When he says the UK has open borders, and that people arriving here get lots of free things, do you thing that encourages people to pay traffickers to make the journey to the UK ?
That is practically the same. Same goalposts, in the same position, I am just placing the penalty sot point a bit closer, I think.
That he is or is not in a position of power, as in PM, but wait, he is an MP, a lawmaker, does not make any difference to the question. Because he manages to get that message plastered all over the news and social media... OPEN BORDERS AND FREE THINGS.
Do you think that message encourages people to try the crossing ?
A similar thing, I suppose, would be.... If I stood on the road opposite a Tesco, with a big sign and a megaphone yelling, FREE BREAD AT THAT TESO SHOP, while that shop did not have free bread, do you think anyone would say "oh", and cross over to try to free bread ?
