I really want to take DD for swimming lessons but the £££ has always put me off Blush She loves just playing with the toys that they supply in the pool but i get the impression that she now wants to do more than just fill up buckets with a watering can for the whole time we are there. I must look into it again and make sure we have te ££ to pay for them. It'll do her the world of good!

Envy at your porky baby! :o

Loopy [whispers sheepishly] Would you still like to buy my Bamberoo? I was thinking about it today and think that it is silly to just stash it in my wardrobe to be unloved until i get grandchildren (if i get any!). I could hand it down to DD when she has kids but (a) it's a long way off (b) she may not want an old one (c) she might not even like babywearing! Silly to leave it collecting dust. I also have a lovely ring sling and the Natural Mamas wrap too (size 6 or 7 but cant remember which). First refusal to you if you're interested. [backs away quietly] :o

Hello all! I posted a message last week but have only just realised that, for whatever reason, it didn't post properly.

Bookmarking, but will be back to bore you all with my crappy week at work last week, but possibly another development too...

I haven't told anyone yet, not even dh....

I'm 5 days late. I'm never late. Think I'm in denial as with my pregnancies I 'knew' before I was late and had various symptoms which I haven't had BUT weird taste in mouth and (more upsetting) wine tastes disgusting!
I'm going to have to poas aren't I?

Need to buy a stick and need to tell dh. I am freaking out big time!

RGPargy · 27/06/2011 21:27

woohoo!! How exciting!!!! Do let us know ASAP what the result is!!!! :o

jetgirl · 27/06/2011 21:52

Am in denial! I meant to go into Boots today, I really did, but I couldn't do it. I think I can't quite believe I could be doing all that again. Part of me thinks that last week was such a stressful week for me so that might have affected me. I had an awful day at work on Thursday, spent much of it in tears and, at the time thought it was just because of the issue that had upset me, but over the weekend it dawned on me that I might have been emotional for a totally different reason Grin

I have a long day at work tomorrow but Wednesday off so will have to face the truth then. You ladies will know as soon as I have told DH. I think he might faint with shock Grin

jetgirl · 28/06/2011 21:00

Right, I've told DH and feel much better for having done so. I was up at 5:30 feeling sick and had 8 trips to the bathroom before going to work at 7:15. He couldn't work out what foods we had eaten differently, I had to really spell it out! Anyway, I made it through work feeling truly dire all day. Feel ready to test now, hopefully it will be the right result!

RGPargy · 28/06/2011 21:14

Wow, sounds very promising!!! I am so envious (in a nice way!) of all you ladies having more babies!! :o

littleoldme · 29/06/2011 19:03

Jet : Ohhh exciting. Do keep us poste! Sorry last week was rubbish for you.

Hope everyone is well. Just wanted to bob in and say hi X

jetgirl · 29/06/2011 19:19

Sad if I was pg, I'm not now. It's made DH and I realise that we do want another. I can't believe how upset I am, it's stupid. My lovely friend brought me three big bars of chocolate and some flowers. Dosing up on painkillers and planning on eating the chocolate later. Thanks for all your lovely thoughts.

RGPargy · 29/06/2011 22:17

Thanks ladies Smile
Despite feeling a bit nausaeus on Thursday I went to work, but was sent home by my line manager. I went to the gp as I was concerned about the amount of bleeding (sorry if tmi) and still feeling so rough. Gp was lovely, prescribed lots of rest and said it could just as well be a virus and late period or early pregnancy loss. Anyway, took Friday off too (slept for most of it and am feeling less drained now.

Quite enjoying the tennis this afternoon. I have to admit I want rafa to win because he's rather lovely to look at, but I have been impressed with Djokovic's play. William wants to know why I keep talking to Rafa!
