PanickedForNoRaisin · 10/11/2012 21:13

((((Hugs)))) Jaggy Goodness work has come round fast hasn't it. Your boys will be absolutely fine. How many days/hours are you going to be working?

pomme I love your wedding pics too. Your venue looked beautiful. As did you of course.

PanickedForNoRaisin · 10/11/2012 21:15

Gah I name changed to post on another thread earlier because my post would've outed me. Will name change back now.

jaggythistle · 10/11/2012 21:32

back full time so 8 hours 5 days a week. although i get to finish 2 hours early on Fridays, work permitting. woo!

I'm doing normal hours the first few weeks, then i have my first evening shift week.

my friend has reminded me that I'm lucky that they're at home with DH, which is true. i only have to get myself out in the morning and i can phone and annoy talk to them whenever.

DS2 asleep at last after much shoogling around and rocking.

jaggythistle · 10/11/2012 21:36

i can almost work out who you are from how you post, but not quite Grin

scarletfingernail · 10/11/2012 22:10

I've PM'd you jaggy

scarletfingernail · 10/11/2012 22:11

God I really am thick!

Blush
jaggythistle · 10/11/2012 22:16

Aw i did the same thing. i name changed then waltzed back to my charters anonymous thread posting away. i think i had to report my own post! Grin!

scarletfingernail · 10/11/2012 22:20

Grin I think I just achieved the award for most pointless name change ever.

I've not even had wine. Can't be arsed to report myself. Oh well...

DreamingOfPeace · 10/11/2012 22:24

jaggy, being at home with a parent who loves him is nothing like going to childcare. He's a very lucky boy! They both are. He is so not abandoned. And I'm not saying nursery is terrible or anything, but r is still little so imo its great he's home with daddy. Some children blooming love nursery of course, some don't. I have two step-nephews of almost identical age, both go to nursery and went from 9 months for one, nearly a year for the other and one adores it, one hates it, always has, still not keen at 2.5 . :( but needs must! I'm sure your dh will be fine when he gets into his stride. After all, if ds2 is bored and whinging, he'll soon work out how little much housework he can do!

raisin I'm intrigued, I think I know who you are, from the name and your post (& I confess, I read your post on the thread you changed for as I'm puzzling over whether I'm right) . It would be totally ott to pm to ask if its them, right?! Unless I've forgotten someone it can only possibly be 4 of the Brookers anyway, from the other thread.... But one I'm positive it isn't, so that leaves 3!!

DreamingOfPeace · 10/11/2012 22:25

X posts!!!!

Grin
scarletfingernail · 10/11/2012 22:33

Blush but Grin

Biscuitsandtea · 10/11/2012 22:53

Now I'm keen to see which brooker you had ruled out Dream?

OP posts:
DreamingOfPeace · 10/11/2012 22:59

I thought it was most likely her or possibly you from the child's age, but other possibles just from having a ds of about the right age were ninja and hawthers, but decided hawthers ds too young and definitely not her style post . Should have ruled out ninja too as she doesn't have 2 ds's...

scarletfingernail · 10/11/2012 23:05

I'm really confused now, I don't have 2 DS's either. My brain is mush...

Interested now re my style post. I'd have thought the word panic in the title, DS, and OOH GP would have been a huge giveaway Grin

hawthers · 10/11/2012 23:37

scarlet more likely not enough whining compared to my normal posting style....

NinjaChipmunk · 10/11/2012 23:54

i don't understand what is going on........
happy birthday jen

can someone come over to my thread here and tell me if i have something to worry about please. DD doesn't exactly make noise and I'm a little concerned...

jaggythistle · 11/11/2012 04:07

i didn't read your name change post. :)

i think I'd have guessed you or maybe biscuits. i was trying to think who says goodness a lot! :)

scarletfingernail · 11/11/2012 07:45

Ha ha. The funny thing is that I don't say it at all in RL. Replace the "goodness" with a swear word. That is more me really. Not in front of the DC though obv.

DreamingOfPeace · 11/11/2012 09:15

scarlet, sorry, of course you don't. I think it just read like someone who had two dc, and also thought/guessed if ninja had posted it it would have been about straw-gate, or had some mention of a necessary a&e trip as people were talking about both... Oh I give up explaining, my brain works in a strange way clearly, and my logic was quite possibly not all rational...

Will try and look at your thread later ninja!

scarletfingernail · 11/11/2012 09:56

It's me Dream who confused everything. Name changing to protect identity is obviously beyond me. Plus I killed that particular thread anyway!

Biscuitsandtea · 11/11/2012 10:32

Can I just add, I thought the name change was awesome! Very clever indeed Smile

pommedechocolat · 11/11/2012 11:02

I went out last night and had lots of wine! A was up allll night though so feeling slightly rough this am. I fed her alcoholic milk too because if she still wakes in the night and won't take a bottle then she leaves me no option :) I hate expressing this time round and found an article about pumping and dumping being a myth which was enough to convince me on that front :)

Thank you for the pic comments guys, way too kind on me but my venue deserved it, it's the most amazing walled garden just down the road from us. I like that I can see it everyday :)

Loving the name change confusion!

jaggy - Fingers crossed you'll feel fine about it next week. Your boys are in the best hands possible as everyone else said. At the moment Im doing the odd day and loving it but when we move to Italy I'll be doing 3 days a week which will be the most I've worked since dd1 and I am feeling a bit odd about it. It's such a tightrope of emotions isnt it?!

Hope all good this am. I am feeling surprising jaunty. Maybe I'm still drunk?!

Oh and dream - A had fish fingers and waffles too yesterday tea time as I was doing them for dd1!!

DreamingOfPeace · 11/11/2012 18:34

Pump and dump?! God no, alcoholic milk all the way- if I ever make it out of the house again, sigh.... Not happened yet...

Oh, for heavens sake children, do you not realize I'm mn-ing?!

Laters...

jaggythistle · 11/11/2012 21:59

grr. my phone is really struggling with this site. it's taken me all day to get back to the mobile version and log in.

thanks for the reassuring posts about tomorrow. I'm sure my boys will be fine. it's just me being a bit pathetic. Grin I'm just after being reduced to tears while trying to get a screaming overtired DS2 to sleep. Blush

I've been flapping about making sure my clothes are out, most of lunch ready and expressing gear packed. have included spare top just in case, touch wood i didn't get leakage last time though...

Biscuitsandtea · 11/11/2012 22:42

Good luck tomorrow Jaggy Thanks

Will be brooking for you that everything is A-OK and you get on OK at work. Hope the day passes quickly for you xxx
