spirael I like them all but 1st is my fave, thank you.

Your bleed does sound heavy. Mine were normal after felix. Perhaps mention it to someone. Probably nothing tho.

mlic c'mon woman, spit it out! //i know how to get on your nerves emoticon//

I have spots sprouting up like crazy now. I actually think I may have one that classifies as a boil. Tmi I know. Hormones - chill out, please.

Who else amongst the bf has restarted their periods?

Woodlands · 25/11/2010 22:28

no period here, though am on cerazette.

how frustrating mlic! hate it when that happens.

second night running of j being asleep by 7.30! bliss! the downside is that he has his long stretch of sleep while i'm awake and is then up every 2/3 hours for the rest of the night.

kkfairybrains · 25/11/2010 23:16

My vote is for the first one spireal thanks!
Mlic how bloody irritating!!!the laptop def would have went out the window if that were me!

stac14 · 25/11/2010 23:57

kk glad ellies better hun. Lucky you with new boots, cant wait to get new ones. Have you tried online for a coat?

spireal my af has been very heavy but i always have heavy ones, as cakes says may be worth mentioning

mlic hate when that happens, hope you manage to get something nice for tomorrow.

chulita happy birthday to dd for tomorrow, hope you's have a great day

cakes great news that f is settling back into a routine. Hope A goes back to normal soon R seems to have (i hope)

Are you sticking with GF tsc? I have a book i got free with a magazine, haven't managed to read it lol

Aurelia is playing silly buggers. Dh gave her the bedtime feed as I was out at my course, she then woke at 10pm for a feed - which has literally never happened - I may have disturbed her by coming upstairs. And she's just woken again now and is taking a proper feed.

I can't drink the camomile dh has made me in case I burn her and I have to drink it as I'm OCDish about that so a late one for me. The blasted creature is bound to wake again at some silly time of the morning.

I think this one's gone bad too :-( Should I contact the manufacturer?

//whispers "gina will get you" into her shell-like//

Chulita · 26/11/2010 07:16

Another vote for the 1st title.

So, L's birthday today Grin no party though cos we don't know anyone but she's too young to notice. We're going to make her a cake later.

memphis glad you're feeling a bit better, hope Lyndon settles with his teeth.

mlic how are you not panicking? I've got one of dh's christmas do's to go to next week and I'm a bit worried seeing as I'm a dress size bigger than all my party clothes.

spirael your periods can change after having a baby. Mine were hugely heavy before dd and got quite light afterwards. I've not got mine back yet after S but if you're worried you could ask someone.

cake welcome to the dark side Grin Hope A gets back to her usual annoyingly sleepy self soon!

stac have fun at bounce and rhyme!

needle hope G calms down for you soon so you can get back on mn :)

Ok, dh gave S a couple of ounces at 10pm, S woke at 3 and had one boob then at 6.30 woke for the day and hasn't fed. The sleep aspect is brilliant cos that never, ever happens but my one boob is a boulder cos he hasn't fed off it since 7pm. Everytime I try and coax boob to mouth he turns away and I'm desperate to feed...freaking babies eh?! Anyhoo, it was awful at the parents'. S was up every 1.5-2 hours as usual and I couldn't let him cry for long cos he'd wake everyone up and he was up every morning at 5am so I was shattered! Still, it was worth it, I took my parents back to have a look at the house I love and they really like it too. It's under offer so we need to decide how much we can offer and trump them. I've already moved in mentally so I'll be gutted if we can't buy it! [silly cow emoticon] We're buying cash though so that should be a boost to our offer right? [grasps at straws]

Have a lovely day everyone, I'm off to decide how big to make dd's cake Grin

DesperateHousewife21 · 26/11/2010 08:29

stac no snow down here, its about 2 degrees today.

Dylan wouldnt go in his cot at all last night, woke up crying every time I put him down. I tried 3 times, I know I should have kept going but I was sitting on the edge of the bed feeding him to sleep and I was cold and tired.
Our thermometer said 15.4 degrees in our room so Im wondering if he was too cold.

He woke alot in the night too, dont know what times I didnt look at the clock but it felt like 5am and then every hour after that.

