Hello ladies, hope you found your way over here okay!

Our little newborns are newborns no more! :( :)

Hopefully a while yet before teething and weaning starts, but there's definitely a lot of wiggling and squealing going on already :o

Saskia is now crawling and pulling up to stand {proud mummy emoticon}. She even pushed her little car across the living room the other day without my realising she could (although she swiftly went face down after a few steps so I haven't tried to recreate!). But she has tree trunk legs which are MASSIVE and super strong and she is just pulling up constantly. But not a single tooth yet so they are all just different.
Was back at work today. Wow that was a shock.

FlubbaBubba · 01/09/2011 15:24

Boo to being back at work travis but Yay! to pulling up. Nothing will be safe now Wink

Amidst L's crying today I was able to have a good look into his mouth and he's actually got FOUR teeth! (one through, and three still fighting their way through)

LadyBuzz · 01/09/2011 19:34

No teeth here either travis not a single sign!

Kali has developed a very interested crawl, she pulls her knees up then launches herself forward but she is getting very quick at it.
She tried to pull herself up in her cot but hasn't suceeded but i have dropped the base just in case!

DH is booked in for the snip in 2 weeks Sad no more babies for me Sad
(unless I can fit a sneaky one in before the 22nd Grin Blush). I'm just not 100% sure i'm happy with that, but then i don't think I ever will be IYKWIM?

Back to work in 4 weeks for me boooo! but i am starting my new job so something to look forward to i suppose.

gallicgirl · 01/09/2011 22:17

ooo that's a very final decision.

I was pretty sick and nauseous yesterday and it did cross my mind that it felt like morning sickness and it made me realise I really don't want another any time soon!

FlubbaBubba · 02/09/2011 09:59

Oh :( LadyB :(

I tried to threaten DH (who doesn't want any more) that if he wanted any more nooky then he had to get his balls lopped off get the snip :o He looked a little green behind the gills when I said that! :o

gallic you sure you're not up the duff? :) :) We would love another one on this thread please, if you wouldn't mind, thanks very much, so kind :)

gallicgirl · 02/09/2011 10:50

Have a big round of f* offs.

Grin

Not gonna happen. Sorry.

Going to get Alys weighed today for first time in aaaaaages. I'm betting around 9 kg. Want to take guesses?

FlubbaBubba · 02/09/2011 11:13

Soooooo selfish! Shock

LadyBuzz · 02/09/2011 12:54

oh goodnes my friend has just phoned to say a traveller came into her place of work and told her loads of stuff she couldn't have known, then said a close friend was going to have a baby but was on a short timescale Shock and said their name began with a P or a T (both me full and shortened version) Shock my MIL also had her cards read and the lady told her there would be another grandson and also gave her my name.

Watch this space ladies it could still be me Shock Grin in heory i would love it but in reality 4DCs is a bit scary!

You sure you won't join me gallic ??? Grin

My guess is 18 1/2 kg - what is the prize if i'm right??

gallicgirl · 02/09/2011 14:11

18.5 KILOS??!!! You mean pounds, surely?

If you're right you get a big bag of smelly kudos...or maybe some Southend rock if I manage to haul my arse into town.

2DC is scary, never mind 4 - keep your legs crossed Ladybuzz!
Do you believe fortune tellers? A gypsy offered to tell my fortune last week but I politely declined - too much of a sceptic.

LadyBuzz · 02/09/2011 14:29

gallic yes I mean pounds Blush I'm tired Grin

I don't know if i believe in fortune tellers or not, this lady walked into my friends work and without asking for any payment told her all sorts of things she could not have known, the one my MIL saw said ooh who has a ladybuzz i can see a baby, MIL said yes you would she has one, and she said no that ones a girl she will have a boy! Also this is the 4th who has mentioned a baby in connection with me in the last couple of months.
My BF was told that her baby would be born 2 weeks from the day she saw her even though she was only 33 weeks pg and her DH wouldn't be there, she was born 2 weeks to the day and her DH walked into delivery as she was born.
I am reserving judgement for now Grin

naturalbaby · 02/09/2011 15:00

B was 7.8kg a couple of weeks ago. mummies intuition is always right so i'll go for 9kg if that's what gallic thinks!

dh wanted the snip last year and still can't accept that it's the right thing to do. just had a good chat with a hv who said i need to sort my contraception out properly Blush or i'll have 4 under 4's Shock. it would be good to have an even number of kids though!

i'd love to see a fortune teller! that's amazing ladyB

I always wanted 4 but DH only wanted 2 so we decided on 3 as a compromise!

