Oh detective I so feel for you. Try to relax and enjoy your dinner. Is your favourite. (Is it like fondue) (sorry, she of the stupid questions)
Thanks all for your advice today, and stunt for the time you took to write your thoughts. I will take a proper look at that book this evening and probably order it seeing as I have to go through this again with O. I do understand is a right of passage. It is so hard to deal with. I just want to hold them and tell them it's ok but a.) that tends to make it worse and b) I know that is the wrong thing to do as it is rewarding the tantrums.
Today has been much better tantrum wise, so am hoping it was because he has been feeling like a turd. We have had a couple of minor ones but nothing like the last few days.
I dropped the girls off with their dad and cried all the way back. Mainly just because. And then I decided I wanted my mum and that made me worse! And then when I got home I discovered someone had keyed our car while I was parked at Cherwell Valley services.
It was odd. I parked, they are always tight spaces at services but I was immaculately in the middle of my lines. I opened the doors for the girls and made sure they did not touch the cars either side. I noticed the car on the passenger side had a old woman in it, and as we walked away from the car I noticed her get out and start faffing around inbetween the cars. When I drove away I noticed my passenger side wing mirror had been pressed in And was annoyed as our mirrors are electric and that cocks them up. I got home came inside and then we left to go out about half an hour later when I noticed it as i walked out of the house. MASSIVE FUCK OFF KEY SCRATCHS DOWN THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR.
I am thinking of phoning the services and seeing if they have CCTV and I can get the reg of the women's car and complain to DH the police.
Anyway, glass of vino and steak wraps a coming up peeps.........
