Do you mean his death-knell as in his cause is lost or do you mean that he will be killed?
It's certainly not a comfortable situation for him.
About two years ago I very much wished that Zelensky and Navalny would both be alive 'in five years time', meaning about three years from now.
I saw a shot of Vance talking to European dignitaries today. They didn't look too enthralled at what he was saying.

I would hope so, he’s a relatively young man.
Politically the Ukraine is due for an election although it’s rare for elections to be called in the middle of an actual war.
All politicians face a certain threat, that being said I suspect Trump might be a higher value target, Putin and possibly some other leaders in Africa (I don’t get as much info on their conflicts).

Who knows what will happen to him once a peace deal is forced upon Ukraine - the Russians have a way of eliminating their enemies.

Probably from an “unknown virus” after the war ends. I can’t see it going in much longer with the US investment in Russia. Not sure what the US are angling for but they clearly have some motivation to end the war, maybe the sanctions are hurting them.

Zelensky is simply standing up for his country and it's right to sovereignty. I hope he manages to secure something of value and the country moves on.

I really wish we had made more of an effort to protect the Ukraine before the invasion as I don't believe Putin would have gone up against NATO.

Yes I do think he'll be alive. I think there is more chance of trump being assassinated than Zelensky. Look how close the last shooter got. Hit him on the ear.

I think, privately, everyone with a vested interest wants the war over. Zelensky included. It's awful that Ukraine will most likely have to concede some way to Russia, but the only alternative is more lives lost needlessly.

I think that, very sadly, it's more likely than not that he won't be alive in a year's time. The world is in an extremely dark place.

This is what is so sad-he’s a real person, he was an actor, he clearly never set out to be where he is now but he’s there and he has done his absolute best with dignity, courage and strength but despite that he won’t win it’s being taken completely out of his hands and that’s wrong. I do think sadly he won’t be around for long. Perhaps he could leave and go somewhere safe but I don’t think he would want to leave his country.
