I was about to type similarly. I read @Doseofreality first line and agreed; then I read their second line and thought - wtf? Someone has died, brutally and unexpectedly, and it still seems appropriate to come on, at this exact time, and refer to her as c*

Shocking and sad to hear police suspect she was murdered. No one deserves that. Poor woman.

The only thing the BBC has reported about the suspect is that they are a white male.....so statistically far more likely to be right wing but obviously we don't know anything.

The TRAs have been telling us for a long time who they are (while taking into account they didn't know she'd been murdered).

Although she opposed gay marriage too so the LGB community probably didn't like her much either. But so did lots of MPs and they don't end up dead before their time.

I think a lot of her views were a facade and underneath she was quite vulnerable.

Didn't agree with her on most things, but respected her right to hold those opinions. At least she didn't U turn every 5 minutes. She was kind to cats and foxes, so not 100 per cent bad.

Very elderly is 90+.

She seemed pretty sharp on the radio a few days ago. My mum is in her 70s and my friends’ mothers too and they are full of life. We don’t know why she had carers - it could have been temporary such as recovery from an operation or something. Really awful that someone would do that to a woman living alone.

The man referenced in the post above mine - Heather Herbert actually hoped that she died a painful death. I hope he is ashamed of himself (but doubt it)

The news states she was found by a carer.

Given the location I think it’s most likely a home invasion that’s gone horribly wrong. That happening to anyone is tragic. Her age and gender don’t make it more so.
