Hello everyone!!

WeAreBorg · 10/10/2011 20:02

I do feel bad though, I like being supportive to my friends. She has had a hard time, is a single parent and has to works lots of overtime to make ends meet. Sounds silly but she's quite naive and I think he probably spun her lines about the marriage being over etc. I just know I would never dream of going anywhere near a married man, or even men with serious girlfriends, I just wouldn't and I expect my friends to do the same [scary judgey borg]. bledkr of course he cheated on her, how do these women expect a man who cheated on his wife and 4 kids to stay faithful to her, thinks she's special eh? DH gets texts etc. from nurses at work, but he shows me and we giggle at them. Some women just make me embarrassed to be female, and a lot of men have egos that need flattering

ponyo Not sure what the odds are for an entirely celibate couple are?! I would like to have another soon but no period + no DTD = no baba Sad

severus hands off other mums, I saw her first

NeedToCreepZZZ · 10/10/2011 20:55

Hello all!
Sooo much to catch up on so need a couple of days Wink Can't wait to read about jane's hen night.

SO tired, been like a single parent the last week and my anxiety has been back with a vengeance but I will post soon promise! Miss you all and hope you all get lovely sleepy babies tonight! x

janedoe25 · 10/10/2011 21:01

needto hope you are ok? shh don't tell anyone that i have sent you a huge hug! xx

deadka · 10/10/2011 21:04

Ah you lot make me giggle! PMSL at reastie and the inadvertent bumps, and our new member severus Grin.

I'm really surprised too at everyone saying they want to stop at 1 child. I always wanted at least 1, we MAY consider a third but I'd be happy to stop at 2. You're right though, it is hard work going from 1-2 but totally worth it and I love each girl just as much as the other.

Right guess what? We are leaving the Toothless Club! Yes, S has a sharp little pointy bit in her mouth!!

OP posts:
deadka · 10/10/2011 21:05

Hug from me too needto :)

ReastieHorrorShow · 10/10/2011 21:15

aww needto I thought you must be busy as you've been quiet the past few days. Hope Ben has at least been sleeping well for you? [hug]

ledkr was your exh always an idiot? Hmm

Not going to baby sensory tomorrow - DH has forbidden me as I have a cold. I'm really frustrated as I want to go but there are tiny babies there so it would be unfair to risk giving them anything. Just have to go shopping again I guess

Oh, SIL used the term 'gah' in her fb status - do you think she's a mner and how can I stalk her ?

wigglesmonsterock · 10/10/2011 21:22

NeedToCreep Now in danger of it becoming a group hug Grin

deadka yay for S and her pointy tooth.

I always wanted more than one child too, but to be honest, its very hard work and I think you need to be so sure that its what you both want. My sister is sure that she only wants one, and a lot of children in S primary school class have no siblings. As the wise Ponyo said sometimes siblings just don't get on anyway Grin

Oh and having Anna has made me realise how much I love the other two, I remember them as babies, how happy they make me feel which tbh you can sometimes forget when they are being very irritating. And seeing them grow up and learn new things makes me love Anna even more as well, knowing that she has all these exciting things to come.

Bledkr · 10/10/2011 21:27

needto I spent most of the weekend alone with a whingy baby, all my friends and family were with their families i was very stressed and all my anxiety was back by Sunday afternoon.
It maybe be just from being alone a lot my love,I am feeling great again today,i just think it comes and goes.Keep us posted.

reastie we were childhood sweethearts and sickeningly happy,he was amazing when i was ill and a really hands on Dad,he supported me whilst i did my training and was fine about me having my nights out and girls holidays. He was made redundant from the job he had all his life.I was pg with Ella and he just went cranky,he met an old friend from school and began smoking weed and acting like a teenager-the rest is history Sad I prefer dh tho,he is very gorgeous and tho i moan he is my absolute rock.

Bledkr · 10/10/2011 21:29

wigs have you been on the cooking sherry again Grin

wigglesmonsterock · 10/10/2011 21:33

Bledkr Grin, no just in a good mood Grin

ILovePonyo · 10/10/2011 21:41

Needto and ledkr the reason I went to my mums last weekend and am going to hers this weekend is b'cos dp was/is away, I feel much better having her help and support than being stuck on my own all weekend! I'm joining in the group hug here Needto :)

ledkr Shock to your exh, talk about a mid life crisis eh. I'm also shocked at all the women trying it on with married men, I obv live a sheltered life but then again you've all seen how grumpy/scary my do looks Grin

Borg aah are you feeling ok about the lack of action at the mo? Sure it'll pass soon enough, (and more babies soon Wink)

I'm watching a prog on twins with one born mixed race and one white, v interesting so going to get off the internet and finish watching :)

ReastieHorrorShow · 10/10/2011 22:23

just a quickie as in bed listening to radio trying to get to sleep but MIZK try ringing your lost mob again in the morning - they just said on the radio the blackberry network has been down/patchy today, so when you rang and it was off it may have just been a network issue [hopeful] . Right, back to bed now.

WeAreBorg · 10/10/2011 22:50

reastie hope you have a nice quickie in bed

needto room for one more in this hug? Hope you're okay, I am rubbish when on my own with N too.

wiggles that's really sweet

dead yay for tooth!

ponyo that prog sounds interesting. N is 1/4 Indian but has fair hair and blue/gray eyes and I think people are always a bit puzzled when they see me with him, I sometimes wonder what his future [hopeful] bro or sis would look like. I actually thought our baby would look like gorgeous Anya, with dark hair and huge brown eyes!

Night night chumlibears

janedoe25 · 11/10/2011 07:40

Ha ha ha reastie how was your quickie Wink

borg Nate sounds gorgeous!

