Steamers and the superinjunction

Starmer surely can’t survive this one?

Guido Fox guy says it’s about the ‘shape of his family’ and reveals: “We have a name. As do the Mail and the Telegraph. We have a birth certificate."

Seems the allegations are something to do with an extra marital lady plus baby.

My opinion on this is that anyone who is such a control freak as to jail people for what they say is clearly a very dark person. And the hypocrisy he’s shown about almost everything he’s ever said, also shows a very dark underbelly,

Yawn.

Firenzeflower · 03/10/2024 07:37

OP one of the great mysteries is given Isabel Oakenshottt is clearly loaded why are her hair extensions so appalling? I suspect her hairdresser has a super injunction against anyone finding out she does it.

EasternStandard · 03/10/2024 07:38

I’m guessing this is on X, I haven’t seen any of this

‘So, Isabel, what first attracted you to the millionaire, Richard Tice’?

Gotta love a bit of Mrs Merton.

The story sounds like cobblers, but i like the idea of the typo-version. I'm picturing it as sex in a sauna.

Summernightsinthe21stcentury · 03/10/2024 07:53

The thing about a super injunction is that you can't report it. It is against the law, so if there actually was one, we would not know about it.

mentalblank · 03/10/2024 07:57

@Abstractthinking I strongly agree - he's done absolutely nothing wrong in my opinion, and the recent tsunami of confected outrage is completely ridiculous. But given the unacceptability of any gifts, I look forward to the right-wing media no longer inviting politicians to their parties, and no longer employing them as talk show hosts on huge salaries.

BlastedPimples · 03/10/2024 08:28

So so desperate to find anything at all to smear Starmer.

It's embarrassing and pathetic.

And the argument, "We all know Johnson is an adulterous creep but we still voted for him," says so much about your low standards, op. Standards that you now claim to matter if Starmer has had an affair and a baby.

PandoraSox · 03/10/2024 08:31

Who has he sent to jail @hamstersarse ?

Starmer surely can’t survive this one?

Um, remind me how many affairs Johnson had?

This is all desperate, grubby stuff. Next it will be pizzas and basements.

I suppose all this shit will get worse as the budget looms closer.

nfkl · 03/10/2024 08:32

Steamers and the superinjunction

would be a great name for a band!!

PandoraSox · 03/10/2024 08:35

Guido Fox is another good typo
@hamstersarse . Were you over-refreshed last night? 🤭

Edited to remove my own typo!😅

The point is the deceptions and sanctimony of Starmer

Thats why his behaviour is so incredulous,

Do you seriously think this is nothing coming from a man who paints himself as holier than thou?

See if you can answer without mentioning Boris

Hard agree
Fed up of the conspiracy theories being presented as "fact" and then getting reported when one challenges it

I don't think he has ever painted himself as that. If the rumours are true it will be disappointing, but not something for him to resign over. If every politician who had an affair resigned we wouldn't have many left.

Liz Truss' affair was known about, but didn't stop her becoming PM. Actually, maybe that's an argument for barring anyone one who has had an affair from becoming PM!

Yeah, agree also.

When did Starmer comment on the private lives of other politicians? I am intrigued.

ThreeFeetTall · 03/10/2024 08:47

More interested in the super injunction re Charlotte Owen tbh

PandoraSox · 03/10/2024 08:48

That is brilliant @CassieMaddox . I think Steamers should become the MN name for conspiracy theorists!

LizzieSiddal · 03/10/2024 08:49

If there was a SI, this thread would have been deleted hours ago.

The right wing are desperate.

Indeed. Her political career could hardly be called ‘illustrious’.

DogInATent · 03/10/2024 08:50

It's impossible to overestimate how gullible the public are when you suggest something that they'd like to be true.

There can't be a superinjunction if anyone in the UK media is talking about it. It smells fishier than week old haddock when someone like Nicolas Lissack is presenting themselves as an independent journalist to peddle this crap out.

It's playground rumour tactics, 🎶"I know something you don't know"🎶 and letting the anti-Starmer faction of the public fill in the blanks.

I don't really give a toss one way or another about the petty stuff that's being blown up into an Issue, but it's so deeply frustrating that UK politics is so shallow and voters are so lacking in critical thinking. Mind you, it's also very frustrating just how bad all mainstream UK politicians/parties have become at managing the message/agenda.

In other news, are the Cons really determined to elect Kemi as their leader? ffs

Coruscations · 03/10/2024 08:50

The beauty of superinjunctions for the press, particularly the likes of the Mail, is that they can happily hint at total rubbish knowing that when it's inevitably denied, they can blame a non-existent superinjunction.

BIossomtoes · 03/10/2024 08:58

Whoever said Guido Fawkes is struggling for material these days is spot on. Anyone who swallows this nonsense is gullible beyond belief. As to the minimising of incitement to riot and arson - words fail me.
