needles believe it or not I am using asdas own brand and they have been great, she leaked out of pampers and huggies. Only £5 a box

Chulita · 02/02/2011 14:14

needle did your brother get back alright? S has perma-constipation so he doesn't leak out of himself let alone a nappy.

We spent the morning looking at houses, I think I've narrowed it down to 2 that we'll see again with DH on a weekend. One is right up the road from my parents but the garden is very small, the other is further away but has a big garden (and also is 20K above budget so we'd have to hope they'd be nice!)

I've read but don't have time to post - dc's are being fretful, L's a right mission at the mo and S is still gorgeous but won't bloody sleep.

Hello!

Another shit night again, awake every 2 hours.

I went for a walk this morning, its run by the baby group and knew everyone on it from various groups.

We didnt go far, it took an hour there and back but there was a hill in the middle and I nearly died. The group leader had to push the buggy for me while i held my sides and staggered up the hill.

DP is in bloody London again today, it takes him 2 hours to get home and he hasnt text me to let me know hes left so Im guessing a late one I hate hate hate doing the eve routine on my own.

Oh I didn't know that about Bonjela. Does nobody else use it then?

It looks like shit days all round. Sad

I made coffee cake with chocolate filling today, does anyone want some?

Spirael · 02/02/2011 19:24

I use Bonjela, WSS. I think it's the adult one that is reputed to burn, presumably if used in large amounts. I've been teething (wisdom teeth!) for the last decade and occasional use doesn't seem to have done me any harm. Wink

I do occasionally use the baby version on M if I suspect she's suffering with teeth movement, she seems to adore the taste of it (strange child). I very much doubt they'd be allowed to sell it and there'd be a lot more publicity if it was burning the mouths of babies. As long as you're only using a small amount occasionally then it's probably ok!

Incidentally, is M the only one who hasn't actually had a single tooth erupt yet? Confused

She can however join the 'Shit Club'; Four explosive nappies today. Shock

DesperateHousewife20 · 02/02/2011 19:30

yy hotgiggity I could just do with some cake, yum!

Dylan hasnt got any teeth yet either spirael he hasnt even shown any signs of teething.

It's 'lucky' if you manage to see one poo for J a day, let alone 3.

I think he's got a bit of constipation at the moment as he's done 3 tiny poops today, but lots of grunting.

TSC Congrats!!

Buy new 'size 10' business suits...

kkfairybrains · 02/02/2011 20:10

Well done! when's the next one?
i thought the same when i heard it that it couldn't be sold if that was the case but just said i'd pass on what she said!

we've had 3 poo's here both today and yesterday.

CakeandRoses · 02/02/2011 20:20

congrats on the 2nd interview tsc Grin

and even more so the tooth. I'm so fucking Envy

no tooth in sight for A yet altho she's teething to the max. Won't go down because apparently she needs to lie awake groaning and blowing raspberries as she exhales out of her toothless mouth Hmm

no molars in sight for F. Who also won't go down and is screaming his molarless head off.

re bonjela, i'd only heard the same as spirael re adult bonjela. perhaps there was only 1 formulation before that research and so they made a milder version for babies?

god i so need cake, hot g.

mlic please don't bite me and i'm no expert on these matters but do you think it might be worth trying another time re E's potty training? the only reason i say this is my step-mother used the 1 day method with both her boys and she said they were totally dry after a couple of days. i know with that method you do need to wait til they show signs of being totally ready for it tho.

i'd love some cake hg but think that dust is better for me!

congrats on the second interview tsc fingers crossed for you.

needle i think i've tried all the nappies out there but finally settled on tesco ultra dry as the only ones to not leak altho huggies are a close 2nd. my friend who insists her baby only wear designer clothes was also disgusted to agree tesco do the best nappies!

Dreya has cut her 2nd tooth through front one at the bottom i use anbesol liquid and the anbesol teething gel but have still only found one chemist to sell the gel and it must be strong as you can only use it 4 times a day.

Dreya's having her first photo shoot tomorrow so i'm hoping she's got a big smile on her face.