Got the breastfeeding group at 10 and this afternoon hoping to see my mum, need to ring her but I dont know if its too early for her lol.

Interesting thread with some really fuck-stupid views (e.g. you're a whore if you're a sahm and expect money from DH Angry):

cakes read a bit of the thread. Companies are rubbish when it comes to a complaint by the customer even though in the initial emails they insist 'we take all complaints very seriously'
Im still waiting to hear back from birds eye about the maggot I found in my frozen peas.
I sent them the maggot last week (I know it will take longer than a week though)

nixster28 · 26/11/2010 19:49

Tried to post last night but wouldn?t let me.

Stac I spoke to bro and the racist remarks have stopped so far but now his wife?s parents have decided to take the piss out of Dreya?s name!! Arseholes! Apparently and feel free to confirm this; a dray is a beer delivery or it was years ago when the beer was delivered by horse and cart!!!!! I tell them they?re dicks and not to take the piss out of my baby and I?m just staying out of their way now

I?ve had about 7 periods already since july!!! And they?re the worst ever. Considering I used to go months without one before due to PCOS I suffer so badly now it feels like I?m paying it back now

Hey i wish i was a whore in that i had a hubby/fella to come home and give me money. trouble is then i might have to tolerate said man for more than an evening and then i would have to kill him! oh well singlehood it is then

Chulita · 26/11/2010 20:26

nixster you're well shot of them, what a bunch of idiots. That is the definition of 'dray' but that's not what your little girl's called - they obviously are so small-minded that they can't think of anything else to say. (I always think Lucy could be 'loo seat' and Samson sounds like 'samsung' so every name has some other interpretation if you're that stupid)

Anyone want some money off codes? got 20% off mothercare (again) DLFR
or ELC DRUMX1M
or Ocado £15 off 1st delivery if spending over £75 Hmm WOU8675328
Help yourselves.

Just had one of those big swoops around the living room to tidy up. The kitchen's still a mess but I cannot be bothered to clean that up.

cake hope you get some resolution, I thought LA were supposed to be quality.

stac14 · 26/11/2010 22:45

nixster i put a thread on here asking what people thought of rileigh and basically got called thick and a chav so feck what anyone else thinks, idiots. I'm the same as you with periods due to pcos, do you follow a particular diet? I am sick of being a fatty so bought rosemary connellys low gi diet book, just waiting for it to come

I must be a whore then lmao what a stupid view, if thats the case then dp must have been 1 to cause i was breadwinner previously, must have a read.

OP posts:
CakeandRoses · 26/11/2010 23:18

Thanks for those discounts chulita

i thought that too re Laura Ashley. I now think they're just bloody con artists

nixster I am sooo angry on your behalf about those dimwits. They've basically found a really archaic but not in any way funny word which has some similarity to your baby's name - how fucking juvenile. I'm sure they're wonderfully perfect people who have every right to judge your choice of name Hmm

Almost all names have something that can be twisted into a joke, if you're a tosser that way inclined. My in-laws weren't impressed by our children's names because of various pathetic reasons - too bad (for them).

I can't believe that you've had so much aggro from people who could be supporting you. Really hope you have some nice people around you to make up for it (of course you have the lovely Dreya to sniff, kiss, and squeeze Smile)

tsc stick with it, it might take a while to break frankie's vampiric habits.

something like your awful parka story happened to me. i had a sudden dramatic return of lochia a few weeks after A was born. twas literally running down to both ankles (i was wearing a dress) Blush

weirdly the only change in my periods after felix is that they were pain-free whereas they used to cripple me. really hoping they stay that way when they come back this time.

this weekend, we've had a really lazy evening on the sofa watching a dvd (the bloom brothers - not bad) and scoffing chinese.

Tomo, we're getting the xmas tree (early as we're in yorks next weekend) and going to an antiques place to sort out a clock that dh bought me as a present last xmas which has never actually worked but he didn't take it back despite paying for a year's warranty. and he's recently told me how much it cost - £500 for a bloody clock which doesn't work! Angry so i'm now angry too.

sunday i'm really looking forward to as we're celebrating a belated thanksgiving with friends - none of us are american, we just try to celebrate as many random holidays as possible.
