how fucking annoying tsc!

memphis poor you re dentist. hope hospital can do something.

just watched one born every minute, so odd after having watched the last series when pg!

i'm afraid i'm one of the annoying ones who loses weight bfing. am back ito all my pre preg clothes now.

wonderstuff · 11/01/2011 15:37

Oh tsc, hope you get a break soon! Not fair.

Anyone else a bit bored? Dylan has woken up every time i try to put him down today - I've been up and down stairs, tried lyng with him, ignoring him for a bit - but he just wants to be held and talked to all day, I'm finding myself longing to be back at work

DesperateHousewife20 · 11/01/2011 17:04

Ive just bought a pair of super skinny jeans, size 8 from Asos Grin

memphis83 · 11/01/2011 20:04

dh it seems with your last comment you have made your mumsnet friends run away and hide!

WhatSheSaid · 11/01/2011 20:21

Yeah, I'm ignoring that last comment dh (looks mournfully at approx 20 pairs of trousers I still can't fit in). I'm in the "don't seem to lose weight while bfing" camp - I don't know what I weigh as thankfully we don't have any scales but I have literally about 3 pairs of trousers I fit in and the other 20 or so I don't...it was the same with dd1, I didn't start losing weight till she was at least 6 months and I never got back to pre-pg weight...ah well, carrying a few extra kilos is not the worst thing in the world but I do have about 90% of my wardrobe just sitting there not being worn...

Lovely sunny day here and we're off to the beach. G still just waking once a night and wolfing down the solids now.

wonderstuff · 11/01/2011 20:30

WSS when I got pg with ds I chucked out all the clothes I hadn't got into since before I was pg with dd - I don't have a lot of clothes, but I do have some wardrobe space to fill..

Needle · 11/01/2011 20:55

Dh, are you short? Tell me you're short or i'm not talking to you any more...

WhatSheSaid · 11/01/2011 21:02

Yeah I thought about chucking stuff out wonderstuff but it was too sad throwing out some lovely tops that I just don't want to part with...

memphis83 · 11/01/2011 21:12

needle judging by photos im guessing dh isnt short, she looks tall, slim and pretty you know one of those girls who wear anything and look great.....oh wait so do you!!! excuse me i think i need to go into a dark room and cry!!! super skinny jeans wouldnt have fit me as a toddler let alone now sob sob sob :(

Needle · 11/01/2011 22:06

Memphis, its amazing what you can do with good posture and never breathing out. I'm 2 stone heavier than I was when I got pregnant. I used to be sooo obsessed with my appearance and these days I'm lucky if I brush my hair!

Just made my first baby puree- carrots with baby rice and breast milk. It's actually quite nice! Are carrots ok if she's 24 weeks old?

I went to take Gwen to be weighed today and got to the clinic to find all the staff standing around looking cross as a biohazzard truck pumped sewage out of the waiting room. Not nice.

Stac2011 · 11/01/2011 22:25

i really am going into a corner to cry i haven't had super skinny jeans since they were fashionable in the 90's i am about 4st overweight. I have so much to loose and really struggle due to an underactive thyroid and polycystic ovaries, not that i'm making excuses but its bloody hard work. You all look fab can't wait till its me x

kkfairybrains · 11/01/2011 22:52

Dh is definately not short!! another hottie! god i'm getting depressed now!
went back to slimming world this evening and i'm a pound heavier than i was when i first joined in september. Its kinda going the wrong way!! never went to it from aroumd november on and i can be sure that the damage was done at christmas! so back to it now and feeling rather enthusiastic for now!
Had the funeral this morning too it was so sad.
Carrots are fine needle. You can just puree them by themselves or with other veg and even thin it down with bm.

Needle · 11/01/2011 23:01

Thanks KK, in the end I added a tablespoon of baby rice and about 3 of bm to make a really smooth puree. God, this is going to be messy!

