What happens if Trump wins?

I know the comments Trump has made about blocking Muslims from the USA, and building a wall between the states and Mexico. But what will the world look like if he becomes president? People seem to be afraid of his success and suggest we 'should push the button now' or that he will be assassinated. Surely he comments are to stir up media interest?

The irony of newshoes asking others not to believe what they read in the press is extraordinary. Is there any chance of you at least acknowledging that that stuff about the rape case is a load of rubbish?

newshoes68 · 03/08/2016 10:08

Research - read the facts and make your own mind up about stuff - majority of stuff in the papers is bullocks .
Believe what you want. - now there's the irony!

Lweji · 03/08/2016 10:13

Research - read the facts and make your own mind up about stuff - majority of stuff in the papers is bullocks .

Where are these "facts", then?

If they are from the same "sources" as claig likes to quote, or creationists use, or MMR sceptics, then I'd rather read the Daily Fail.

Lweji · 03/08/2016 10:16

And what kind of things have/has these/this friends/friend seen?
Any hints? Any directly related to Hillary? Any that we aren't aware from the press that the US do?
Just a hint.

newshoes68 · 03/08/2016 10:20

Ask an American what they think - I have guest over from the states at the moment - none of them have a good word to say about the clintons. And they all Hate Obama - not my words .
None of us are privee to top secret stuff but if you do enough research , read enough blog and interact on some of the USA websites you really do get a different taste to what's going on .
There is far to much stuff out there to even start and this is years and years of basic interest in politics and society .

newshoes68 · 03/08/2016 10:25

Go on a USA military pages is a good start .
See if you can befriend someone who has worked for the USA military .
They will tell you nothing as its all top secret. .... Then ask them about their own experience of 20 yrs in the army , under Clinton regime.
You might hear bullshit you might hear the truth . You make your own mind up.

newshoes68 · 03/08/2016 10:32

When you see your platoon shot down or blown up , unesscessily this make you realise we r all just puppets.

Threesoundslikealot · 03/08/2016 10:34

Most of the rubbish about Hillary can be fact checked to be wrong. Successive independent investigations over years and years have found pretty much nothing of substance on her. There are endless ranting blogs repeating the same old rumours that were proven false years ago, distortions on reality that is far less exciting. All these references to exposing awful, awful things never seem to come to fruition. It's being left very late, isn't it? I realise I'm talking to a wall, but absolutely the irony of being told not to believe what I read in the press...

Trump on the other hand pretty much compulsively lies, constantly. He incites hatred and violence, openly. His team have suggested that he can only lose through a rigged election, and that civil unrest is justified should Clinton win. Dangerous, reckless talk.

SwedishEdith · 03/08/2016 10:36

I have friends in US military, who is high up and who did train Apache pilots- he now works in DC - the things he has seen that are not available to the public are truly shocking

And they tell you? Hmm

This is the same argument/"logic" I saw on here before the referendum - I hate Cameron so I'm voting Leave even though I don't want to.

Lweji · 03/08/2016 10:37

When you see your platoon shot down or blown up , unesscessily this make you realise we r all just puppets.

I did say something we don't already know.
Was it any different under W? Who actually sent the army to Afghanistan and Iraq? Do your army friends love him?

Do you really think Trump would be any different?
Or maybe he'd put the army chasing illegal immigrants instead, or monitoring muslim citizens' activities.
Or still send them to the Middle East, just as long as he'd be able to profit from stealing their oil.

'Military Times survey: Troops prefer Trump to Clinton by a huge margin'

www.militarytimes.com/story/military/election/2016/05/09/military-times-survey-donald-trump-beats-hillary-clinton/84132402/

newshoes is right. the people in the know know what is going on. Puppets are protected because they work for lobbyists and bankers, but what really goes on goes way beyond what we have any clue about. Trump knows it because he has been told because he knows the high level sources. Trump intends to sort it out. Trump will be revealing lots of it and it will be shocking.

Lweji · 03/08/2016 10:41

Trump will be revealing lots of it and it will be shocking

I'll only be shocked if he ends up revealing anything.

It doesn't look like it's going to happen in his lifetime.

He hardly knows anything about what we all know, let alone what we don't know.

Lweji · 03/08/2016 10:42

He doesn't even know about his own made up in the moment policies.

newshoes68 · 03/08/2016 10:44

Claig- the general public have not got a clue - I'm guessing you now someone military too. As you seemed to be on the same vibe as me.
General public read the mail and the sun .
Not NRT or RT news websites !!

'Former Hillary Clinton press secretary: 'Peril' to underestimate Donald Trump'

edition.cnn.com/2016/05/13/politics/hillary-clinton-donald-trump-peril/

They all know what Trump will do when he cleans house. Davos knows and none of them underestimate him. They have never come across someone like Trump before, this is not the usual "career politician" games, the "bought and paid for" stuff.

Threesoundslikealot · 03/08/2016 10:45

Trump didn't know there are Russian forces in Crimea.

Military personnel vote for right wing candidate shocker! That has never happened before. Oh, wait...

claig · 03/08/2016 10:48

Claig- the general public have not got a clue - I'm guessing you now someone military too'

No, I don't know any US military, but I listen to Trump's advisers and US military experts like Lt Col Mike Flynn and others on US talkshows and they know what is really going on. Trump will be taking a lot of political crooks down when he releases the info he has been told.

newshoes68 · 03/08/2016 10:50

Claig - the public still believe that the MI6 hacker spy put himself in the duffle bag and zipped it up!! ConfusedConfused

Lweji · 03/08/2016 10:51

Claig - the public still believe that the MI6 hacker spy put himself in the duffle bag and zipped it up!!

No, they don't. Grin

Is that the shocker?

Threesoundslikealot · 03/08/2016 10:52

I don't think people are underestimating Trump right now. On the contrary, they are appalled at the real prospect of him winning. Recognising him as a political force is entirely different to agreeing with his policies.

Having read your link on military voting (and I wonder whether you ever, ever read the links others post?) the final paragraph says that the poll reflects voter party declarations and nothing more - registered Republicans support Trump. A big chunk of responders weren't planning to vote at all.

newshoes68 · 03/08/2016 11:00

.... And 9/11 was by Al khida . And bin laden . ..... Another excuse for a war !!

newshoes68 · 03/08/2016 11:03

Read some of Rex Rennels stuff blogged in the USA - he has a very interesting point of view .

Beachtrowel · 03/08/2016 11:22

You want to read the David Icke forums, you'll love them.

newshoes68 · 03/08/2016 11:32

Yes have done - again another interesting point of view .

SpecialAgentFreyPie · 03/08/2016 11:45

I think the thing that makes Trump so much worse to be than say, Bush is that Bush seemed stupid. Trump seems... Unstable.
