Are you fucking kidding me??

expatinscotland · 10/05/2010 15:39

well, that's the end of the lib dem party getting any seats in the future.

EnchantedWithGordon · 10/05/2010 15:39

"The outline of a deal is there but the party hierarchies now have to go back to their MPs and put the deal to them.

sonot a 'done' deal yet.

Hopefully the MPs will oppose it.

FrakkedUpTheElection · 10/05/2010 15:40

BBC World were just saying they were very close - but it needs to go to the parties. It's not really an agreement, more an outline of what they're taking back to their parties.

There are still ongoing negotiations with Labour!

EnchantedWithGordon · 10/05/2010 15:40

Nick Clegg has fucked up royally, he has lost any credability IMO and a hell of a lot of Lib Dem supporters will turn to Labour after this.

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 10/05/2010 15:40

Well, sky says a lot of things...

Is it just me or are DC and NC looking more and more physically alike every day?

ASecretLemonadeDrinkerDAVE · 10/05/2010 15:42

Woooooooo. Darn TV not working, after staying up all Thursday night bar 3 hours, watching all day Friday I now cannot get any info except what the websites update and even then my internet is playing up God bless MN

EnchantedWithGordon · 10/05/2010 15:42

tired lady i said that yesterday, and i also concluded it was because of witchcraft.

expatinscotland · 10/05/2010 15:43

Because of Clegg, I have no choice but to vote our present MP out at the next election, and sadly he's near retirement.

He's proven himself a power-hungry snake in the grass and his party will get all he has coming.

whomovedmychocolate · 10/05/2010 15:44

Predictable and disappointing.

If I wanted Shinybollockface as PM I would have voted for him!

Coolfonz · 10/05/2010 15:44

Witchcraft - quite possibly.
Some horrible genetic experiment resulting in evil alien twins, also a possibility

GetOrfMoiLand · 10/05/2010 15:49

Lib Dems - a waste of space.

They will not get reform under the tories. It will be put on the backburner.

Clegg has burnt his bridges with the left.

His party is not even considered that much of a good thing by anyone (with any power)anyway.

Roll on the next election.

Coolfonz · 10/05/2010 15:49

It's the best thing for the war criminals though. They just ditch the PM, wait for the next election...

TheLadyOfTheGreenKirtle · 10/05/2010 15:50

And thus ends the party formerly known as the liberal democrats.

FFS, I cant believe that I thought the lib dems werean alternative, had ideals. same old, same old. back to labour for me then

DuelingFanjo · 10/05/2010 15:50

what expatinscotland said

Clegg must surely know that his party are going to lose a shitload of votes next election.
