Are you afraid of death?

Sometimes I think I'm not afraid of death and I wonder if that's normal.

I believe in an afterlife so surely I shouldn't be frightened of it.... BUT I wonder if this is normal. TBH there are days when he thought of an eternal sleep is really rather nice!

BTW none of my close relatives has died so I haven't had any close hand experience of this which may explain my casual attitude.

Would be interested in what what others feel....( do hope I'm not upsetting anyone by asking this. )

Thanks
PFS

PS: Am watching Dan Cruickshanks prog on death....which may explain this.

Hi all , I truly believe hand on heart that in death there is peace. I am 45 but not afraid to die. Would like to think that I would see the kids grown up etc (24 and 16) but If my time here is done then its done. I personally believe that this is not the be all and end all. I look forward to seeing my mum

I am not afraid of death, I see it as meeting my loved ones again. Would like to leave the loved ones behind stable and grown up (boy 24 girl 16). I know I will meet my mum again and purely for that reason I am not afraid. Truly believe there is life after death

Not afraid of my own death any longer. My daughter passed away recently. I know that her soul lives on. Her death has given mine a purpose because I truly hope that I can be with her again.

I am terrified of losing my parents though.

No not afraid, but obviously leaving anyone behind who you love is going to be tough. Though to me death is a start of another journey that my soul will take and also it is unavoidable and part of life so i have accepted it.
