Stamer's lost it. He sounds like an angry lunatic in response to questions.

No. This government has dropped the ball repeatedly and are doing no better than the ones before. The economy has tanked because of some of the stuff they’ve brought in. And they are as prone to corruption as the last lot. Bloody disgrace.

Most noticeable, imo, was their shock at the situation being exactly as described, and proceeding to do all the things they’d tried to stop the previous administration doing.

And I’m no fan of the Tories.

The economy isn’t “tanking” though. Have a look at some independent and non partisan sources and the picture is actually quite interesting and on the whole positive

Absolutely. It is just like when Boris was in his dying days. Hopefully he will do the right thing and resign.

The comparison of Boris and Starmer is utterly ludicrous.

I agree. Boris didn't appoint two friends of paedophiles to senior roles in his government.

I think Boris was hopeless but Starmer scandals seem to be making Boris's look like childsplay.

Tories were awful but Labour are the worst government I have lived through. I couldn't believe anything could be worse than the last lot but the Labour party are killing the economy, it's fucking awful. My brothers are accountants and know lots of people closing doors/letting staff go, worse than 2008.

So you think the party that deliberately wiped >4% of GDP to save themselves are worse than this one where the worst that can be said is it’s stagnant.

Especially since a large part of the reason for the stagnant economy is as a result of that decision which from the previous government which is still holding us back.

tobee · 11/02/2026 17:53

Yeah Kemi looking so very strong; what with haemorrhaging Tory MPs and ex Tory MPs to Reform. 🙄

tobee · 11/02/2026 17:55

And I’m sure you might think the economy was tanking if you got all your news from the bastions of unbiased reporting like The Telegraph and The Express and believed everything you read.

I don’t think it matters. Maybe Labour feel it does because they need something, but she’s still going up most others going down, only Polanski also bucking the trend.

Did Boris appoint a US ambassador who leaked state secrets to fund paedophile ring? I don't think so. I didn't like Boris but Starmer is no better.

Well ok I’m sure Kemi is a shoo in for next PM. The only person ahead of her being Polanski? So you can see how seriously to take the polls if hypno tits Polanski is your marker.

Read again. I said going up not going down.

They are the only two leaders to be increasing in ratings.

Starmer goes down each week.

Araminta1003 · 11/02/2026 18:04

White middle class men are out of fashion, especially with sleaze and dodge attached. Starmer is as white middle class as they come, no matter how much he goes on about “tools”.
So black attractive strong women are more in fashion, so are strong gay men with personality, hence why Polanski/Streeting are popular too.

The whole me too/Epstein scandal, years of men abusing power and abusing women etc - bygone era. I think people want something new.

Old Farage is doing his very best to get attractive supposed minorities with a personality into his party too, tells you all.

The Epstein files show why middle class white men are out of fashion. I just listened to Lisa Nandy discuss the Boys Club culture in Number 10. It might has been expected from Boris but I had really hoped Starmer would be different. But is just jobs for the boys still.

What? Appointing Paedo adjacent Labour luvvies to positions of power?
I agree.

As someone who has never supported the party or the man -in the last 48 hours I have realised there is NO ONE else . So I really hope he survives.

The Labour party have realised it too, which is the only reason he's still in position. How dire.

Erin1975 · 11/02/2026 18:20

Dragonflytamer · 11/02/2026 13:04

He made no reference to the questions. He just gave prepared shouty rants. Kemi could have skewed him better than last week. She should have ask him want didn't he know about Matthew Doyle when he made him a Lord 8 weeks ago that he knows now. A better leader of the opposition would have delivered a knock out punch.

That's about normal for PMQs. The whole affair is a farce but the press love it and seems to focus entirely on the two 30 minute sessions each week so each week the politicians of both sides continue the charade.

Wolmando · 11/02/2026 18:22

Just see Starmer shouting at Ed Davey on the news, Really angry and finger pointing, is he usually like that.

Nope, not that far! Boris was, is and always be rubbish.
But Starmer could reach the same rubbish pile soon enough!

SirQuintus · 11/02/2026 18:30

This is the clip of Starmer losing his temper with Ed Davey.

I agree @Dragonflytamer he sounds totally deranged not least because what Davey asked was perfectly fair with all the Mandelson and Doyle peerage scandals. I think you'd be struggling to mount any argument that politics as whole isn't in a total state of disrepute with the public.

No, he did not. But that does not wash away the many things he did, to the tax payer and the NHS, pharmacies, civil service, councils, training doctors, lorry drivers, exporters or importers to the EU and... well, the list is very very long!
I agree with you Starmer has done the ultimate stupid horror, though. I will never again defend this useless man.

TheAutumnCrow · 11/02/2026 18:41

Upstartled · 11/02/2026 16:51

Yes. He sounded completely unhinged when he started yelling at Davey. Even Davey looked shocked and after a breath managed to respond that he had clearly touched a nerve. But he was right, promoting one nonce fancier is incompetence but to do it again is a pattern.

And it's one that speaks volumes, once again, about what Labour really thinks about violence against women and children. And how they much prefer the rhetoric than anything that might inconvenience their ambitions.

Thing is, the Lib Dems are once again embroiled in their own nonce and nonce-adjacent scandals and have been for some considerable time.

It’s just that no-one has cared very much about them since 2915 when they were jettisoned by the Tories.

So you think it is acceptable that Starmer knowingly appointed, someone who supported a Nouce get elected, for a lifelong role in the Lords?

Starmer is defiantly middle class, his dad as he keeps on pointing out was a toolmaker, as an engineer I can confidently say:

1/.A toolmaker is a highly skilled craftsman, not production line, well paid and well educated, easily middle class

2/. His dad actually was the owner of a small toolmaking firm, a businessman in his own right, even more middle class.
