This is firmly tongue in cheek...
Score yourself if you have an interest in / have done any of the following...

Tarot - 2 points
Crystals - 2 points
Spiritualism - 3 points
Auras - 3 points
Homeopathy - 2 points
Reiki - 2 points
Reflexology - 2 points
Past lives / past life regression - 4 points
Yoga - 3 points
Massage - 1 point
Health food / Holland and Barrett - 2 points
Grow yer own - (food that is) 4 points
Mind expanding hallucinogenics - 4 points
Peyote / mescalin - 5 points
If accompanied by tribal rituals, add 2 points

Add an extra 1 point per catergory that you scored on if you wear tie dye.

And another 1 point per catergory that you scored on if you have any books by Doreen Virtue

Dolphin nick nacks - 10 point
Fairy nick nacks - 10 points
Angel nick nacks - 10 points

To get the ball rolling, I score 45.

Out-woo me if you dare!

Adair · 17/04/2010 17:01

Oh dear. Zero.

But a vague interest in all of them.

So I am clearly wannabe-woo.

thehillsarealive · 17/04/2010 17:03

hells teeth - I am more woo than i thought! hmm... scoring a LOT.

piratecat · 17/04/2010 17:04

about the same as you nemo

chuck in a baby concieved at Glastonbury Tor (camping)

!!!

and a severe spirutual awakening 10 yrs ago.

wwooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

displayuntilbestbefore · 17/04/2010 17:06

6 - I have done yoga, had a massage and eaten food from a health food store

I don't think I am very woo at all - but that is just fine by me

DramaInPyjamas · 17/04/2010 17:09

I still have a massive collection of fairy nick-nacks, books, etc.. that I started in my teens, so that bumped up my score quite a bit!

potplant · 17/04/2010 17:12

I'll give myself 2.5 - grow my own veggies but nowhere near enough to be described as self sufficient. Mind you, I'd have to deduct a point as I had reflexology once on holiday and I hated it.

(I could pick up another 4 if pilates scores the same as yoga)

Not a bit woo

yama · 17/04/2010 17:13

I score 9 or 11 if you include Tarot. I can't remember if I've ever had my Tarot cards read.

Scratch that - 11 it is. Ii went on a date once with a guy who read my cards. Thought so.

Nemofish · 17/04/2010 17:15

Adair - definitely trainee / entry level woo.

piratecat - awesome, I have no idea how much a baby conceived at Glastonbury Tor would increase your score, would have to be a lot though - could have doubled it by giving birth there too! (using homeopathic remedies for pain relief, natch)

So far I think it's between thehillsarealive and piratecat...

Nemo - you surely need to add some points to your score for having ascertained the attributes that make up someone who is "woo"? Also for having started a thread with an assertive admittance of woo-ishness?

indigobarbie · 17/04/2010 17:20

I went to see Doreen Virtue in Edinburgh about 5 years ago she was appearing with Gordon Smith. Awesome. I scored 40! Some of this is so much part of my life now that I don't consider it to be woo woo, but others do I know.

Nemofish · 17/04/2010 17:25

I'm a big softy, honest.

I don't hold anything against non-woo people, apart from the fact they burnt our predecessors at the stake...

bronze · 17/04/2010 17:26

Health food / Holland and Barrett - 2 points
Grow yer own - (food that is) 4 points

I'm a mod on a 'green forum' not sure if thats woo though

ILoveGregoryHouse · 17/04/2010 17:29

What's the start score for woo?

I get 24. Why isn't acupuncture on there? Consulting a psychic? Who is Doreen Virtue?

displayuntilbestbefore · 17/04/2010 17:29

Oh, that wasn't me, Nemo - I was out with my sister shopping for new shoes when that happened

Nemofish · 17/04/2010 17:35

Doreen Virtue - prolific writer of 'angel' themed stuff.

ILoveGregoryHouse - my woo scoring system is in it's infancy, eg. I just made it up. You may add to as you see fit.

Consulting a psychic - a bit woo
Being the psychic - now that's proper woo!

Nemofish · 17/04/2010 17:36

indigobarbie - I've been waiting for you to appear!

TheProvincialLady · 17/04/2010 17:39

Hm. Current woo score just 2 (health foods), but past woo behaviour includes growing my own veg (4), hallucinogens (4) and I took Boots homeopathic period pain remedy once - twas total shite - (2) and I have had a massage (1). Gawd, everyone has had a massge, surely? And been to a yoga class?

TheProvincialLady · 17/04/2010 17:41

And WHERE is araomatherapy on this list? I reckon it should score a 3.

And sorry but crystals are a lot more woo-tastic than 2. Crystals are at least a 50.

pitttheglintinthemilkmanseye · 17/04/2010 17:45

i eat healthily but not from Holland and Barretts i scored 0 thank God

thedollshouse · 17/04/2010 17:45

I scored 3. Thought I was a bit more "woo" than that.

YoginiBikini · 17/04/2010 17:45

Ooookay.... I guess I'm a bit woo

A nice woo

imaginewittynamehere · 17/04/2010 17:45

4 grow my own veg only

MrsChemist · 17/04/2010 17:46
  1. That's more woo than I thought I would be.
hmmSleep · 17/04/2010 17:46

1, I've had a couple of massages, what's the opposite of a Woo? That's me. Funny thing is, people often mistake me for a woo. Think it's because I don't wear make-up and often look a bit away with the fairies, when actually it's more I can't be arsed and all that's going on in my head is 'dum de dum de dum'.
