i am feeling terribly glum this afternoon. I am due to be going away with my family on Saturday and they are all terribly excited, but I am anxious, plus I know I am going to get my period, which for me is very bad, and I jhust feel so churned up atm. I could do with a prayer for peace atm. Sorry

I've had a wonderful opportunity given to me, my local Lollipop agent has decided to wrap in at the end of the month - her kids have been out of nappies for a year now so she is not as interested as she was and has asked me if I want to take over her patch! I'll be able to work closely with a friend who has just started as a Lollipop agent in an adjacent area too I'll be able to promote my ecobusiness along side as well!

Many prayers of praise from me today through the darkness although I didn't get the job I went for last week (as the MD didn't actually have a job for me, just wanted to get info about my old company out of me ) my best friend called me today and asked me to work for her! She runs a recruitment firm and wants me to be her "Candidate Liaison Manager" 3 days a week to begin with, perhaps rising to full time by the end of the year! I will be the first point of contact for anyone looking for work through the company I am so excited!!!

Prayers for everyone, including those just popping in.

For SS's pregnancy problems, for Karala's friend Petra, for CD to get more sleep, for Mary as she searches for the right path with jobs, for naswm who's feeling and needs to know that God's holding her up even if she doesn't realise it. And for everyone else earlier in the thread too.

Had a tough time yesterday evening when I went to collect the ashes of our lovely family dog. It brought all the memories of her, and of the last few months of heck, back. There's much to be grateful for, but sometimes it's so hard to remember it when the memories of the frightening bits just won't go. But we're off on hols for a week today with friends to see if we can get dh some rest and relaxation. Should be good.

NASWM I hope it helps, it is really hard sometimes when the feeling of being low just doesn't seem to budge. Yet something or someone stops us just "giving up", no matter how tempting it is, and I believe that is Jesus. Paul tells us to run a good race, but as I'm really lousy at running, I don't find that particularly helpful! Romans 8:38-39 always seems to hit the spot though.

"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Don't forget the 3rd of the 2 great commandments "Love yourself" xx

Morning all. Why is it tht all week I have had to wake my dc for school and that this morning they were up before 7? Plus I was out last night so am tired [bhmmm]
