Pert - I am sure about the 'as always' but thank you.

Ladies I am off to bed ;) Tweaky - please call if you need anything ( I know I am miles away but hey it's worth a try :))and I will be back on duty at about 7am tomorrow :)

longwayfromhome · 12/08/2010 22:52

oooooh, still very excited and a bit emotional too. She would arrive on DS's birthday, which is a really great date. Thinking of you loads.

PS if you want someone to come down and sort out your DH, while ALBS is away I have heard that cyteen is quite good at saying things how they are

PPS queenie - I will be in E.Sussex on September 19th, with family, and so thank you for the birthday invitation, and sorry to be rubbish, but my reply is maybe. Not sure if we will be travelling down in a day, or staying overnight, which would be easier, nicer because we could come and see you too, but a bit stressful for the babies as they would be away from home, and we have has a lot of change recently, but I would love to come (getting in the meet ups while I can) - why do you need a definite reply by?

PPPS I will probably be back down in London early September as well, and so could maybe meet some of the lovely London ladies then?

PPPPS dizzy so you are the cupcake lady of mumsnet then?

Hello all!

tweakers · 12/08/2010 22:52

night oops

DH just been upstairs. to check on me? maybe. who knows. anyhow, end of conversation is of course he's here to support me, his priorities are not skewed and apparently i'm just upset and hormonal about him doing things he wants to do.

still haven't told him about my show

longwayfromhome · 12/08/2010 22:54

night tweakers

longwayfromhome · 12/08/2010 22:55

off topic, I have been meaning to ask for ages whether you can tell if your DC are left or right handed. DS looks like he will definitely be a leftie.

tweakers · 12/08/2010 22:57

lwfh... (still weird having you in our time zone!) i was just saying night to oops, i'll be here for a little while yet

as for left or right handed...i've been wondering exactly the same thing!

longwayfromhome · 12/08/2010 23:01

yes, it's nice not to miss the bed-time chat.

So, are you busy or do you fancy a quick game of connect 4 or hangman before I go to bed?

longwayfromhome · 12/08/2010 23:02

clearly not very good at talking about emotions here as a I offer to play connect 4 with the lady who is about to give birth.

I would go for a hearty handshake rather than a hug every time.

tweakers · 12/08/2010 23:02

sounds good but how? have you got very long arms?

longwayfromhome · 12/08/2010 23:03

but sorry for all the waffle, sending you lots of love and support (and did I ever mention that DH's version of nesting when I told him that I was in labour was to go and make sure that the car was full of petrol)

tweakers · 12/08/2010 23:04

hey, connect 4 sounds like fab idea...just wondering how we do it though!

longwayfromhome · 12/08/2010 23:04

o o o o o o o
o o o o o o o
o o o o o o o
o o o o o o o
o o o o o o o
o o o 1 o o o

use a different number for you, and delete the o where you want to put it.

tweakers · 12/08/2010 23:05

just off for a wee...if i don't come back to play it means my waters broke!

longwayfromhome · 12/08/2010 23:08

Being in labour. Not an excuse at all! I have to warn you that I am very good at connect 4 indeed.

longwayfromhome · 12/08/2010 23:15

8 minutes for a wee. ooooh, how exciting. sorry for not waiting any longer. Off to bed here. night night.

Hope all is well. Lots of thoughts.

tweakers · 12/08/2010 23:19

lwfh...tis ok, i forgive you! wasn't anything excting delaying me...we'd run out of toilet paper upstairs so i had to go down to get some!

cyteen · 12/08/2010 23:26

Hey tweakers, a quick thought before I head to bed: I have a friend who has three boys, and the littlest one was born at home (in the bath Grin). Her older two were in the house throughout and she still speaks so fondly of the whole thing as an amazing, positive experience. She said her older two loved running in and out of the bathroom, checking up on her, and then meeting their new youngest brother as he began his life :) So don't worry too much if DS ends up at home with you.

All love x One way or another, I hope tonight is a good night for you Wink

tweakers · 12/08/2010 23:57

thanks cyteen Smile

tweakers · 12/08/2010 23:59

oh and DH and I are friends again. Smile

TwilightSurfer · 13/08/2010 00:53

Tweakers if it's any consolation I'm having horrible AF cramps as this evening is the first time I've been able to relax since Sunday. As everything unknots the cramping unfolds as well. Very strange. I had no idea I was so wound up. Anyway it made to think that I could be channeling your pain and that's why you're comfortable at the moment. If so, enjoy.Smile

Tweakers glad you and DH made up - no reason not to get tweaking now Grin.

DS was born the afternoon I had my show (although I was induced). But you never know could be a Friday 13th baby after all! Tis a lucky number here anyway - as I'm sure Red and LWFH would agree.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY E & T

Tsk tsk TS you're slipping! IN the UK the little girl would have to be born in September to have those stats as we do ddmmyy not mmddyy as you do.
