You are right PR in that a few weeks here or there won't matter.
It just makes me cross that people need to fight to get it. I find it bizarre.

She sounds batshit crazy MM. Keep your head down for a few weeks but don't hide yourself away.

MsJupiterJones · 25/04/2013 22:48

PR

AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is all. Wine

PetiteRaleuse · 25/04/2013 22:49

Yes, having to fight to get decent nourishment for one's baby is bizarre. Wrong even. I know we are criticised over here for not being bf friendly enough but as far as ff is concerned the paeds are very good at helping pick the right one. They're also good at encouraging bf but very accepting of the choice to ff.

PetiteRaleuse · 25/04/2013 22:52

TWO FUCKING NIGHTS IN A FUCKING ROW. That is BEYOND A FUCKING JOKE. If everyone else wasn't asleep I'd hoover the house from top to bottom. Again.

Elizadoesdolittle · 25/04/2013 22:56

pr I'm currently reading why french children don't throw food. I downloaded it ages a go when you were takling about it. I'm finding it very interesting. I often think of you when I'm in bed reading it, is that wrong Grin

Dixiebell · 25/04/2013 23:01

fuckbuckets, I think I woke Ted up coming to bed. Now feeding. Perhaps time to move him out of our room, but with 3x waking a per night, I don't fancy the trip across the hall.

No weaning here yet, he's 20 weeks tomorrow. Ds1's meals are such hard work, I'm happy to leave it as long as possible with Teddy so as not to create extra work!

Izzy, I still get pain in my right hip at nighttime sometimes. Nowhere near as bad as when I was pg, but definitely a hangover from that.

It's our 4th wedding anniversary today. Can't believe it's only 4 yrs - we have since bought a new house and had 2 kids! We were together for 10 years before we got married tho so I guess it just took us a while to get going. :) We are celebrating by DH staying out at a work do while I ate pasta and too much toast with golden syrup Hmm on my own. Hmph.

ValiumQueen · 25/04/2013 23:02

PR you can buy an electric thing that you plug in that gets rid of the fuckers using sonic or something. Not sure if the pets would be affected though. May be worth a try? Makes it worse initially as the little fuckers pack their bags and trot out on front of you.

LuisGarcia · 25/04/2013 23:09

Happy anniversary Dixiebell.

PetiteRaleuse, death to arthropods is available by the kilo

TheDetective · 25/04/2013 23:11

Is no one going to bed here tonight?! Will I be among the first for once?!

Might go to bed and depress myself at 1 teaspoon of olive oil and 30g of cheese :(

PetiteRaleuse · 25/04/2013 23:11

Ha eliza read it with a pinch of salt but the basics are pretty good. I find her a little unfairly anti French though.

vq if spiders could actually wave pompoms and cheerlead their way through the house they would be doing so already. They are taking the piss and the animals are useless. When my cats were indoor cats they nailed spiders. Now they have much bigger fish to fry outside. Am wary of plug in insecty things though with the children and asthmatic DH. And fire hazard.

PetiteRaleuse · 25/04/2013 23:13

30g of cheese an hour detective ? I'm in bed. Just insomniac.

Luis that looks like scary stuff

TheDetective · 25/04/2013 23:15

30 of cheese. A day I think. WAAAAAAAAH!!

Still trying to read my way through it.

I get the whole eat veg n shit. I eat veg. Lots of it.

But I want to know how bad some of the bad things I like to eat are. So I can work out my moderated treats syns blah blah blah.

Tomorrow. I buy scales. And a book. With everything in.

Sigh.

Fuck you fat bitch. Fuck you.

TheDetective · 25/04/2013 23:16

I mean scales for weighing food. Once a week is enough weighing for me thanks!

LuisGarcia · 25/04/2013 23:16

It's about as dangerous to vertebrates and plants as talcum powder, but it will wipe out an arthropod problem

PetiteRaleuse · 25/04/2013 23:23

Ok, thanks luis I'll look into that and see if I can get it here.

Detective I was joking. They mean 30g a day. Do-able. And you'll have to grill stuff instead of cooking it in lovely butter or oil.. A teaspoon of oil can go a long way if you paint it over the pan.. i fry eggs with a tsp of oil, and steak....

PurplePidjin · 25/04/2013 23:30

R had a nom on a few spoonfuls of sweet potato tonight. He got the idea immediately, moving forward to the spoon and grabbing my hand to get it in :o he sits unaided, grabs and chews his (empty) spoon and cup at meal times and watches us eat with his mouth open. 23 weeks on Monday. I think some of it got swallowed too, we shall see at the next dirty nappy!

TheDetective · 25/04/2013 23:31

I'm still sulking at 30g of cheese. I eat too much cheese. Pffft.

wannabedomesticgoddess · 25/04/2013 23:32

Cant you get sprays PR ?

Or are the spiders where you are immune to the things that scare the namby pamby spiders here? (Where are you?)

I have a spray that has citronella and something from chestnuts in it. They hate it. Havent seen a spider since the two huge ones that chased me two years ago!

MsJupiterJones · 25/04/2013 23:48

Wannabe pliz to have details of spray?!

wannabedomesticgoddess · 25/04/2013 23:55

I got it from Betterware. Its called Spider Stop.

If you dont get Betterware, I am sure theres other brands. I spray it round all exterior doors and windows!

Will go have a google.

wannabedomesticgoddess · 25/04/2013 23:58

Betterware online store

different brand on Amazon

PurplePidjin · 26/04/2013 00:11

Chasing - from the other fred - thank you, but our main woes are financial. Dp's health is a frustrating game of wait and recover. The entertainment and emotional support i get here is fab Thanks

LuisGarcia · 26/04/2013 00:31

Bryzoan I think 2 year olds integrating is a problem to be solved across the board. J's nursery is mainstream, and, well I don't know about all of them but I know his bffs at least recognise most signs. Because it's normal to sign.

I was building J up to his second visit this week by telling him he was going to go there and play with cars, then sing songs, then play in the sandpit, at which point he stopped me and frantically signed that he was going to play with cars, sing songs, read stories then play in the sandpit. Which is what he did last week, tbf.

J is 3 in September, so I think you're a little bit ahead of us, but R sounds awesome. Q. Do you get "helpful" family / friends / acquaintances / strangers doing the least helpful things offering unasked for advice?

LuisGarcia · 26/04/2013 01:56

Ok I'm outta here for the do. Gnight everyone, sleep well hahaha and be awesome to each other at wwf but be terrible to me please salutes

PurplePidjin · 26/04/2013 03:14

In again. I both love and loath work nights - fucked up sleep because he's out of routine/i get in late but love the kids.
