Poor horses :(

Both books are basically stories within stories. Various things going off all around the building of a cathedral. It's a book you can easily read a few pages of and put down. I really enjoyed them. Others I've recommended them too enjoy them too!!! If you like history and a good story. The shardlake series are also good. I just love books and horses :) so glad I'm a veggie!!!

Dixiebell · 13/02/2013 22:20

CJ, DH and I were literally just wondering whether to remove the guard bar from side if ds1's bed. He's only 2.4 and been in big boy bed since he was 2. Don't know whether he'd fall out but maybe your post is a sign to hold off a bit! Hope she's ok.

zcos · 13/02/2013 22:26

hey horsey I'm feeling quite smug as a veggie too Grin
although if there is horse instead of beef ... I don't want to think what's in products marked "suitable for vegetarians" Shock ... best not to think about it! Wink

TheDetective · 13/02/2013 22:43

Fucking hell! I get blamed for all the swearing here! How fucking cunting bastarding shitting pissing arseholing dare you! Grin

VQ I like to savour the word cunt, and use it for those people or things that reeeeeeeeally test my patience like no Internet Virgin cuntknobbers. They are all words to me and I only think swearing is offensive if you swear at someone in an aggressive attitude, or if the other person would rather not hear it. I do like a good swear though, and text is easier to do it as you know your children won't be reading it. One hopes!!!

Sorry for the absence! Went back to bed this morning and then been busy ever since! Now I'm back in bed with sleeping bambino in arms. Really shouldn't spend an hour reading this thread with him on me. He has been jiggled about from my stifled giggles! You have all out done yourselves today!!

PR I'm going to suggest your mac n cheese to DP for our valentines meal tomorrow! He will love that!

We had chilli today - how dare you call chilli boring Glenda! Grin I make an awesome one and we have it with nachos, coriander and melted mozzarella on top. So so so bad for you but so so so amazing!

I've been eating less choc n crisps the last 2 days. Tried some clothes on and looked like a bag of cats (not you Cat!) wibbling about all over the place. Hello motivation! I managed strict control with how much cheese and nachos I had with my chilli. I've got lots of healthy things in and I'm doing okay. It's not a diet. Okaaaay?!

Fuck. Just been puked on. Hes been asleep an hour FFS and he fed at 9. Grrrr.

Oh, Oscar is not impressed with the bumbo. Confused Despite being very strong and has impressive head holding skills (he is solid as a rock on his feet and likes to be stood up on your lap as much as possible!) he just slumped one way in it and grumped. I suspect he is too tall for it to support him. I'm going to investigate this theory tomorrow. He is 65cm. What are others heights? Anyway. If he doesn't like it in the next week I might get rid. My living room has been taken over as it is!

Stunt Loving the new thread title!!

TheDetective · 13/02/2013 22:46

Just realised is been jiggling him with laughing. That will explain the vomit then duuuuuhbrains.

YW I am always looking at stuff and wondering if you can have it. This thread has clearly taken over my life!

Elizadoesdolittle · 13/02/2013 22:52

I like ken follet books too. Have you been watching world without an end horsey. It's on channel 4 on Saturday. I've only watched one episode, got them sky plussed though. Book wise I think I prefer the fall of giants and the next part to that which was called winter something and the other (exact name escapes me now!). I've actually read quite a lot since E has been born. I read my kindle in bed when I'm doing the first night time feed (usually about 10:30 but am running late today!). I find reading on my kindle a hell of a lot easier to do whilst bf than having to hold a book.

Had a much better day today. Much better on the shouting levels and went to aquafit tonight which I enjoyed.

Got the dreaded weigh in tomorrow. Que E throwing up all night I expect! Plus she's hardly fed all evening so I expect I'm in for a fun night.

Night all.

kirrinIsland · 13/02/2013 23:27

Can't keep up, not even going to try tonight - sorry. Struggling to keep my eyes open, wish N could say the same....

