back on anytime time soon

LuisGarcia · 13/05/2013 00:18

so... another pony?

ChasingDaisy · 13/05/2013 00:21

I'm here.

4hr 45 for first sleep. Just so random. No pattern to it at all.

LuisGarcia · 13/05/2013 00:27

J was awful and now sleeps, I promise. The randomness is hurty, I agree.

ChasingDaisy · 13/05/2013 00:32

O is better than some, so can't really complain. He is such a livewire that I think he finds it hard to switch off sometimes.
horsey you ok?

kyz you sound like you need something to cheer you up. Wish I could help Sad

When O had babycorn he tended to bite chunks off, spit them out and then laugh Grin Heart stopping stuff though.

TheDetective · 13/05/2013 01:03

Hmpf. Hello regression meet midnight night feed!! Oh gawwwwd. It's gonna be 'one of those' isn't it?!!! .

I'm going in on mission transfer! Wish me luck!!!

LuisGarcia · 13/05/2013 01:04

salutes

LuisGarcia · 13/05/2013 01:21

You think maneuvering a sleeping six month old from your arms into a cot is easy.

But not in The Cube.

Contestant defeated.

TheDetective · 13/05/2013 01:54

Fail fail and fail.

He was fast asleep. Got Moses basket back out thinking it might be better as he will feel cocooned.

Success. Then fail.

Fucking fucks sake.

This is classic newborn behaviour. But it's so much worse than newborn!!!!!

TheDetective · 13/05/2013 01:55

Hello Mr Wits. Meet Mr End.

LuisGarcia · 13/05/2013 02:34

L just sneezed in my ear

kirrinIsland · 13/05/2013 02:45

Maybe not another pony. Then I'd have sanity but no money. Perhaps a cat isn't such a bad idea.

The Cube is about right Luis I swear some of those challenges must be easier than The Transfer.

Hope you're getting some sleep detective

4.45 is pretty good chasing

StuntNun · 13/05/2013 03:34

It's not as bad as you think Horsey, you get into the swing of things.

We're on the third wake up (second feed) of the night already. Last night he slept for 6.5 hours after his dream feed. Why so unpredictable?

OP posts:
Bryzoan · 13/05/2013 03:57

Dying here too. Worst night for transfers in ages. Taking hours. Torture. Perhaps we should develop an app for broody people that wakes them randomly, shouts for ages, settles then shouts again if you put phone down. Would solve world population crisis and be cheaper than a pony. We might win Nobel peace prize. I would prefer some peace though.

ComradeJing · 13/05/2013 04:12

HELLLOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

My self imposed MN ban is over. I'm back!

Will try to catch up.

Bryzoan · 13/05/2013 04:14

As babies go g doesn't cry much in the day. But r seems to have nicknamed him 'crying'. If she doesn't know where he is she signs 'where's crying?' and when I was left g with dh Saturday morning to take r to her swimming lesson she yelped when I started the engine. I looked round and she frantically signed 'crying'. She thought i had forgotten him! much better behaved than I was as a kid. I let mum and dad drive half way to the airport for our holiday without my sister, who we'd left sat on the garden wall. I was in so much trouble for not saying anything. I just thought I had lucked out!

Really sorry to hear about scanners. Evil bastards.

Horsey - so sorry. Returning to work is bloody hard, especially on FA sleep. You will get through it though. Might not be pleasant but you will get through it.

Bryzoan · 13/05/2013 04:16

Jing! Smile lovely to see you.!

Lily311 · 13/05/2013 04:45

Why do babies think that the day starts at 5 fucking am??

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 13/05/2013 05:54

bryzoam that's quite funny about your sister. Was she still sat on the garden wall when you got back?

lily I don't know. When you find the answer, let us all know?! Grin

horsey I am about to find out today. DS was awake every hour Ish through the night. Didnt need much - pat on back here, dummy reinserted there, etc, but I had to get up each and every time, because DH just doesn't fucking hear, and if I woke DH to get him up to sort DS, it would take so long DS would be a lot harder to settle. So have not had a decent chunk of sleep, and am off to work. Am hoping it sorts itself out soon.

Oh, and it may not be sweary Wednesday, but fucking, cunting, bastarding conjunctivitis. Both DC and me.

TheDetective · 13/05/2013 06:41

Pffffft. Fuck you sleep! I never liked you anyway! Confused

I totally love that your DD calls him crying bryz that's just too cute for words!!

TheDetective · 13/05/2013 06:42

Good luck at work madam :( xxx

Sophiathesnowfairy · 13/05/2013 06:50

Silly detective was it cosy in O's cot! Grin

The boys rooms are east facing, I have a travel blackout blind in DS1sroom as we ae renting and as it's only for a year we don't want to get into putting things up.

So DS2is waking at 05:30. Do I move the blind and have DS1wake. Spend the pennies on another travel blackout blind, or go for the Big Pig style and drpe a big Gray blanket over the curtain rail?

Am liking option 3 as a trial.
