Hi to all the lovely Feb babies - thought I would start a new thread as my darling DS's mummy needs loads of helpful hints and advice as she stumbles around with no idea of anything!

DS has just got to that really sweet stage where everything is wonderful, giggling and laughing a lot and giving out kisses to all - really cute - am really enjoying him. He walks around the house entirely convinced that he is the best thing since sliced bread and it is wonderful to watch!

Spoke to our HV last week. Apparantly the 18m/2y checks no longer happen unless there are specific issues.

Pneumo vacc is one of my jobs!! Babies born 4/2/05 to 3/3/05 are due vaccine 4th November -3rd December. You should get an appintment sent hrough like you did for MMR and the earlier ones.

HTH!!

We shall get him done. What about you lot?

TheBlonde · 08/10/2006 16:51

Hiya DTG! DS will get the jab when we get offered it
Hope you're having a good weekend

burstingbug · 12/11/2006 13:34

Hi all, doesn't time fly! Our little ones are almost 2
DS1 is fab, learning new words everyday and potty training himself, asking for weewee and potty
We have an addition to our family - 12wk old DS2 born mid Aug so our hands are full! It's hard work but worth it - I think

TheBlonde · 29/11/2006 19:13

Hi burstingbug
Completely missed your post
Many congratulations!! Hope all is going well

coolmama · 04/12/2006 22:39

oh congratulations - what lovely news! - things are a bit manic at the moment as we are getting ready for xmas with a cast of thousands coming to stay! - Dear heaven - am just going to drink heavily, I think.
DS is chatting wildly, but no signs of any potty training inclination - so will just wait and see, I guess.

Just a quick belated Happy Xmas to everyone

Hope you and the LOs had fun

DS ruined his granny's carpet knocked a poinsetta over and the stain is huge - luckily it will be covered on the insurance

burstingwithfestivitybug · 28/12/2006 19:27

Hope we all had a good christmas. George had loads of thomas the tank engine pressies and clothes, Joe had a few toys and clothes.
Potty training went on the back burner, but will try and re-start in the new year. G is still only saying simple words, no sentances yet. He's stopped hitting and throwing things so much at Joe which is good, but he's still the biggest monster on earth for attention seeking when I'm trying to sort Joe out
He's started to wake up at 4ish in the morning and come into our room, I really hope he gets out of this habit! It's not much fun when there's 4 of us cramed in our bed and I'm trying to bf Joe, I keep asking dh if we can have a king sized bed
Well lets roll on into 2007 and see what delights our not so litte babies bring.

Anyone planning any big 2nd birthday parties? George is having a big joint party with his cousin who's birthday is a day afer his and a friend who they both go to nursery with (also our neighbour)her birthday is a few days before. We've hired the local YMCA and a bouncy castle, should be fun. I've also got my Mum's suprise 60th to plan - her birthday is mid March, busy gathering names from her address book without her noticing!

TheBlonde · 14/01/2007 16:21

Hiya

No birthday party planned here
I will be 37 weeks so can't face it!!

burstingbug · 14/01/2007 21:11

Don't blame you at 37wks! I didn't leave the house or do a lot then if I could help it. Can't believe DS2 is almost 5mths - what was I thinking?!
Anyone potty or toilet training yet? We started DS1 last week. He's dry during his nap - if he has one nowadays. Only 1 accident today which is pretty good.

TheBlonde · 15/01/2007 09:14

Good for you with the potty training

I might try it in the summer
At the moment DS just doesn't have enough verbal communication to even think of attempting it!

Coolmama · 15/01/2007 09:31

Hi Ladies - TB can't believe you are already 37 weeks! - seems like just yesterday that you told us you were expecting!! - We aren't planning a big party at all - a friends' DS is having a party at a new play centre which we are going to on Thurs and will do something there if it is okay, but aside from that, not too big of a thing.
DS has started to tell me when he has made a poo and can get his pants up and down (more or less!) by himself, but I think I will also wait until the summer - much easier, methinks!

It's okay coolmama - I'm 32 weeks now but will be 37 weeks when DS turns 2
You nearly panicked me there!!

burstingbug · 30/01/2007 12:32

TheBlonde · 30/01/2007 20:12
