UKIP. I'm voting for them. This is why;

UKIP want us out of the EU, I love Europe can't stand the EU.We pay 40 million a day to them
1)72% of our laws are now made in Brussells, from fuel taxes, farming, fishing and immigration.
2)We pay £40 million a day to be in the EU.
3)The Two richest countries in Europe-Norway and Switzerland are not even in the EU.
4)Under labour we now have 3.5 million extra people living in this country. We need proper border controls. Nick Cleggs policy is to count people in and out of the country, and force them to work in 'regions' totally unworkable. UKIP would keep our proud tradition of helping genuine asylum seekers.
5)UKIP does not appear to be anti-christian as do the other parties. The labour parties spin doctor Alistair Campbell said they "don't do God!" I do.
6)UKIP believes in holding referendums for the electorate on key local and international issues. I like this.
7)Crime is now out of contol, UKIP would build more prisons. Last but not least, Lord Pearson (leader) is 'posh' and does not try to hide it.

tick tock tick tock goes the clock crystal

you've not understood what Heathen said to you, either deliberately or by accident of intelligence.

I'm sure none of us have the energy to spell it out for you again. I know I don't.

LG - I was once left alone on a thread with a continuum parenting guru. Another odd moment. We couldn't think of anything to say to each other. I think I offered her tea.

HUNDREDTIMES Heathen has not made any case to me. I've said what I feel is the truth and you've tried to dismantle it. So what! wonder if you've got the balls to argue any toss, with anyone. My mission is complete.

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 27/04/2010 15:51

Your mission by any criteria has been a total disaster!

And she did. You just haven't understood what she said. That's different.

ahundredtimes · 27/04/2010 15:53

The other odd thing I've noticed on this thread is the

ner ner ner ner

thing. Lincstash did it too. I've won, I've won because, well, because I said I have. Ner ner ner ner.

I find that weird too

crystal123 · 27/04/2010 15:53

TO ALL I'm so glad this issue of UKIP has rattled your cages for so long, I'm so pleased it's out there!

OP posts:
PinkoLiberal · 27/04/2010 15:54

Wow Crystal you got nasty didn't you

Well FWIW I grew up in a really deprived area, I live on an income part made up of benefits (ie my DH works but I am carer) and I still think you have crap political beliefs

Even if you like UKIP one type of policy cannot cut it. I just got off an autism forum where people had to tick which party would support people with autism. Votes were fairly divided between big 3; you know how many UKIP got? none

So why on earth would I vote for them, even if I were mildly racist / xenophobic?

And why would I want my kids thinking I condone Nigel Farrage's level of manners either come too that? They may be autistic but I still expect better.

noddyholder · 27/04/2010 15:55

Ooer we are all rattled

ahundredtimes · 27/04/2010 15:55

LOL

well, I guess you're going to have to scrape together whatever kind of dignity you can at the end of all this crystal. Even if it is a pretend delight in managing to spread the message - whereas in fact all you've done is make UKIP look completely mad.

I have to say it's a pretty raggedy desperate kind of effort at dignity though

Have fun in Australia!

crystal123 · 27/04/2010 15:57

959 posts. This OP is the highest on the politics arena on MN debates. So yes I'm well pleased!

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 27/04/2010 15:58

Why? Why is a load of posts telling you you're basically talking crap a success in your book?

Is it a kind of attention-seeking pleasure?

PinkoLiberal · 27/04/2010 16:01

Crystal look at teh threads that ahve reached that number in the past

Generally they are kick off threads

And almost always involving daftpunk I would place a bet

MN is full of women who lilke to be aprt of the fight against prattledom and it's piltiical extensions: that does not equate a success, mor that people see UKIP and think- really? What an easy target and pile in.

ooojimaflip · 27/04/2010 16:02

crystal - you do know that when it get's to a 1000 posts no one will be able to post on it so it will drift down the list never to be seen again?

elliemental · 27/04/2010 16:03

I take it all you fervently Christian patriots will not be celebrating this weekend then?
May Day. or erm, as it is sometimes called Labour Day
All that pre-christian imagery, all that veneration of the penis....
Hope you ll have an enjoyable weekend, however you choose to spend it.
Unless you're a morris dancer of course. I have no truck with the likes of them!

ahundredtimes · 27/04/2010 16:05

noooo! She cries. It was my great political victory! Lots of people told me I couldn't think or argue straight. I pretended not to hear them! I bought a watch! I ate a curry! It was my moment in the sun! Don't deny me my fame!

noddyholder · 27/04/2010 16:11

Crystal you are becoming quite comical and even giving DP a run for her money in the laughable dept Well done!

PinkoLiberal · 27/04/2010 16:11

Does Christian patriot ahve to be a bad thing?

I am a Christian of the 'Quaker' ilk. I don't give a damn about where someone grew uyp or what they beleive or do sexually... caouldn't care a jot.

I am a patriot in that I am proud of teh good things about my country of birth.

Mind you if you called me a Christian PAtiot I;d be thinking nastiness and thinly veiled xenophobia- that's a sad thing isn't it? Like the wat the BNP stole the Union Flag and amde it their emblem. hate that.

sungirltan · 27/04/2010 16:24

so crystal - i've postred a link to definitions of brit culture. no evidence of oppresion then?

Fliight · 27/04/2010 16:27

I like the way that every single 'point' the OP made on this thread has been systematically torn to shreds but loads of people.

Very satisfying to read.

I think that's MN:970, UKIP:0

sungirltan · 27/04/2010 16:32

come on crystal- tell me how creams teas will be baned imminently because they offend immigrants!!

crystal123 · 27/04/2010 17:13

FLIGHT you ignoramous! read through the posts, some agree with me. Having posted here shows what I have alreadys suspected about some liberals: Ignorant, bigoted and act like a pack of animals.( That is why the Liberals have been out of power for over 100 years!!) Long may it stay that way! (Lord of the flies comes to mind). But never mind at least it's got nearly a 1000 posts positive or otherwise.

OP posts:
PinkoLiberal · 27/04/2010 17:19

Do you think Crystal?

See IO think of Liberals as a sort of middle ground between Socialist and New RIght, and as the other parties seem to be far more crowded around the middle ground you could argue that we're all Liberals now

of course that is just my uneducated (taking an MA) Middle Class (council estate reared) opinion, natch.

At 1000 posts this thread slowly vanishes, as nobody can possibly bump it up. the MN way of course is to get threads that peopel really dislike to 1000 posts for that very purpose. Hmm, wonder if there is a connection....
