I should have said I just got basic pay for all the extras I did!

PurplePidjin · 06/04/2013 17:27

I've had a lovely day out with my mum, got a lampshade, a touch to turn on lamp with 3 light levels, a footstool storage box thing and a picture for the nursery. R slept beautifully in the sling, apart from when he was cooing winsomely at old ladies :o

Clarella · 06/04/2013 18:03

oh dear valiumq - I'm glad your nights are better with dd is being a handful.

hugs pr insomnia is shit when they really are sleeping. we need extra strong grade sleepy dust, adult version tonight. (otherwise known as gin)

thanks for the advice quiche. he's also been poorly in the last month too with a water infection plus those silly antibiotics. so could be adding extra lbs. plus hes sooooo distracted in the day. he's actually going a little higher than his line again - we both think he really is on the 25th rather than the 9th, is over 25th for length (though I know all that means very little!)

it is extremely hard to hear about friends and relatives with babies that sleep well as dh seems to see it see it as such a negative issue but I have to hold on to the fact he's healthy and alert (many people comment on the alert bit Hmm Confused ) and progressing so very well. plus I am still borderline on too much thyroxine so at least can cope well with 4 hours a night!!Grin

I too decided cosleeping and less mnetting was a plan mm!

Clarella · 06/04/2013 18:03

Sad detective

TheDetective · 06/04/2013 18:07

Fuck. I can't poo because my epis is absolutely fucking killing.

This was such a stupid fucking idea.

I can't do it. I'm in a lot of pain but having to pretend all is ok. My dad and his wife know I still have pain so why the fuck they think I can sit on a wooden dining chair I don't know.

I'm in a mess and I'm stuck here til weds :(

On the plus side the Raclette is cooking for dinner. Small mercies.

I still need to poo but can't relax enough because of the pain :(

TheDetective · 06/04/2013 18:08

Raclette vs wooden chair. Bollocks. (I put a cushion on and got raised eyebrows but tbh even the cushion wasn't enough.)

BigPigLittlePig · 06/04/2013 18:24

Ouch detective. Not sure even raclette is enough to make up for a wooden chair/broken fanjo combination.

So after weeks of comfort snacking, due to reflux hindsights wonderful, today she has fed at 9, 11 and 5. My boobs are going to explode. She has also smiled, slept in the sling and started cooing at us again, which she hadn't done for weeks. Cannot believe, especially with all the other refluxers on here, that I didn't think of it sooner. Such an idiot.

I'm hoping that the relative quietness of Fred today means that everyone has been out enjoying the sun. We've spent the day on the beach at Minehead, only slightly marred by dsd wetting herself (wtaf? she hasn't done that for years!) followed by frantic new-knicker-hunt.

ValiumQueen · 06/04/2013 18:54

How can you spend £50 on cheese? Wine yes, but cheese?

ValiumQueen · 06/04/2013 18:55

The app did that. I put a quid sign in.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 06/04/2013 18:59

Ouch detective that doesn't sound good. I to have a fucked up fanjo but not much pain really, just feel like there is a bowling ball hanging between my legs, it's actually my fucking bladder!!

clarella BIL issues dont sound fun :(

We've been out to exchange my broken changing bag, also bought toiletries for our holiday. £42 on sun cream and shower gel etc!

ValiumQueen · 06/04/2013 19:01

Detective try to view the overtime situation differently. You have a secure well paid job that you love, and can do overtime. From herein you will get paid more for the overtime. You have also just learned you are getting paid bank holidays which is worth a lot of money. You also get extra at weekends and nights and bank holidays. You are also on paid mat leave. Looking at it from this angle you are really very lucky. Plus you are young and have great tits.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 06/04/2013 19:06

Love it vq "plus you are young and have great tits)

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/04/2013 19:13

Oh detective I so feel for you. Try to relax and enjoy your dinner. Is your favourite. (Is it like fondue) (sorry, she of the stupid questions)

Thanks all for your advice today, and stunt for the time you took to write your thoughts. I will take a proper look at that book this evening and probably order it seeing as I have to go through this again with O. I do understand is a right of passage. It is so hard to deal with. I just want to hold them and tell them it's ok but a.) that tends to make it worse and b) I know that is the wrong thing to do as it is rewarding the tantrums.

Today has been much better tantrum wise, so am hoping it was because he has been feeling like a turd. We have had a couple of minor ones but nothing like the last few days.

I dropped the girls off with their dad and cried all the way back. Mainly just because. And then I decided I wanted my mum and that made me worse! And then when I got home I discovered someone had keyed our car while I was parked at Cherwell Valley services.

It was odd. I parked, they are always tight spaces at services but I was immaculately in the middle of my lines. I opened the doors for the girls and made sure they did not touch the cars either side. I noticed the car on the passenger side had a old woman in it, and as we walked away from the car I noticed her get out and start faffing around inbetween the cars. When I drove away I noticed my passenger side wing mirror had been pressed in And was annoyed as our mirrors are electric and that cocks them up. I got home came inside and then we left to go out about half an hour later when I noticed it as i walked out of the house. MASSIVE FUCK OFF KEY SCRATCHS DOWN THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR.

I am thinking of phoning the services and seeing if they have CCTV and I can get the reg of the women's car and complain to DH the police.

Anyway, glass of vino and steak wraps a coming up peeps.........

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/04/2013 19:21

Oops exciting....am just about to bid for another baby can high chair on eBay. Wish me luck. Have lost everything I bid for lately. Envy

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/04/2013 19:23

I am just standing. Watching the minutes tick away while my steak probably over does.

fruitpastilles · 06/04/2013 19:30

Why oh why is Saturday night telly sooooo shit these days?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/04/2013 19:32

fatima I fucking know.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/04/2013 19:50

"i won I won" I don't fucking believe it . A baby can for 20 squids in great condition and it matches DS1s Grin

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/04/2013 19:50

And the steak over did Sad

Lily311 · 06/04/2013 19:52

VQ the tits made me chuckle. You are right obviously. I guess Grin.

Good day here, O was in a good mood. Met up with a friend for coffee than just dedicated the afternoon for entertaining O. She was knackered by 7. Fingers cross for good night here.

chasing How are you feeling? Are you ok?

detective you spent £50 on cheese? How about chocolates? You must spend some money on swiss chocolates. I went to Switzerland when I was 14, you can buy the best chocs there. Now I crave them and there is none at home. Grrr.

fruit I didn't pay for this month TV licence. The program is utter rubbish and I can watch everything on Iplayer or 4OD. I do have lovefilm instant though, catching up on Prison Break right now.

fruitpastilles · 06/04/2013 19:56

sophia what's a baby can? Well done for winning though Grin

lily I sometimes wonder why we bother with it, our tv cost £80 a month it's ridiculous and there's never anything on. I used to have Netflix the free 30 day trial and even got fed up of that before the 30 days was up.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/04/2013 20:03

I meant a Baby Dan Highchair.

fruitpastilles · 06/04/2013 20:06

Oh ha, I didn't even figure that out Blush

Pikz · 06/04/2013 20:20
Clarella · 06/04/2013 20:25

Fuck. Worst ever bed time. Infront of bil. No idea what happened other than over tired, teething and some wind issues. I'm thinking a bit of gavisgon here again too actually.
