Ugh jane sorry to hear about your Aunt, I am about what she said when you had Z and can't really see why she thinks she has to be invited, some people just feel a sense of entitlement. Hope it doesn't put a downer on the wedding for you and df, weddings sound so stressful and I think you just have to think of yourself, its your day after all!

We have just had nandos takeaway and cheesecake for tea, lovely :) Dp is on hols next week and got paid today so it was a nice treat. dd has been on form despite being snotty, we went to a friends and she crawled about and looked at the other children quite happily which makes me feel confident about nursery.

dp is getting up with her in the morning - I an have a lie in!! My first one in weeks or thats what it feels like. Just hope she sleeps ok bless her, the amount of crustiness around her nose last night was pretty impressive, the waking up lots was not.

Don't think I'll lose 6lb this week, just ate 9 two finger kit kats and then some ice cream and chocolate sauce . Feel very, very sick now. Should have had , at least then I'd have slept well!

jane my dh is excellent at telling people straight but in a nice way, so that they know not to mention it again [hgrin]... Did it for our wedding with one of his aunts who he hates (his mum's sister, & his mum was banging on about inviting her at the time)...needless to say she certainly did not get an invite . He's offered to do the honours for his wee sister's wedding next July too...I can tout him out to assist you in this manner, if you wish ?

N's nursery sessions been ok so far...tho could hear him sobbing as I was walking up the stairs to collect him today, wee soul! 3 more sessions next week, then all for real...hope he's ok next week...

Well i am truly a horrible dil. We went to see Kevin (amazing btw very dark tho) got in at 10.40 and as usual pil arent here So i made a quick cuppa and legged it up the stairs with ds in hot pursuit cos he didnt fancy polite convo either am so chuffed that i didnt have to stand downstairs chatting.

Omg-dh has just come up too!! They have only just got here and he's chucked them on the lilo-hes learning well.

Looking forward to the meet up haha.

Dilly has been lush today so cuddly which never happens,she crawls to me and lies on my feet as asignal to be picked up. Who needs baby signing eh?

Morning Well im not sure the visit is as they are normally acustomed to here.
Slept in the playroom on a lilo,dh down at 6.30 to make tea and bottle for D. All of us down here for 7 then dgs down at 7.45 to stare at them cos they are on the playroom floor.

Film was excellent.Imanaged to show myself up on the way out when i lost my footing and ended up doing a little dance on the stairs.Dh was shaking his head in despair.

I am at dh. Alice just gone to sleep for a nap in her cot. This could be the only half hour or however long in the day we are babyless and at home together. He is ignoring me and watching time team in his pjs . You see this is why we never get any marital excitement

Alice getting perilously close to crawling now - she glided her way across the room at baby sign yesterday and since then has been rocking on all fours at any opportunity....time to think about babyproofing I think

Bens birthday celebrations are finally over. He had his big soft play party today, it was great. He really enjoyed himself and had some fantastic presents. I'm always amazed by how generous people are! Think we're all worn out now, watching Aladdin with Ben and trying not to eat anymore cake!

reastie I have a food/cookery related question...I've been subscribing to good food magazine since oct 2001...thinking I need to get rid of some soon...do u think any local schools would take them, for their food technology depts (if that's what it's called...was home economics in my day [hsmile])

Went foe anice long walk in the woods which girls loved then for chinese lunch buffet nom nom, paid for by them bought me a nice book and some money for birthday and then wrote a cheque out to pay for my highchair.
Wtf are we going to talk about now? They even left at a reasonable time altho they are going away tomorrow. She fed and changed Dilly at my suggestion and offered to babysit anytime we wanted.I am actually quite disappointed.

I finally got the courage to tell dh about my suspected pnd after 2 hours of him ignoring me crying . He went all quiet and hasn't mentioned it since but has been very nice to me

Aw reastie thats nice.I cant believe you have only just told him that tho Is communication and issue cos you have actually had a baby with this man and should be able to tell him anything.Dh has been aware of how i have felt all the way thru and has thus been able to respond appropriately. I lay it bear warts and all "I feel lonely/isolated/tired/resentfull" and any other thing i feel.The chances are that dh is feeling the same way.
Im going to give the hurt locker a go i think.
