Thanks for those discounts chulita
i thought that too re Laura Ashley. I now think they're just bloody con artists
nixster I am sooo angry on your behalf about those dimwits. They've basically found a really archaic but not in any way funny word which has some similarity to your baby's name - how fucking juvenile. I'm sure they're wonderfully perfect people who have every right to judge your choice of name
Almost all names have something that can be twisted into a joke, if you're a tosser that way inclined. My in-laws weren't impressed by our children's names because of various pathetic reasons - too bad (for them).
I can't believe that you've had so much aggro from people who could be supporting you. Really hope you have some nice people around you to make up for it (of course you have the lovely Dreya to sniff, kiss, and squeeze
)
tsc stick with it, it might take a while to break frankie's vampiric habits.
something like your awful parka story happened to me. i had a sudden dramatic return of lochia a few weeks after A was born. twas literally running down to both ankles (i was wearing a dress)
weirdly the only change in my periods after felix is that they were pain-free whereas they used to cripple me. really hoping they stay that way when they come back this time.
this weekend, we've had a really lazy evening on the sofa watching a dvd (the bloom brothers - not bad) and scoffing chinese.
Tomo, we're getting the xmas tree (early as we're in yorks next weekend) and going to an antiques place to sort out a clock that dh bought me as a present last xmas which has never actually worked but he didn't take it back despite paying for a year's warranty. and he's recently told me how much it cost - £500 for a bloody clock which doesn't work!
so i'm now angry too.
sunday i'm really looking forward to as we're celebrating a belated thanksgiving with friends - none of us are american, we just try to celebrate as many random holidays as possible.
