What happens if Trump wins?

I know the comments Trump has made about blocking Muslims from the USA, and building a wall between the states and Mexico. But what will the world look like if he becomes president? People seem to be afraid of his success and suggest we 'should push the button now' or that he will be assassinated. Surely he comments are to stir up media interest?

OP posts:
Threesoundslikealot · 03/08/2016 01:46

Judy, Claig doesn't believe that Trump means the things that s/he finds unpalatable, nor that he would do the things he promises to do. I'm not sure what that leaves but it appears to be a way of creating a virtually imaginary candidate who will stick it to The Man.

claig · 03/08/2016 01:48

We already know Trump is a bullshitter, so he is not going to do a lot of things he says, but we do know that what he will do is sort the elites out which is why they are all terrified and are all against him. A bit like Corbyn, but on steroids.

Threesoundslikealot · 03/08/2016 01:51

I think Jeremy Corbyn would be utterly horrified to be compared to a vile human being like Trump.

Please explain what he will actually do to 'sort the elites out' and what he is just bullshitting about, and how you know which is which even though though, by your own reckoning, Trump himself doesn't know truth from lie?

newshoes68 · 03/08/2016 01:52

Yes the rape case .
Plus lots of other stuff , they are heavily involved with the Rothschild and the rockerfellas.
There's nothing pleasant about them .bill , who I always fancied as a dinner guest has an appalling history of raped and sexual abuse allegations

claig · 03/08/2016 01:55

'Please explain what he will actually do to 'sort the elites out' '

I don't know his exact plans but I do know that the elites aren't happy at the prospect. Trump is changing entire world policy, it s "America First", the end of globalism. It is huge, which is why Davos is miffed. They are praying that Hillary will keep their three card trick going.

“We will no longer surrender this country or its people to the false song of globalism,” Trump promised during a speech in Washington.

“I am skeptical of international unions that tie us up and bring America down,” he claimed

claig · 03/08/2016 01:57

newshoes68, a lot of it will come out in the next few months. There will be no holds barred with Trump, he will go where others dare not tread.

Threesoundslikealot · 03/08/2016 01:59

Please have a good look at Snopes, newshoes. The majority of stories about Hillary are demonstrably false, including the 47 people.

Threesoundslikealot · 03/08/2016 02:01

Claig, surely a presidential candidate should be setting out their plans? You are a very trusting individual.

claig · 03/08/2016 02:02

'Please have a good look at Snopes, newshoes.

Isn't there a tape of Hillary on youtube about it? I seem to remember hearing a tape a few years back on the news.

Threesoundslikealot · 03/08/2016 02:04

About what, Claig? The rape case? The article I linked to talks about what you hear on the tape.

Trump on the other hand is currently being sued for raping a 13 year old himself.

claig · 03/08/2016 02:05

'Claig, surely a presidential candidate should be setting out their plans? You are a very trusting individual.'

Three, we are in anti-establishment times, Brexit, where Cameron and the team and all their plans failed to move the people. We don't believe their plans, we don't believe their scares, we don't trust them and their manifestos. We only trust someone who tells the truth about what has been going on, which is why we like Corbyn and Trump.

claig · 03/08/2016 02:06

'The article I linked to talks about what you hear on the tape.'

What does it say about it? Because from what I remember of it, it is not pleasant to listen to.

LauderSyme · 03/08/2016 02:12

claig Please could you put some flesh on the bones of your vision of a glorious Trump presidency and provide some specific details?

The OP's initial question asked us to consider precisely this, but most of your posts have instead analysed the campaign so far and media coverage of it.

What does "sort the Establishment out" mean? How will the Donald do it?

When you say he will "end Davos and all the rest's dreams and schemes, expose all their lies and end them all, tear up their free trade deals" you seem to imply that he will single-handedly dismantle the world economy. How will he do that?

The US president cannot control what sovereign governments, global corporations, wealthy elites and other stakeholders choose to do. He cannot, alone, dictate the world order. If you think he can, please explain how?

Do you think his six bankruptcies resulted from any "dreams and schemes [and] lies" of his own? Have any of The People ever derived any benefit from Donald Trump's billions?

How is a man incapable of discerning his own lies able to expose those of others?

