hello bab! nice to hear from you. i understand what you mean about calm reigning! dd has found out he curtains in living room are rather handy for hiding behind (she hasn't quite realised that we can still see her feet poking out from underneath when she says boo!)

ooh err-just checked my spelling and it is rather cod-esque-sorry!

FM-Can't have curtains round here for much the same reason-and the cats like swinging in them!Blinds all the way but if dd hides her face anywhere it is the same-thinks she can't be seen!

isn't that sweet?! it's the same when she goes all shy, she drops her face then kind of looks up to see if she's still being looked at bless her little heart

WishICouldGiveUpWork - lo at the toys in the printer etc. We have a similar problem of Thomas the Tank and friends being posted all over the place. Found Thomas buried at the bottom of the washing basket today - he had been missing for days!

Still feeling sick all day every day, roll on 12 weeks when it should go away - well here's hoping - Am 9+2 at the mo and just waiting for my scan date to come through.

Jack is doing really well. He has so many words and is picking new ones up all the time. He is such a joy at the moment. He frequently has dh and myself in stiches, what with his dance moves and the way he gets so excited if he sees Thomes on tv.

Hi everyone,
I have just read through the thread and cant believe where the time has gone since i last posted.
DD2 has become even more of a pickle lately, today he hit DD1 (who is 2.7) in the face with a toy shark and then marked the freshly painted walls in the lounge with a toy penguin! Then when you tell him off he just raises his shoulders and gives you a very cheeky grin.
DM - Life sounds great at the moment, very pleased for you.

how embarassing i have just put dd1 and dd2 instead of ds1 and ds2, I dont even have any daughters!!!!

Thought i was turning a corner with this sickness lark, but obviously not as i feel really crappy today! Mind you didnt help when a certain young man woke up at some god awful time and wouldnt go back to sleep so ended up in our bed, where he managed to hog most of the space. Dh was hanging onto the edge for dear life and i had Jack's feet in my back for ages. Then at 5.40am he decided that it was time to get up!!!!

phew! was getting a tad worried.........

not too bad thanx, changed depts injob a couple of weeks ago now and the atmosphere is so much better i'm more like my old self. one of the managers commented on it and i'm sure many of you wouldve laughed at me biting my toungue off!
because his gf is now with who she is (looooooong story) she thinks she can get away with murder and very often does - if we treated her how she treats the staff in her dept we'd be had before the beak (so to say)! anyway, after i' dhad enough of biting my tongue i told him that my problems on the 2nd dept i had worked in were caused byt the atmospher that certain poeple had created. ffs and fwiw, they are supervisors and they should be trained to deal with the stress of the job, rude customers etc. if they can't handle it then they shouldn't be supervisors. enough of work tee hee

dp and i working through differences though i have told him that we still don't talk enough which he agreed to (and for reasons i can't go into) he has had abit of kick up a**e so that's working out okish at mo. dd in bed for afternoon nap - i on day off today, tomorrow and sundays. yippee - three whole days with dd.
am just finishing off a few black jacks that we bought sunday at a market and they are going down very nicely thank you

dd managed to say garage today!

ps i think sugar rush might be something to do with all those black jacks

Jack has had a busy week this week. On Monday i took him to the dentist with me and he let him look in his mouth. He was very proud of his 16teeth. After that we went to the doctors and he had his pnuemoccal (sp?) jab. Luckily he didnt have any reaction to it. and hs spent the rest of the week at nursery.

He has added 'glasses' 'bugger' 'breakfast' and 'toast' to his vocabulary. As you can tell we are SOOOOO proud of the 'bugger' addition! really going to have to watch what we say ..........

Hi everyone...
Last week has got to be one of the worst ever
On monday dh reversed my car in to a post and then on wednesday I was out with DS1 and DS2 in town and someone stole my purse. I always have my purse in the bottom of the nappy bag but for some strange reason I took a handbag with me and had it on the back of the pushchair (yes I know very stupid), and someone went into my bag and took my purse out.
The police caught her posting my driving licence and someone elses purse into a post box, no sign of the rest of my purse yet.
Then I came home to find out my mot ran out in june - what a week!!!!
