stac I spoke too soon, hes buggered off in the other room to play pc.

On a brighter note, Dylan is rolling around all over the place.

DesperateHousewife20 · 24/01/2011 18:15

Oh God I had a shit (faeces) day too, it was explosive, all up his back, all over his willy and my god it stunk.

Chulita · 24/01/2011 19:03

I wish we'd had a shit day instead of the scream fest we had most likely cos he can't squeeze anything out poor mite.

I've just realised (esp since the thread last week) just how many people come on mn that aren't looking for advice/random chats. It suddenly dawned on me that people come on here to look for stories/gossip etc. Call me dense but it's only taken a couple of years...I've deleted my public profile now!

Feeling a bit sick and need to get some washing on/wash up/put L's toys away but I just want to go to bed (quite why I don't know since I don't get any sleep anyway, it's all just a big charade)

mlic hope today went well but I'm guessing it didnt!

dh I don't let DH go on the xbox/pc til the dc are in bed, I don't think it's fair on them!

memphis83 · 24/01/2011 19:07

Hi,

Unfortunately, in the early days I was quite smug about Jacob sleeping from 10 - 4, but not his sleeping has gone to shit, so I'm not so smug anymore, see Evidence A.

We're both in cheltenham, stuck in a one bedflat where now me and DH have been forced into th front room to be woken up several times a night sleep.

Does anyone know how to use teething crystals? I bought some for J today as he's on his second tooth, but I'm not sure how to get them into his mouth, lay him back and throw them in? Try when he's sitting up? If I put them in before bed, will he choke in his sleep?

See, anxious mum with PFB syndrome.

memphis83 · 24/01/2011 19:36

hotgiggidy either when he is crying drop them in his open mouth or i put them on a spoon and by the time he realises it isnt nice food the crystals have stuck to mouth!

HotGiggity · 24/01/2011 19:40

Probably the crying one is a better option then, he likes to 'help' with the spoon...Grin

Journos cake

memphis I meant to say earlier in the thread that you can reuse 'disposable' swim nappies loads and loads of times as long as there's no poo - you just dry them out and keep using (don't rip them off obv, just slide off like pants) we've only used one for L so far, done about 12 swims!

hotgiggity I used to live in Innsworth, my dd was born in Chelters. We're not far from you now

nixster28 · 24/01/2011 20:05

tsc clara sounds like such a little character tho probably not in the early hours when you want to sleep.

welcome hotgiggity love your name!

laughing at all your mahoosive poo stories!

cakes i'm glad tsc asked you how to say aurelia's name and have to confess i'd have been in with the anglicised lot.

and what's this about sleeping babies not being welcome?? now you know why i don't post everyday to tell you Dreya's still sleeping from 7ish to 7ish. i do feel for you all tho but ccant help it if my babies perfect Grin smug much? me?!

mlic hope you get on better tomorrow with the dietician than you did today

Chulita · 24/01/2011 20:08

mlic snap, that's just the sort of day we had except he ate a whole rusk for brekkie, got a rash and then cried and (barely) slept all day

i dont know whats wrong with mn but everytime nixster comes on her posts go all fuzzy when it gets to dreya sleeping!!!??
chulita i used to use the swimmers but dont know if its his tiny no existant bottom but they fill with water, cant use normal huggies or pampers as they leak because his little bum doesnt fill them, not that im complaining the best ones for him are Asda ones and they are on offer at the mo, ive bought so many today they are going to have to go in the loft!!!
dh has gone to walk my mums dog that we have stole from her and ive eaten a whole pack of jammy dodgers, best anti depressant in my eyes!!!

Chulita · 24/01/2011 20:23

Grin memphis I've noticed that too wrt to her posts. fwiw we use reusable swim nappies but just didn't want people binning them after one use

Mlic sorry you've had a bad day. Don't worry about fb. Hope you have a better day tomorrow and dietician is more helpful.

Had rubbish day too and hardly been near the pc or my phone. Won't bore u all with the details, but no sleep and a poorly family has made for a not very happy me.

Still haven't taken L swimming as everytime going to do it he ends up with another perforated ear drum from infections. We have reusable swim nappies too which he will have grown out of by time we go. He loves the water too :-(

L still has no interest in solids. Might give it a rest and try again in a few days

Right am already tucked up in bed and hoping for a couple if hours sleep before L wakes. Night all and hope we all have perfect babies and children tonight. (wishful thinking emoticon)

HotGiggity · 24/01/2011 20:57

Hi MLIC, the weaning is going ok, I have the biggest temptation to just shove food in his mouth to try and get him to sleep better, but he's happy just throwing food on the floorplodding along...

chulita DS was born in Cheltenham general as well, we were there from 13th - 18th of July so if you were in around then, I may well have seen you...

Spirael · 24/01/2011 20:59

[carefully conceals peacefully asleep M with a muslin]

HotGiggity · 24/01/2011 21:07

Oh he's asleep now, he just wont be when I want to go to bed...I know I should go to bed now to make up for lost sleep but this is the only me time I get since he wont take naps and wont let me put him down/leave the room.

I have to pee with him sat in the bathroom doorway this morning just so he didn't start screaming.