Which "pointless wars" will he end? How will he smash Isis within weeks? Won't he have to start at least one war to do it? Didn't Dubya tell us he had smashed Al Qaeda by starting a war he couldn't finish in Afghanistan? Didn't exactly put a stop to radical Islamic terrorism, did it? So how will Trump achieve it?

How will "a bullshitter who makes mistakes and cuts corners" ... "bring common sense back to the entire world"? What does "common sense" even mean in this context?

I find your posts frustrating because you indulge in hyperbolic rhetoric rather than substantively addressing valid questions. Please could you at least attempt to do so?

Threesoundslikealot · 03/08/2016 02:12

Why not read the article? You claim to read lots of articles. Presumably you post links on here so others can read what you have. So do I.

Corbyn and Trump are nothing alike. I've never seen Corbyn mock a disabled person; never seen him come out with misogynist nonsense; never heard him call someone the devil; never read accounts of him being openly racist.

Threesoundslikealot · 03/08/2016 02:14

And everything Lauder says. Please tell us.

Although you can't. Because it's all completely untrue. Trump is bluster and hate and nothing more.

Lweji · 03/08/2016 02:18

How will he smash Isis within weeks?

IIRC he'll put Putin to it and leave regional countries to sort it out.
Or call them names.

claig · 03/08/2016 02:37

'claig Please could you put some flesh on the bones of your vision of a glorious Trump presidency and provide some specific details? '

I said it at the beginning of teh thread. Trump is ending globalism, he is ending the control of the United States by the globalists and bankers. He is taking America back off them, scrapping the free trade deals that have gutted American industry and destroyed millions of well-paid jobs in Detroit and Michigan and elsewhere. He is restoring the American Dream where the working and middle class can thrive again. he is lowering taxes, rebuilding America's infrastructure and ending the trillions spent on wars abroad which suit the globalists and bankers and which America never wins but ends up paying for. He is putting the American people ahead of global corporations and banks. he is going to take a wrecking ball to K Street and the corrupt politicians who work for lobbyists. Some political crooks will likely be going to jail for what they have done. He is ending the cronyism and putting the American nation and people first

'“I am skeptical of international unions that tie us up and bring America down,” he claimed'

That is the whole reason he decided to stand for office. he doesn't need the abuse and the lies against him by the world's elites and their "bought and paid for" cronies, but he has done it because no one else has the courage to sort them out.

'What does "sort the Establishment out" mean? How will the Donald do it? '

He wil open up investigations, he will open up the 28 redacted pages of the 911 report, he knows all the business people and he knows all their tricks, he will get to the bottom of what happened in Syria and Libya and who profited etc. Some people will have to answer for what they did.

'When you say he will "end Davos and all the rest's dreams and schemes, expose all their lies and end them all, tear up their free trade deals" you seem to imply that he will single-handedly dismantle the world economy. How will he do that? '

Farage said the Euro elections were an "earthquake" and that Brexit was an "earthquake", but compared to a Trump Presidency, these things are just tremors. The entire world 's political class, the cronies and the servants, are terrified of a Trump Presidency because America is the stringest country on earth and if America withdraws support for their policies, it is all over for the lot of them, because it will set off a chain reaction where the cronies will be voted out of office all over the world. Brexit caused huge changes in our political system, with big faces who used to lecture us now gone. A trump Presidency will do that in spades across the planet.

'The US president cannot control what sovereign governments, global corporations, wealthy elites and other stakeholders choose to do. He cannot, alone, dictate the world order. If you think he can, please explain how?'

Without American support, the world order collapses. You can say bye bye to the EU if America doesn't support it. We don't know what Trump will do, but he is lukewarm towards it and was for Brexit. The US will favour countries that go along with its new Trumpian policies, those that don't will be left behind and their cronies will probably be voted out if they are left behind.

'Do you think his six bankruptcies resulted from any "dreams and schemes [and] lies" of his own? Have any of The People ever derived any benefit from Donald Trump's billions?'

Those businesses went bankrupt due to the mismanagement of the economy by the teams and the bankers who forced interest rates up and made the debt unserviceable. Some businesses fail, that is part of business, and they are restructured and survive to pay debt back when interest rates fall again. Trump has given employment to tens of thousands of people.

'How is a man incapable of discerning his own lies able to expose those of others?'

It is not that Trump is incapable, it is that he doesn't care because he considers them smallfry, but the big lies and mistakes is what he wants to expose and remove and is why he is running for President.

