1)72% of our laws are now made in Brussells, from fuel taxes, farming,fishing and immigration.
2)We pay £40 million a day to be in the EU.
3)The Two richest countries in Europe-Norway and Switzerland are not even in the EU.
4)Under labour we now have 3.5 million extra people living in this country. We need proper border controls. Nick Cleggs policy is to count people in and out of the country, and force them to work in 'regions' totally unworkable. UKIP would keep our proud tradition of helping genuine asylum seekers.
5)UKIP does not appear to be anti-christian as do the other parties. The labour parties spin doctor Alistair Campbell said they "don't do God!" I do.
6)UKIP believes in holding referendums for the electorate on key local and international issues. I like this.
7)Crime is now out of contol, UKIP would build more prisons. Last but not least, Lord Pearson (leader) is 'posh' and does not try to hide it.

I think you'll find that illegal immigrants are not using public services to any great degee.

What do you mean 'illeagally or otherwise'? Surely 'otherwise' would be legally. When you emmigrate then you will be going legally. When people legally migrate here, they are coming legally. You are imposing yourself (or not) just as much as a foreign legal migrant is imposing herself here.

So Australian companies are allowed to ask british workers to work for them but you think British companies shouldn't be allowed this competative advantage?

I am self employed. I don't see anything wrong with not being headhunted despite your clumsy attempt to insult me.

I do have family who live abroad after being either headhunted or transfered by their company to other offices and I don't see anything wrong with that. I just think that British based companies should also be able to fill their skills shortages with migrant workers too. If you think they shouldn't, I think its hypocritical of you to say its ok for foreign based businesses to do it.

Another myth that fascists and racists come out with, one that has been parroted by a lot of the centre right - like Labour MPs even - is that immigration undercuts wages. Idiocy, but a useful distraction for banking and corporate power.

I deal daily with economists from the biggest companies in the UK, it's a basic fact in their neo-liberal economic ideology that markets cannot function without slack, without extra idle capacity.

So in the employment market there is what is called natural or structural unemployment levels, around 5-7pc of the workforce.

So if you have 30mn jobs then you need unemployment around 1.5mn to make the market function correctly.

If you sent every Jew, black person, Asian, Irish and continental European immigrant 'back home' you wouldn't have extra jobs, all that would happen is the economy would shrink. So instead you would have 25mn jobs and 1.25mn unemployed.

Immigrants don't undercut wages, they tend to create waged positions instead. Have a look at the UK catering trade as an example. Even fish and chips aren't British...it came from Ashkenazi European Jews...that's job creation for you...

I do try not to patronise you, DP, but when you post half-baked arguments with no basis in reality, and then bugger off and ignore all the questions and opposing evidence that people post to you, it does get a tad frustrating.
