PickasillyChristmasName · 14/12/2005 15:57

And I've got it!!!

(It had better work....)

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 14/12/2005 15:59

OK, PickasillyChristmasName you can have it for now since you're not very well. Even us evil one's can be nice sometimes! But I'll come a -hnting for it when I'm evil again...be warned!

Disappears in puff of smoke!!

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 14/12/2005 16:02

oooooh, apologies - I hate apostrophes in the wrong place!!! Should of course have been "evil ones" and I'm "a-hunting" not "a-hnting".

See even evil ones make typos!!!

I am of course perfect in every other evil way!!

PickasillyChristmasName · 14/12/2005 16:03

I'm scaaaaaaaaaaaaaared

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 14/12/2005 16:08

Am now going to attempt to decorate the tree (we've only had it for 10 days!! - it's real and starting to drop and droop already!) with DD1. Let's see how far we get before Abigail wakes up and/or DD1 has to go to Whiston A&E with glass bauble stuck in her foot. Wish me luck!

Simplyred · 14/12/2005 16:11

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus - best of luck xxxx

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 14/12/2005 16:15

Thanks SR!
Oh don't be scared Pickasilly! When I take off the mak up , wig and badly fitting old dame's costume - I'm just a sad old faded ex-soap star!

milwardmincepies · 14/12/2005 21:34

Broken record is probably a good description of me sometimes with the things I say over & over to my kids!! "eat your dinners", "stop fighting", "pick it up", "I don't know where it is" & so on .....

best wishes to all xxx

Harktheheraldcabewillsing · 14/12/2005 23:45

Nighty night everyone... Just finished polishing the remaining halos and off to bed!

No more pinching you naughty fairies!!!

Sleep well (and thank you for the lovely MN role play) xxx

10sleepstilxmas · 15/12/2005 05:38

good morning all, wow it's been a long time since i've been awake at this time with my little angel. (her halo is stayiing where it is)
i think you all went a little crazy yesterday LOL, i mention pantomines and everyone goes crazy
sr/rh, i think them pics would of got to me, i masunderstood and thought they were porn, sorry hunny, you were right to get a little wound up about them am i forgiven? i seemed to have the knack for upsetting people yesterday

Simplyred · 15/12/2005 10:11

10sleepstilxmas - Sorry your littlie got you up early - Rachel was up at 6am too. I was not upset with you at all - only with dh - he is a real prat sometimes. I know he has some tacky magazine (he he) under the bed - but these were different - but its a all ok now!

Went out for lunch and dinner yesterday - and so my tummy hurts today - very grumbly! Better go and wrap birthday (ds) and Christmas pressents!

PickasillyChristmasName · 15/12/2005 10:31

Halo didn't work so I demand a refund .

Alice woke up at 1 and 3. DH's alarm went off at 5:30 so he could go and get his plane to Glasgow. Alice then woke up at 7:30, followed by DS at 8.

Have run out of credit on my phone. Bother.

But breast is getting better .

Harktheheraldcabewillsing · 15/12/2005 11:22

Good to hear your boobie's on the mend PC - Sorry the halo didn't work but think perhaps your demand for a refund on a stolen article might be a bit cheeky though!!!

10sleeps... errgh is it really only 10 sleeps???the speed with which these days are disappearing is wigging me out!!! I'm no more behind with christmas things than usual though so perhaps I should just calm down.

I received the requested lovely 'Carter's' vests from my SIL in the US today... so pleased as Conrad's been practically living in the one! as soon as it's washed, it's back on him again... funny how there's always one thing that is particularly right, it's just that they seem particularly ample in the botty so the poppers don't strain over his tots-bots yet the neck and arms aren't so big they flap about and let the cold in!

Oh I'm tutting at myself for my vest obsession now - sorry

Even sleepy Conrad didn't manage to sleep all the way through last night, he woke around 3 and guzzled two alarmingly full boobies and then to my amazement just went straight back into his cot... if he's up in the night it usually means he's a wide awake boy!