'Which "pointless wars" will he end? '

Interventions like Libya or backing of Jihadis in Syria etc. The trillions wasted in Iraq, he won't do that type of thing.

' How will he smash Isis within weeks? '

By seriously fighting them in alliance with Putin and NATO. They will be wiped out in weeks. Trump will bomb their oil facilities irrespective of the "environmental impact" which was one reason the Obama team gave for not doing so.

'Didn't Dubya tell us he had smashed Al Qaeda by starting a war he couldn't finish in Afghanistan? Didn't exactly put a stop to radical Islamic terrorism, did it? So how will Trump achieve it?'

Trump has top military advisers like Lt Col Michael Flynn who know what is really going on. Trump knows what is really going on. He will end it very quickly.

'How will "a bullshitter who makes mistakes and cuts corners" ... "bring common sense back to the entire world"? What does "common sense" even mean in this context?'

Because they are mutually exclusive. Common sense means policies the inverse of the ones made by Cameron and the team etc.

'I find your posts frustrating because you indulge in hyperbolic rhetoric rather than substantively addressing valid questions.'

I always try to answer every question, but it is not possible to give substantive policy because even Trump doesn't yet know. But that is not what matters because you can't believe the policy of the Remainers who are now out of office. What matters is intent and Trump has it, so as and when he is in office, he will gather the right people to sort things out.

LauderSyme · 03/08/2016 02:53

One more question for you claig...

Why are you so personally (over)-invested in Donald Trump's victory?

I wish to God I could confidently predict that he will lose but I am fearful he won't. To paraphrase H. L. Mencken, "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people". He also wrote, "Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard".

Not that I am a champion of Mencken; he also wrote a lot of disgustingly reprehensible bilge, but these two quotes do seem sadly apposite for the 2016 Presidential race.

claig · 03/08/2016 02:58

'One more question for you claig...

Why are you so personally (over)-invested in Donald Trump's victory?'

Because I am sick of the losers in our Establishment who have implemented non-common sense policies, which is why I switched from Conservative to UKIP, and the only way the entire world will change and we will be free of useless policies is if Trump wins and sets off a chain reaction of common sense. That is why Trump is so important and why Davos is so scared of him.

'I wish to God I could confidently predict that he will lose but I am fearful he won't.'

The whole world is changing as we saw with Brexit. The reason is that the people have had enough of the useless policies of the losers and now the losers have lost and are being sacked. It looks like Trump will continue the trend. It is not in anyone's control what happens, just as the entire Establishment couldn't prevent Brexit, because it is all about the will of the people and that has changed dramatically over the past 4 years or so because they are fed of what Trump calls the "losers" who are doing stupid things.

LauderSyme · 03/08/2016 03:01

Thank you for assiduously answering my questions claig, I am genuinely interested in getting an insight into the thinking of a Trump supporter.

claig · 03/08/2016 03:03

Thanks, but I am just one Trump supporter, others will think differently, but nearly all of us are sick of the Establishment "losers" and cronies, so we all have that in common.

There are lots of good articles in Politico and the Daily Beast interviewing Trump supporters at his rallies.

Good night.

LauderSyme · 03/08/2016 03:09

I too would like to see a world revolution bringing about the manumission and empowerment of "the people" but I think my methods would be very different to yours!

PacificDogwod · 03/08/2016 07:58

I have no problem whatsoever with genuinely anti-establishment figures. I have a problem with lying bigots.

That.

Thanks for the TrumpLiesWiki Shock

I am no Clinton lover, but compared to Trump? Hilary looks like Mother Theresa.

Lweji · 03/08/2016 08:31

nearly all of us are sick of the Establishment "losers" and cronies, so we all have that in common

If only Trump wasn't Establishment himself, or a bigot, or a misogynist, or incited to violence, or spoke out of his arse.

Stalin was great at being anti-establishment too. For a while.
So were many dictators and genocidal maniacs.

Pick your anti-establishment fighters carefully or you'll be stung and responsible for the misery of many.

newshoes68 · 03/08/2016 09:25

Threesounds - please don't believe everything in the press .
Hillary is seriously corrupt . There is serious shit that will come out about this couple. I have friends in US military, who is high up and who did train Apache pilots- he now works in DC - the things he has seen that are not available to the public are truly shocking . Every time someone tries to expose the corruptness they disappear.