Hope you are all ok, and that plenty of sleep is had by all.

ValiumQueen · 13/02/2013 23:57

I did not know horse was dairy.

J did 2.5 hours. Better than 10 mins I guess.

blonder I am amazed with all the scrutiny you have had that this has only just been discovered.

Still wednesday, or at least it was when I started reading, so fuck fuck bollocks bollocks shit damn poo cunt.

TheDetective · 13/02/2013 23:59

Fucking hell it's over for another week!

ValiumQueen · 14/02/2013 00:00

I have already had red roses and a beautiful card from my horny husband. I apologised for feeling totally non horny and suggested he did the night feeds to see if he felt horny still. He reckoned he would, so not necessary.

ValiumQueen · 14/02/2013 00:01

I am thankful wednesday is over. One day nearer to the end of half term.

TheDetective · 14/02/2013 00:02

Poo is not a swear word

Grin

I wonder what tonight has in store for us all.... Pllllllleeeeeeeaaaaase give me til 6. Or even 5. Not 3. Please god not 3...!

TheDetective · 14/02/2013 00:05

DP just told me he was like a horny teenager. Without the teenage bit. I reminded him that there is another 4 days before I will even consider sex after the burst condom saga seriously never known a man to break so many. His record is 4 in one fucking fuck... so now he is sulking.

I reminded him that the thing lying next to us snorting was conceived this night last year.

ValiumQueen · 14/02/2013 00:08

My parents were exclusive brethryn. Poo is a swear word in my world.

Try a femidom detective

zcos · 14/02/2013 00:23

dito detective ... when I finally get dd down. if I put her down thinking it will be a long stretch its normally 3 am ...if I am negative then she sleeps for longer :/ maybe that's the key ... the double bluff?

zcos · 14/02/2013 00:25

wish it was still Wednesday ...Angry dh snoring ... bleeping bleep bleep! Grin

Dixiebell · 14/02/2013 03:39

3.30! You could set a clock by my baby at the mo. I long for a lie-in. Wouldn't a lie-on be nice? If only I could have a lie-in...(and 6.30am doesn't count as a lie-in, ds1, ok?)

Dixiebell · 14/02/2013 03:40

A lie-on would also be nice.

StuntNun · 14/02/2013 04:11

Hello thankful Thursday . I am thankful that J slept for 5.5 hours and that I managed to get to him before DH woke too (not easy since I am partially deaf and don't always hear him in the night). I am extremely thankful that Orange sorted their fuckup my credit rating is now back up to normal so I can have a mortgage so long as I say pwetty pwease with sugar and a cherry and spwinkles on top.

I am most thankful for my gorgeous little boy that I love and cherish. I love and cherish DS1 and DS2 as well but when they were babies I was lost in the moment with their day-to-day care and didn't have the experience then to know to delight in every day with them because it passes all too quickly and they're toddlers before you know it.

ValiumQueen · 14/02/2013 04:57

J slept 1.5 hours then 3 hours so three wakings so far. I am thankful he has slept this much which is actually a good night. This will be me up for the day now as feed will take a while and the girls will be up soon. Grr.

TheDetective · 14/02/2013 05:01

I am thankful it is not 3!

4.30...well he has met me half way!

I lie on... Hmmmm. Think I'd still prefer a lie in. Which I will hopefully get this morning. DP doing school run so when he gets back fingers crossed he can take him for 2 hours and I'll starfish in bed... Ahhhh!

I'm just ignoring the fact that he just sat himself up by rocking in order to reach the teat on the bottle. Shock Shock Shock errrrr?

StuntNun · 14/02/2013 05:08

I am still awake. Stoopid brain. I need sleep. Humph. It must be all the excitement about Valentine's day tomorrow lol. I hope there'll be chocolates otherwise I'll just have to help DH eat his. At least I'll definitely get a glass of Wine with my dinner. It's 17 years since we first sent Valentine's cards to each other. Blush
