hi dm thanx, am not feeling too bad at mo. doc put me on citalopram, not heard much abou them but they making me feel so nauseous and other not good stuff, trying not to give tmi lol. anyway another doc said to take one every other day and see how that goes but can't see how much good that would do but at least it gives me day off. i thought i'd got rid of that nausea when i was pg!

Happy Christmas Eve ladies and toddlers.

Scan went really well thank you. We are having a PINK one. So that means i get to go SHOPPING and then put all of Jacks clothes on Ebay! We have a name already and she will be called Ella. So pleased and lucky that we will have one of each - dh says that we definately do not need to have anymore babies!

Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas, and my Xmas wish for DM & TTP is that you have a very happy 2007. May you find YOUR perfect partner DM and TTP i really hope that you and DH are able to work things out in a very happy way.

Getting old!! At least you are stil closer to 20 than you are 30! I will be 26 in April, and i am quite looking forward to it. My dh on the other hand will be 28 in January and is in complete denial about getting closer to the big 3 0.

Jack has just gone to bed so it looks like Father Christmas will be arriving in about 10 minutes. Just need to unlock the downstairs toilet and sort through all the many presents we have collected.

dm the doc said that it would wear off but i'm gonna go see another doc after hols as it's difficult for me to sleep when i feel sick. have took 3 this way but thought it a bit odd when he suggested that but how they gonna work?

Hi there DM - How did Darcie like her quad bike thingy? Jack is totally Thomas'd out. Must have got about 10 different Thomas the Tank toys and not one was a duplicate.

He is so funny at the moment and is changing every day it seems. Dada has turned to Daddy, and now he cannot stop saying it. He is eating loads. And since we moved house he has slept through for 11.5 to 12 hours a night. Only wish we had moved here sooner, rather than havingot wait almost 20mths before he slept through!

thank you i did have a lovely day. my bro took me to the football back home and we won 1-0, even tho the ref (who needed the strongest set of anti-bias glasses) sent one of our players off we still won! he (db that is!)got me a footy shirt with the name and number of fave player on too).

sm glad jack sleeping through, fran has odd night here and there where she can't sleep properly but thankfully for her (and me [wink}) it's not too often. from the sound of it you have all settled in well.

dm how was the quad bike? dd had a trike thing she loves and when she first saw it, she wouldn't get off it for ages - she kept saying my bike over and over like she couldn't quite believe she had one bless her!

i'm not feeling too bad today thanks, he just seems to be able to irritate me quite easily. christmas was stress free for once - even when the roasting pan developed a split halfway through cooking and the oil dripping on the bottom of a hot oven creates quite a lot of smoke! was going to take it back cos we only used it once but have just been informed that it's now in the bin. men!

We had a great Christmas although DS2 has been a little poorly with a temperature. Last night he was so tired with Christmas and with being poorly that he went to bed at 6.30pm as normal but slept till I got back from the next sale at 7am (first time he has ever slept that long in one go) Yes I am one of those nutters that goes to the NEXT sale at 5am

TTM - my mother is also one of those nutters! She did 2 Next stores and M&S and was home by 9.30am

Jack also seems to have developed a temperature and is so far refusing to have calpol, but seems happy enough playing with his trains.

My boss bought him a Scuttle Bug for Xmas. Its a fold up tricycle. Its great it fits, when folded, under the pushchair. He spends ages whizzing up and down the lounge.

Darcie loves her quad bike but the whole point of electric is do it yourself but the buttons are quite tough to push.

Still got chesty cough and rattling but otherwise is okay.

Jack has a lovely temperature and i have managed to get 2 doses of calpol and he had calprofen just before he went to bed. Been of his food for 3 days. Will see how he is tomorrow and if no better then i might take him to the doctors.

We had a very late one didn't get to bed until 4am (latest for me for a while) - luckily don't feel too bad today - I didn't drink as expecting no.3 in August!

things not too bad at mo, couldn't post before as my bro was visiting for xmas week and only went home about half hour ago. dp watching stargate box set i got him for xmas so he nice and quiet

mummy emotion

Bought Jack a potty on Sunday and thought i would leave it in the downstairs loo so that he could see it and see if he showed any interest in using it. Well, went for a wee and whilst in the loo Jack opened the door and grabbed the potty and said 'wee wee'. So once i was done (tmi) i took his trousers & nappy off and sat him on there. Didnt do anything but did keep saying 'wee wee' and standing up and sitting down. When it was bath time we took it upstairs and i said to dh that it would be good if we tried him on it before getting in the bath. Tried, and nothing. When he got out the bath he said to dh 'wee wee daddy', and dh just said ok let me dry you off first to which Jack pulled away and went and sat on potty. HE DID A WEE!!! We were so proud as was he. Anyway, this morning as we were getting him ready for nursery he said it again and we sat him straight on it and he did it again, and has done a 3rd one before getting in the bath this evening.

I dont want to force him into, so if he can let us know when he wants to go then that would be great.

Sorry for the long post, but i am just so proud and pleased.

Congrats to Jack AM what a grown up boy you have, darcie sits on the potty just doesn't go in it has done a few times but thats it. TTP e-mail when ready hun is fine, just don't get to low i'm always around!!!

Darcie is still unwell, having to take her back to the doctors today as think may have an ear infection and still got bad chesty cough.
I've got a date tomorrow night i've been set up by my girlfriends, his name is Lee is 28 lives locally to me and has 6yr old daughter, seems friendly. will see shall we.
