aprilmeadow · 24/08/2006 18:50

Thank you - feeling a bit sick already, which is a bit of a bugger! Not quite sure if it has sunk in as only found out last night and wasnt really expecting it. Due at the beginning of May.

Congratulations AM - fingers crossed you'll have a good one (Pg and baby!). It will go so much quicker than last time as you don't have time to stop and think about it! I remember chucking up with dd holding my hand and pointing down the loo (lovely!)

Am soooooooooo tired! the 2 kids close together seems such a good idea and is lovely to watch (sometimes) but I wish I could have a whole night to myself (even a 7am start). Patrick is waking up at all times at the moment (last night 5 times with a 6am start). I'm hoping it's teeth - now upto 5! Make me feel better by saying ds isn't the only one awake all night!

Since he's been walking he's been spending half his time diving on top of dd and fighting with her on the floor (such a boy thing to do!) and the rest running around after dd Copying her (2 toddlers running around and around house screaming wears thin quickly!). He's got a constant bruise on his face somewhere and is always dirty - looks a complete thug!

fransmom · 31/08/2006 20:36

congrats am (and dh!) how you feeling today?

verso, hows you?

i can't remember who posted about the mmr but i hated it when i took dd for hers. she didn't half tell the nurse off! it was really scary after though- cos when the first part of the vaccine kicked in, her temp shot up to 39.4. i felt so sorry for her. i just remember thinking please don't go any higher or she'll be fitting, please don't go any higher... thank god that's it for a while yet. (was it toytownmum?)

i still hate being a wothm

but on the other hand the time i get with dd is classic. am having to be very careful what we say in front of her now [sheepish ] (small voice........ ) her favourite word last week sounded very much like ship......... oops
poor lass now has some back teeth coming out i think. she hasn't had "canine" teeth yet strangely enough. i seem to be in the mood for a chat2nite! any1else there..........

Darciesmum · 01/09/2006 12:28

Hi all

Sounds like you are all doing well!

AM howz the sickness today?

Darcies teeth are giving her a lot of Jip

And i went on a date last nite. first time since i split with chris which was 5mths ago!
it was fun, he's my age and lives just round the corner!

aprilmeadow · 01/09/2006 12:33

Hey DM - i didnt know you had split with Chris - sorry to hear that. But cool that you had a date - hope things work out for you, because you def deserve it

Feeling ok today thanks, but have had to wear maternity jeans as my trousers are feeling tight already and i am only 5+ weeks . I have ordered a belly belt that should allow me to wear my regular trousers fro longer!

fransmom · 01/09/2006 12:44

dm i didn't know either but glad you had brill time on date! i know what you mean about the teeth thing, francesca's are too. i think it's aback tooth, though she slept through last night (phew!) so hopefully it's thru now.

i have to go for ecg on monday

aprilmeadow · 01/09/2006 15:41

oh no poor you FM, i really hope that all is ok for you. I hope that francesca's teeth stop giving her jip soon. Jack has got 4 back teeth and they were painful for him, but the k9's seem to be worse for him.

OP posts:
Darciesmum · 01/09/2006 20:37

AM 5 weeks sure your not carrying twins in there lol!!! i remember my belly belt!!!

FM- Hope Frans teeth come through soon, its awful for them! and i hope your ECG goes well.

fransmom · 02/09/2006 15:00

i spoke to soon tho it was only once that she woke last nite! i vaguely remember thining what time is it? i think i was on auto pilot!

thanx for thinking of me. i am terrified cos one of my nan's heart valves wasn't working properly and she wasn't very old when she went. i know that it's ever so slightly irrational for me to think like that but i ain't going anywhere away from dd. dp is trying to put on brave face i think to keep me going but hey ho, i shall find out wednesday. will keep you all posted.

i remember my belly belt too! good for the back tho. how you today am?

verso hows things with you?

x

aprilmeadow · 02/09/2006 19:23

Feeling particularly knackered today, but i only have myself to blame so i guess i cant moan too much. I went out with5 of my girlie friends and didnt get home til 01.50am as we decided to hit the nightclub!!! Now having never been in there sober it was rather interesting. Not that i go often - dont think i have been for about 18mths-2yrs. The best bit was our local club has a CHEESEY MUSIC room playing loads of my favourite songs. Backstreet Boys, 5ive, Wham and PJ & Duncan .

Going to bath ds and put him to bed, clean the kitchen and probably head to bed myself.

Hi all, sorry I havent posted for a while, where does the time go?......
Yes FM it was me who also hated the MMR.
Congratulations AM.
Congrats also to DM on the date.
DD2 is being a little pickle at night times at the moment, last night he SCREAMED 3 times at least before deciding at 6am that it was morning and time to party.
Hope everyone is well
Toytown Mum xxx

aprilmeadow · 03/09/2006 09:42

Darciesmum · 03/09/2006 14:44

Hi Lockets & Toytownmum good to hear from you, Howz LO Lockets?

fransmom · 04/09/2006 21:23

ecg went okay, in and out in 5minutes! should get results in couple of days. perhaps stress getting bit too much lately or something like that.

i think frans tooth has come thru she hasn't woke up so much the past couple of nights.
here's a tip if you do use a dummy - try not to pick the same week as they start growing their back teeth !

fransmom · 06/09/2006 22:13

helloooooooooooo! dd chose her potty today! my little girlie growing up. she tells me 6/10 when she going to fill her nappy, tho she not always keen on me changing it esp when she's too busy playing and it needs changing! ttfn

Darciesmum · 08/09/2006 09:08

Hi FM glad that your ECG went okay!

Darcie is def going through terrible 2's but is every other day.
Shes calling her little friends names now when ever we go to meet them! its so sweet

I was naughty i brought a new pushchair yesterday! £89.99 in Mothercare is lovely and light and so easy to push around!

And things with Phil are going so well i feel like i've known him forever! its weird!

fransmom · 08/09/2006 20:14

haven't got results yet, should get them sometime in the week. had blood test for coeliac day before yesterday and the nurse bodged it abit so now my arms are a bit bruised (she missed the vein in the first arm). never mind.

i thought the terrible 2s weren't sposed to start yet?! fran lies on the floor too it's like she can't understand why i said no to something!!!!!!!! it gets a bit embarrassing if she has a paddy in the middle of a shop (luckily not cottoned on to lying down in a shop!) but i soon learning to get a thick skin!

dm, i am glad things are going well for you (has he gone through trial by mumsnet yet?!) - the online equivalent of meeting your friends.

fransmom · 08/09/2006 20:14

thanks for asking dm (where are my manners..........

toytownmum · 08/09/2006 21:56

DD2 slept from 6pm Till 4.30am and then went back off till 7am once he had his milk .

This may not sound very good, but he has been waking SEVERAL times a night!!!!

I am and always will be envious of anyone who's lo sleeps through all the time
