Hey everyone,

Back from the baby groups now, stac if there is a baby massage in your area I def recommend it, its very relaxing (for both of you!) and the babies all seemed to like it.

After baby massage finished I went in the room next door which was "little ones" (baby group for under 1's) and was there til half 3, then went to tesco so have had a busy day.

Needle · 04/11/2010 16:43

Oops, I may have oversold the sleepy powder. I just meant the Johnson's bedtime powder, in the bottle with the purple too.

Needle · 04/11/2010 16:45

Yes, thank you to everyone who translated for me!

stac14 · 04/11/2010 17:18

memphis please go see the doc hun until you address anxiety the panic attacks will keep happening. I suffered from them and still do its not nice hun.

Lol needles i use sleepytime bath wash but didnt know they did a sleepy talc

I definately want to do baby massage dh will check the net tonight, is there stuff you'll use at home?

Lo got her jags she had real tears poor soul but at least thats the last lot till shes 1. Shes a bit grumpy and tired so i'm just letting her do what she wants for the night back to routine tomorrow. On the subject of undercarraiges jacks was his choochoo and girls bits is a flower lol X

memphis I really think you should push your GP to help or your HV, I can't believe after all you've told them they're still not taking any action.
needles I'm gutted it's not magic sleepy dust Wink I suppose I'll still be on the 3-4 night feeds tonight then!
stac glad R's had all her jabs, S hasn't even had his first round yet :(

DesperateHousewife21 · 04/11/2010 19:31

stac its a 4 weeks course where I am and today we did massage of the legs and feet, she gave us a small bottle of oil (but you can use any natural oil i.e sunflower, vegetable etc) she also gave us a sheet of how to do the massage so we can do it at home, its easy to remember though and very easy to do. I think we are doing the tummy next week Grin

mlic no defo not your name on the site

tsc its always the bloody same, one thing goes then so does other stuff. Omg no wonder frankie is 17lbs you must be knacked, saw your statement on fb was there really a rat on your road? hate those things

well done woods thats a great weight, bet your relieved he is getting better

Dp has a cold, I bet I get it so cant be doing with being unwell. Going to baby cinema tomorrow with becky and violet hopefully it will be good all Rileigh wants to do is stare at the TV so I'm sure she will be fine. x

mlic Chill, woman! You are funny! It doesn't/can't work like that. When you're looking at amazon then it uses your login details/cookies whereas if we do then it uses ours - so we see our own name in place of yours.

How's things today? E's chest any better? There's deffo something going round as F's little friend has now got a chest infection too - altho that doesn't actually make any sense because it's not catching!

Jeez tsc it's always like that in this house - if one thing goes then we're just waiting for some other ratting thing to explode too.

memphis sorry to nag you but the GP definitely sound like the best bet. Don't give it the chance to get any worse.

mlic Dylan was awake every 2 hours, seriously its like having a newborn again!
That girl wasnt at the group on Wed and as it was the last session Im not sure Ill see her again, unless she comes to breastfeeding group today but Im not holding my breath.

My mum is looking after Dylan for a couple of hours tomoro so I can have a wax (eek!) and lunch with DP which will be luuurvly! (secretly hoping DP will propose but not holding my breath for that either!)

Dear god, mlic that is what is known by experts as a 'fuck-awful' night. You poor thing. Any chance of getting some time off over the weekend so you can rest?

Do you still swaddle? I'm still religiously swaddling A - in fact I often have to so she'll calm down enough for her bedtime feed.

Apparently with chest infections, the cough outlasts the infection - that's definitely happened with me so probably the same with E.

tsc oh what a shame. I know how you feel as I couldn't (or wouldn't) leave F until after I'd fed him and put him to bed til I weaned him at 14months. It wasn't so bad tho once he'd go down and stay down from 7.30pmish.

I guess there's a chance that frankie might resort to taking some if you weren't there but it's understandable you don't want to go out and take the risk. Could you go out and leg it back if it all goes to shit?

Today we're off to a local petting farm with another mother with two the same age. Later we're going to a fireworks display with dh and friends with their dd then back to ours for baked potatoes, cups of soup then home-made parkin cake. Yum!