RH - talking of hurting tummies, does anyone else find their digestive system has become really sluggish? however fibre rich and fruit intensive I eat it doesn't seem to help it's only since the birth too... Is it just me??

Hope everyone's well - going to make Christmas Cards this PM

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 15/12/2005 12:45

Well, looks like I didn't need the stolen halo after all! Both DDs slept through until 7.30 or thereabouts for the second night in a row. Could this mean that DD1 is finally over her cold and DD2 is beginning to settle into a routine (desparately gropes around for something vaguely resembling veneer!)?
Christmas tree decorated without any mishaps though if half the baubles survive this year with very active toddler I'll be amazed!
Glad boobies seem to be getting better PC. Did Alice feed when she woke during the night? Probably trying to help you out with the mastitis by feeding as much as possible - see her halo IS there!
Any tips on how to get into town with dodgy pram so I can pay in urgent cheque so it clears and I can afford to buy christmas pressies?? Noticed yesterday that the (very expensive!) wheel was about to fall of when I was about half mile from the car. Walked back to the car park half carrying the thing with both DDs in it, praying that it wouldn't collapse on the way. Do I risk being stranded with 2DDs or not have enough money to finish christmas shopping????
Cabe, I find my metabolism has slowed down but it had gone really mad when I was pg so figure it's just about getting back to normal.
Hope everyone else ok.

Simplyred · 15/12/2005 12:45

Harktheheraldcabewillsing - I find my digestive system is erratic! either very constipated or very not ! also have tummy wind and burps which was not like me pre
pregnancy/labour/c-section!! sorry if tmi at lunch time !!

Harktheheraldcabewillsing · 15/12/2005 12:55

No no SR - don't mind the post content... just pleased I'm not alone (not that I'm pleased you're going through the same thing), it's been so bad that I keep meaning to make an appointment with the doctor but as it's not urgent or one of my babes I always put it off for another day - I guess it's some hormonal thing but I wish it would stop!

Harktheheraldcabewillsing · 15/12/2005 13:01

No suggestions for you buggy dilema Jaamy I'd try to risk it and have the cash if it were me though!

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 15/12/2005 13:01

SR - Happy Birthday to your DS! Is it today?

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 15/12/2005 13:07

Thanks anyway Cabe. Simple solution would be to get someone to have the girls (just call me sally webster!) so I can pop into town alone. However, my mum's off pandering to my sister today again and all other possible sitters are at work. If DDs settle for a minute or two i'll have to have a look at it.

Simplyred · 15/12/2005 14:05

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus - ds is 6 on Tuesday - just getting organized whilst he is out of the way. Now wrapped pretty much every thing - ops wheres Rachel !

PickasillyChristmasName · 15/12/2005 15:04

I have an erratic digestive system.

Think the ABs are flushing everything through me at the moment, IYKWIM .

But often I am bunged up.

I have been being amazingly domestic for me today - DS and I have made Thomas the Tank Engine Cakes (for him) and Rocky Road cake with Balieys in it (for me).

Alice now demanding attention (and probably more milk ) so had better attend to her.

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 15/12/2005 16:17

LOL at your wrapping joke, SR!!
Reminds me of that "man stroke woman" shetch show where the DH is constantly getting the child mixed up with whatever little job he's supposed to be doing, eg burying deceased family pet, etc HP BDAY to your DS for Tues!
Enjoy the rocky road, domesticated pickasilly!

Simplyred · 15/12/2005 18:41

I WANT ROCKY ROAD CAKE!!!

PickasillyChristmasName · 15/12/2005 18:42

haven't tried it yet but if good will givee recipe

PickasillyChristmasName · 15/12/2005 22:10

Where is everyone?

Suppose I should clear up the mess of the house and go to bed. With only Alice for company as DH is in Glasgow .

There is a lot of mess here.....