Stac2011 · 11/01/2011 23:12

you ok kk must have been so hard today

Stac2011 · 11/01/2011 23:47

meant to say please ignore my whinge about being fat just having a bloated day, sorry girls x

mlic hows w? Hope your ok x

DesperateHousewife20 · 12/01/2011 08:52

needle sorry, Im 5"8 Grin

Dylan has slipped back to his old ways, waking at 3am then every 1-2 hours til 8ish and I thought we were getting somewhere.
He did really love the pear I gave him yesterday though.

stac you're allowed to whinge away on here! Thats what we are here for :)

mlic I was going to ask, when W wakes up in the night do you give him a bottle and use the same one for a certain amount of time or do you make up a new one every time?

memphis83 · 12/01/2011 09:06

dh sorry you cant have everytthing perfect body, lovely dp that your about to marry AND a baby that sleeps Grin
needle when i was pregnant i cried as it was the 1st time since 15 i hadnt done myself a weekly pedicure, my mum did one for me, that was when i thought i had gone downhill, as my words then were if you cant take care of your feet then that speaks volumes, i also wouldnt leave house without full make up.....oh how silly i was Grin but who needs to brush their hair when hats are in fashion!

Stac2011 · 12/01/2011 09:10

aw thanks dh. The hv told me yesterday not to feed R everytime she wakes as thats why she's waking. So managed to hold out till 6.15 when she had 2oz and slept till 8 when she had breakfast. She did wake at 2,3,4 and 5 but i gave her a dummy instead which she took a few sucks of and spat out. I am hoping she realises shes getting no food and stops waking. She also advised R getting a supper before her last bottle so she has porridge.

Its a crap day today so we're staying in, anyone up to much?

mlic no wonder you have no energy! all ive done is wrap my e bay stuff for posting and dressed L!!
think i am going to start not giving L a bottle if he wakes up in night he proved over xmas that he doesnt need it, he is f***g constipated AGAIN!! the boy is on constant lactulose, and ive never seen a child eat so much fruit!!! hes on less milk now he only had one bottle between 6am and 8pm yesterday so he should be looser as its the milk that makes him bunged up!! the little nugget he did do smelt so bad it was like dog shit!!!
wonder how tsc is, saw on fb that they were at hospital last night

kkfairybrains · 12/01/2011 09:56

Go you mlic. Its tough when you're so tired but things still have to be done. That's when i start to feel down! Maybe try dvd later if your feeling any better
stac thanks yeah it was very sad. And to see 6 of his best friends walking with the mother as she has nobody else was heartbreaking. And whinge away we all have days like them!
Memphis you make me laugh Grin
tsc hope frankie is ok

CakeandRoses · 12/01/2011 10:15

mlic you're making me feel lazy with your industriousness! If you ever feel unappreciated by your DH then I'll marry you Wink I have a weekly cleaner who does the hoovering etc but I still seem to have a ton of housework on my to do list at any one time. Just takes forever to do the simplest things - e.g. have been meaning to phone the chimney sweep for over a week but can never find the time to dig out the number ffs Blush

I'm planning to sort out a load of random clutter that's accumulated behind a chair today. It has the weirdest collection of items behind it - e.g. an old tassimo machine which I have no idea what to do with - would a charity shop take it - oooh freecycle, maybe? Once the cleared the area will then have a strict 'no dumping' order placed on it henceforth!

to dh ** Grin

A slept thru from her dream feed but was up with wind again in the evening - wondering if its just air she's taking in whilst chewing everything with teething.

She ended up downstairs at 9.30pm which is very unusual and was a shame as I had a friend round for dinner (pizzas made with a Nigel Slater recipe for the dough - yum!) Mind you, my friend dotes on A so I think she was actually pleased to see her Smile

DesperateHousewife20 · 12/01/2011 10:20

cakes Grin

As if lol, there are bits of my body I hate but you'll all tell me Im being silly.

When D gets better Im going to give him formula for his last feed before bed.
Any suggestions for bottles/teats/formula?

memphis83 · 12/01/2011 10:24
