hi everyone.
i don't know if you remember me, but i used to post (occasionally) on the march pregnant board. i had my little girl, Amy, on 10th march 2006. i was wondering if you'd mind if i joined this club? i've been popping in to see how you're all getting on and thought it was about time i introduced myself!
i went back to work part-time in august, just two days a week, and Amy goes to a nursery which she just loves. she is clapping, waving, crawling and can say dad-dad, mum-mum and duck (she has a duck in her bath at night!)
i have a bit of a question about milk and routines. at the moment amy's day looks like this (altough it's quite different at nursery at the moment because she doesn't want to nap, she used to!):
7am up
7.30am 5oz milk (by herself in her high chair from a next stage bottle with handles) and half a weetabix
9.30ish (very ish!) first nap for 30-60mins ish
11.30/12 lunch, protein followed by fruit
1.30 ish (3 hours after she woke up approx.) next nap for 30-90 mins
2.30ish 7oz bottle
5.00 dinner carbohydrate then fromage frais
6.30 bath
7.00 7oz bottle then bed.
(juice throughout the day, as i remember to offer her some!)
i've been considering dropping the 2.30 bottle - well, reduing the amount slowly over the next month, and putting her morning milk into a spouted cup, as the first step towards an open cup. what are you all doing? also, how many naps are your little one's on? when she goes up to the toddler room at nursery (when she's one) they just have one nap after lunch so i'll have to start to get her into that.
sorry to start off with such a long post! thanks