FlubbaBubba · 02/09/2011 15:56

I want 4
DH wants 3
Think he might win :(

L was 8.4Kg at the end of July. Not weighed him since then - may weigh him again in October or so.

Baking hot outside, so sprinkler is on, girls are screaming in the garden and L is crawling all over the place and eating grass. :)

gallicgirl · 02/09/2011 16:50

It is fooking boiling here and I decided to walk to clinic. Idiot.

So the stick of rock goes tooooooo....... (drumroll please).....Ladybuzz

8.26 kg or 18 lb 2oz. Really thought she was fatter than that.

naturalbaby · 02/09/2011 20:41

ooo another grass eater! I've given up putting a blanket down for B outside cause he just shuffles off and spends ages pulling up grass, then rolls over and flaps it all over his face, then shouts cause he's got grass all over his face.

will the screaming ever end?!?

Fuzzywood · 02/09/2011 21:52

Hi, just popping in to mark my place as I lost you all there for a minute.
Had a quick read through, very impressed by the crawlers. Ev spins himself round and round in circles on his big fat tummy but any forward movement results in face planting. Grass eating here too, and mud, weeds, whatever else is on the lawn Grin.
Had a fab time in Jersey, Ev ate sand instead of grass for a few days.
Off to bed in a minute will catch up properly tomorrow Smile

RunningKatie · 02/09/2011 22:23

We're, ahem, trying for DC #2 after the wedding. Blush I'm not getting any younger and all those other cliches, but then that's it and DP will be having the snip.

Iz was 6.75kg 3 weeks ago, might try and take her to be weighed next week and see if all this food is fattening her up a bit. Bought her bridesmaids dress today, so cute!

Fuzzywood · 02/09/2011 22:26

Ooh Running that's exciting. When's the wedding?
I'm done with 2

FlubbaBubba · 03/09/2011 08:08

OOH Running, am very Envy :) A friend came over yesterday who is due any minute now and it made me all broody, despite her obvious discomfort and worries about when and how her baby would make her appearance into the world :)

Welcome back Fuzzy, glad the hols were good. L tried a bit of the local fayre sand while on holiday in Scotland too. He's had a think about it, and decided he prefers grass :o Does a good job of raking up all the old grass too Hmm

Fuzzywood · 04/09/2011 22:06

Just put some holiday pics up, can't believe how big he looks now compared to the older photos.
Mad day out at Legoland yesterday, knew it was a bad idea to go on the last Saturday of the summer holidays. Yet another 3rd birthday party today, hopefully done for a while now!

FlubbaBubba · 04/09/2011 22:20

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! :)

gallicgirl · 05/09/2011 11:32

Oh my goodness, look at him on a swing! Think DD would love that if we find one small enough. She adores flying through the air.

Hmm I mean we hold her and move her around rather than throw her through the air.

LadyBuzz · 05/09/2011 16:33

Grin gallic.

Kali likes a swing too, he is just lovely fuzzy

FlubbaBubba · 05/09/2011 18:49

Yeah, don't try to throw them through the air. It's not advised :o

L is real trouble now he's crawling everywhere - and the girls have lego and tiny beads and coins and bits of paper and more tiny, chokable things that I can't think of everywhere.

And he's naughty.

He smiled adorably at a friend's 2 yr old (at her birthday party Shock Blush), crawled over, babbling and smiling sweetly as he went, and promptly grabbed her by two tufts of hair (which fucking hurts I can tell you), and pulled her towards her and bit her forhead Blush Blush Blush :( ), then smiled sweetly as we wrestled him off of her! Shock
