UKIP want us out of the EU, I love Europe can't stand the EU.We pay 40 million a day to them
1)72% of our laws are now made in Brussells, from fuel taxes, farming, fishing and immigration.
2)We pay £40 million a day to be in the EU.
3)The Two richest countries in Europe-Norway and Switzerland are not even in the EU.
4)Under labour we now have 3.5 million extra people living in this country. We need proper border controls. Nick Cleggs policy is to count people in and out of the country, and force them to work in 'regions' totally unworkable. UKIP would keep our proud tradition of helping genuine asylum seekers.
5)UKIP does not appear to be anti-christian as do the other parties. The labour parties spin doctor Alistair Campbell said they "don't do God!" I do.
6)UKIP believes in holding referendums for the electorate on key local and international issues. I like this.
7)Crime is now out of contol, UKIP would build more prisons. Last but not least, Lord Pearson (leader) is 'posh' and does not try to hide it.

Hundredtimes. " laze about all day" This practice does not effect other people, unless your deliberately not working and are on the dole.....or if you're coolfonz lying about in the nude, then that would really be the limit.

It's true, I am a woman...hope that's ok

Lincs is a man, and CF....

If you are only bothered about the financial effects of immigration then what is your problem?

Immigration has a possitive net fiscal contribution.

jodevizes · 25/04/2010 16:52

A plague on all their houses. Which ever set of lies you happen to swallow it will be more or less the same now, as Britain is run from Brussels and Whitehall and the political party in No.10 is just window dressing.

We are all going to get taxed up to the hilt who ever gets in.

bidibidi · 25/04/2010 17:23

I love the fact that Crystal has said that she's going to Oz because they have 2 hour lunch breaks.

I wonder how much success she'll have being accepted by the locals with that attitude.

"I am involved with my local Liberal Democraty party and I have done a lot of canvassing in the past few weeks. I spoke to one bloke who said "I ain;t voiting for the Lib Dems, because it's a wasted vote". I asked him who he was voting for and he said "UKIP". I tried v hard not to laugh at him."

The bloke makes sense. Voting for any one of the mainstream parties is a waste of time because hardly anything will change. We are ruled by Brussels. You might as well not bother to vote at all.

"Our local UKIP bloike is a nut job. He is currently polluting driving round Bath in an old car from the 20s."

A nut job? What about the entire Liberal Democrat party who make the most nutty and unrealistic statements on the European Union. Like, Liberal Democrats will "Replace the Common Agricultural Policy with a new policy that strengthens agriculture ensures fair trade for farmers and delivers sustainable development of the countryside."

And their campaign to have the Strasbourg parliament scrapped. Shame they supported the Lisbon Treaty which reaffirms the rights of the City to have the parliament meet their 12 times a year. The carbon emissions from those little jaunts dwarf any old classic car's.

They might as well say the tooth fairy is on her way!

"I amd liking UKIP atm, purely on the basis that they have caused the first split in the right for years and they are taking votes from the Tories (who are the biggest threat to our vg sitting LD MP)"

They also take votes from other parties. Patriotism and wanting the country to be free to set its own laws is not the sole preserve of the right. Don't get complacent.

crystal123 · 25/04/2010 20:27

Bidibidi. I'm not one to criticise the culture of the country, it's their country! if they want 4 hour booze breaks it's up too them!

shannigan. ref. 'possitive net fiscal contribution' immigration into this country only brings in 30p per person, and that's according to the government! So please, you're not fooling anyone!.

Hi, anyone know if the email i was sent recently is correct. I haven't put this on to cause offence, am genuinely interested in the truth.

Bedfordshire Police?s rules regarding terrorists and dangerous criminals

If they?re non-Muslim

? Consider the most opportune time of day to be able to arrest suspects with minimum resistance
? Apply all necessary force to enter the premises and arrest suspects accordingly.

If they?re Muslim:

? Community leaders must be consulted before raids into Muslim houses.
? Officers must not search occupied bedrooms and bathrooms before dawn.
? Use of police dogs will be considered serious desecration of the premises.
? Cameras and camcorders should not be used in case capturing women in inappropriate dress.
? If people are praying at home officers should stand aside and not disrupt the prayer. They should be allowed the opportunity to finish.
? Officers should take their shoes off before raiding a Muslim house.
? The reasons for pre-dawn raids on Muslim houses needs to be clear and transparent.
? Officers must not touch holy books or religious artefacts without permission.
? Muslim prisoners should be allowed to take additional clothing to the station.