Oh pants got to go baby is at the door.

40Shrieks · 11/10/2011 07:40

Mornig all

Borg your posts have been making me chuckle

mizk sorry about your phone, hope you find it, I also heard about probs with BB yesterday

reastie I too thought you had covered the bed in Always! Ha ha what a picture

wiggles you soppy old mare. I know what you mean though Grin

bledkr can't believe the knobhead that knobhead ran off with, imagine boasting about sth like that!

Well you wouldn't think changing a feckin bandage would be so tricky. First of all the nurses at the surgery didn't want to see him at all. They told ustongo to the hospital again. The hospital wouldn't have a bar of it and said it was the surgerys responsibility. Eventually get there and the nurse was lovely, bu didn't have the right dressings so had to faff abou going into different rooms to try and get it all together. It took ages sonwas late for school, had left mobile at home so school could get hold of menand were ringing hubby, then had to go back to surgery to collect prescriptions for more dressings which lo and behold the chemist don't stock so have to order, but cant order it in time for his next appointment so we now have to trawl the chemists to see who stocks it. A bloody bandage for gods sake!!

ILovePonyo · 11/10/2011 08:50

Morning all,

Shock 40 what a stress, a bloody bandage indeed! Makes me feel tired just reading about it. Good luck tracking it down today!

Borg that prog was interesting, are you half indan then? I often notice (mostly asian) women looking at A then at me probably thinking 'hmm, whats that babys dad then' as she clearly doesn't get her lovely dark eyes and hair from me Grin I've just had another nosy at your pics and N is such a cutie :)

dd was awake and crying at 6.30 this morning so is now asleep, I went in the shower and could hear her crying and screeching, when I got out she was asleep Shock Good job I was in the shower tho think I got the sweats with her wah-ing away and getting louder and louder Hmm

Hope everyone has a nice day, we're off into town, will prob get rained on by the looks of things...

wigglesrock · 11/10/2011 10:23

40 what a palaver Grin

Ponyo I had the baby crying sweats this morning in the bank, of course I also had the please Mr Bank man give me some money sweats as well Grin

Funny enough Sofia looked very like Anya was she was little, all hair and dark eyes, every time I look at your photos it makes me smile Grin, again not been at the gin this morning, maybe its the thought of going back to work in a few weeks that has me all sentimental Hmm

It has rained here non stop for the past day, miserable and cold, you know that kind of fine rain that soaks you through Grin

Bledkr · 11/10/2011 10:38

I cant see borgs pics i wonder if its due to my name change?

My dsis's dp is indian so i bet their little boy baby will be stunning.

My Dad is mixed race but apart from my problem hair i have no sign of ethincity.

Dilly slept well 7-7 how lovely,in dont get excited now tho cos it never lasts.

I didnt mention it but my brother is back from Soth America wher he has been travelling,he is the new age traveller who lives in a converted lorry. He is coming up tonight for a few drinks and a meal, but i have had to warn him and his gf that me and dh are no longer the hard drinking late night revellers we once were and that we go to bed early Grin

I am having my first Birthday celebration on Friday with my mates then away for weekend with dh,you have to make the birthdays last at my age cos you dont know how many more you will have Grin

wigglesrock · 11/10/2011 10:44

bledkr yup, its because of name changes, I've changed back, these name changes are playing havoc with my spreadsheets Grin Tonight sounds lovely, I'm sure you can manage one or two shandies, you old codger!

Bledkr · 11/10/2011 11:02

Yeah i keep wondering who people are talking to/about on the other threads.Ive not been in any arguments since aislingora was slagging off older mothers, herself being 46 Shock older than most of us on the thread.Me and anyfucker decided to ignore her so she went away like an annoying smell Grin

wigglesrock · 11/10/2011 11:23

Oh I wouldn't worry it was insinuated on a thread that I was a chav because I gave the girls something to eat while shopping. Either that or I was exceptionally disorganised in not having an array of age appropriate snacks on my person at all time Grin To be honest I'm not sure what stung more being called common or having my legendary organisational skills questioned Grin

Bledkr · 11/10/2011 12:12

Some of them are such twats and look for trouble imo. I always feed my kids from the trolley and i took Dilly for her second visit to mcds on Saturday after Swimming, she developed her fine motor skills by dipping chips in ketchup Grin
I have always parented in a non pc way and mine are all great kids.I also bought them drink for parties when they were 15-along with some great advice, had an open communication re sex and drugs-no probs there either and my boys didnt kick off when i met dh like a lot of kids do.At my ds1's 21st birthday he thanked me in his speech for "Giving me the gift of tolerance for others and an education in life"
I was prouder than any parent at their kids graduation

Deliaskis · 11/10/2011 12:32

Boring post but anybody got their red book handy?

Mum took Claudia to be weighed this morning and she's 7.28 kg at 34 weeks. What centile is that? I'm not remotely ar$ed from a weight gain pov, but with her reflux meds, the dose is very weight sensitive, and as I've not upped it for ages, then if she's doing OK, it's a good sign I can start weaning her off it.

Ta
Dx

janedoe25 · 11/10/2011 12:41

Grin at dilly's motor skill training! I would be like you parenting wise ledkr everything in moderation. I have such a good relationship with my younger brothers, they come to me with all their problems (usually involves girls!).

Mindee is asleep, he is so cute! We spent the morning at soft play it was great fun.

Deliaskis · 11/10/2011 12:52

Oh and in other news, my Mum gave C a petit filou today (first time) and she cried when it was finished. Oh dear, it's very difficult being nearly 8 months old isn't it?