With this continuing appeasement, no wonder it?s now predicted that
Britain will become an Islamic state by 2070.
(Time to think about your children.)

crystal123 · 25/04/2010 20:52

Hundredtimes. I did'nt say immigrants are looking for charity. I said this country and others are not charities. Whether immigration from within the EU or ouside the EU it all has the same effect. As I said before it impacts on all the areas housing, hospitals, education and most of all on social cohesion. We have now seen many punch ups, riots etc, by those who feel the country is under threat, and those who oppose the people who feel the country it is under threat. Social unrest is coming, and unless the government/governments' get a handle on all immigration, the unrest will get worse.

I'm not trying to fool anyone. I thought that your objections were financial and as we are richer, not poorer as a nation due to immigration I didn't understand your objection.

If not financial, what is your objection to immigration?

Lulumaam · 25/04/2010 20:59

fields of barley, that is absolute rubbish designed to scaremonger people about the islamification of the UK

i wonder also, how many riots etc were started by the NF, EDL, BNP etc....

like there was no civil unrest before immigration

daftpunk · 25/04/2010 21:44

No problem crystal...tbh I'm not your average women (certainly not your average m'netter)...

...I can take my conversation hard and fast...

crystal123 · 25/04/2010 23:03

shannaigan. We are not richer due to immigration. The only people to 'get rich'are big business, who employ foreign workforces, undercut the British workers and pay the foreigners/immigrants peanuts. Why do you think big business wants an open door policy?, it is not so that the poverty stricken in Dagenham can get a council house, it's so they can make more pofits. The poor, don't benefit from immigration, far from it, they are the ones fighting for housing, have to send their children to schools, were some 90% of the children don't speak english as their mother tongue and the teacher has to get them to understand the basics before even teaching. The poor are the ones who HAVE to use the NHS, and stay on waiting lists for months. Jack Straw a lying bxxstd if ever there was one, always bleats on about multi-culturalism, sucks up to all kin and sundry, loves europe etc, and where does he live? near Witney in Oxfordshire, where there isn't a foreigner in site! ALL main parties are hypocrtical nimbys. They want votes and don't care how they get them, to the detriment of this country.

You can't have it both ways, either we have more money due to the tax contributions or we don't. You have said that we do. The govenment says we do. We do.

I am an NHS user and I have dcs in school. Why should I be ashamed about using services that I pay for through tax? When you go to Australia you will be entitled to use their subsidised school and health service so why shouldn't our migrants benefit from a system that they are paying into.

If our migrants have to come home then we are exchanging a fit and healthy workforce with a load of aging baby boomers. Where is the sense in that?

If you have a problem with the minimum wage or with the lack of council house building then those are different issues. Most people think that the minimum wage should be increased to a 'living wage' and most people think that the building of social housing should have been escalated when right to buy was introduced. Do you really think that the UKIP nimbys want to build loads of social housing and increase pay. Sounds more like a left wing policy than extreme right.

The NHS has a huge reliance on foreign worker and always has. In some areas 70%+ of GPs are migrant workers. We have a history of Irish nurses going back to the birth of the NHS. How exactly are the white indiginous population going to get a better service when NHS workers are sent home?

Its not just big business that benefits from having a reliable workforce. Lots of small and medium size buisnesses couldn't survive if there workforce was removed and replaced with a load of work shy dole wallowers. You are not allowed to pay migrant workers less than indiginous workers you know. If people won't do menial work for minimum wage then thats a broader social problem with a solution that is more complex than xenophobic scapegoating.

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 26/04/2010 09:26

crystal - "Most countries have a points based system for immigration and there is a reason. They don't just want 'anyone' turning up on there doorstep"

The UK also has a points-based system for immigration.

Glad you really took the time to inform yourself before coming out with all this crap about mass, uncontrolled immigration.

And you've also learned on this thread that only UK and Commonwealth citizens can vote in the general election (not even EU nationals working here).
So MN is an education for you, no? Glad to be of assistance.

crystal123 · 26/04/2010 10:30

Shannanugan. 'Migrants paid into' I've been asked to go to these countries, I have not imposed myself on them from going there illegally or therwise. Even if you are here legally and the EU is the biggest contributor to the immigration explosion, it does not make sense to have an immigration policy that allows millions to settle here, this is a small Island we are the most over populated country in Europe to our size.
When the other countries succeed in their candidacy to join Europe we will have the following countries joining. Populations in millions, unless otherwise stated. Turkey
72.5 croatia]4.4 Macedonia2.05 Albania3.5 Montenegro 0.6 Serbia 7.7 Bosnia@@Hezegovina 3.8 Kosovo3.5 Ukraine47.1 Belarus 9.8 Moldova 3.3. The total populations of these countries are over 156 million, even if only a fraction of these people came to our shores, it would run in the millions of people wishing to settle here and use our services. That does not take into account the impact on our social and cultural identity, history and heritage, that mass immigration would make.
Mass immigration on this scale has, and will be cultural suicide. This country should be out of the EU, in fact we should never have been conned by Ted Heath into joining, and then we would not be discussing this topic.
