Oh Soozi, for your row and for the flowers.

Of course there is hope for the two of you, nothing is beyond the redemption of the Lord. Maybe you could both read through Ephesians 5:22 to the end of the chapter, but be careful to both read all of it. So often husbands like to hear about the submissive wives, but fail to read that they should completely sacrifice themselves for their wives AS CHRIST SACRIFICED HIMSELF FOR THE CHURCH.

CaptainCaveman · 30/03/2009 11:59

Hello ladies, I have missed you all! Rl and work getting in the way of mn and fellowship - I need to assess my priorities.

On a mammoth cleaning spree today, house is an utter dump with dust on the dust .

Praise God for the 'sold' sign outside our house and prayers that the sale continues smoothly through to completion and moving. Might be going in about 5 to 6 weeks

Praise too that dsis is moving back home to our parents. Dneice moved there at the weekend and has started her new school today. Praying it all goes well for her. Dsis still drinking though

JentlyDoesIt · 30/03/2009 13:45

Hello all,

So sorry I haven't got time for a "proper" post but if I could ask for your prayers please. I can't say too much on here at the moment but something dreadful happened this morning and I am worried sick and don't know what to do. It was a very scary experience and it isn't over by any means either

(For DO and CD, it is not the same thing as in January but the same people are involved IYSWIM?)

Thank you all

amber32002 · 30/03/2009 16:31

Jently, praying for you.
And for everyone else.
Zipadisoozy, dh shouldn't have to take any more tablets as yet - they'll monitor it first, they said. Prayers for your situation at home too.
Tired out - been at hospital, no results from the MRI scan for another week. Drat.

Could do with prayers for resolving a situation at a big Christian festival where they've sort of forgotten some of the disability accessibility stuff, I think. Wanted to go, not sure I can now.

And prayers for you Belgiambun, may the bun in your oven be as sticky as a real Belgianbum (sorry bun). Hope the sickness abates soon.

ZipadiSoozi · 30/03/2009 21:58

Sticky buns???? where, yummy!

Indeed, BB, prayers for little bean to stay stook!

amber - Aw prayers for a solution for your christian festival. Continued prayers for dh, and for some more strength for you.

jently - prayers for your bad experience, hope things sort out quickly.

DO - Thank you for your support, we didn't actually row! no point in it really, but I was ready to abandon ship, I wanted out, expressed my concerns in an adult manner and I then had time out. DH knows how upset I was, he saved that day, but there is still a long way to go. I pray every day for a solution, he is such a generous kind gentleman, would do anything for me and is very loyal, but...????

Anyway, I can go on till I'm blue in the face with our marriage, but today, I'm leaving it well alone, today I PASSED!!!!!!!! my job is safe, I passed my rescue test. Praise God!

ZipadiSoozi · 30/03/2009 22:01

I would be grateful if people would include my friend Petra in their prayers - she is dying and is too weak to stand or even sit up now. However, she is still conscious and alert and is terribly anxious. thank you.

K.

PandaG · 01/04/2009 12:40

hello all

praying for all of you, trying to catch up...not been around for ages. Much love to you all.

Swaliswan · 01/04/2009 14:54

I'd really appreciate your prayers, Ladies.

I seem to be spending more time at the hospital than at home atm. I had to go in on saturday evening as I had very few movements from the baby and flashing lights in my vision with a headache. My blood pressure went sky high then settled a bit but they still wanted to rule out pre-eclampsia so I was back in on sunday morning. Thank God that my blood pressure had dropped and it wasn't pre-eclampsia.

Then yesterday I was having loads of period pains, back pain and BH contractions which seemed to be escalating into the real thing and was accompanied by a bloody show. As I'm still considered pre-term and the blood was fresh, I was told that I had to go in to Labour ward. My contractions were off the scale on the CTG but I wasn't dilated at all. The contractions have settled now but it is so disheartening that things seemed to be starting and I was getting all geared up just to end up missing loads of sleep and not have a baby to hold today.

I'm getting really fed up of this pregnancy now and I don't know exactly how I will cope tomorrow if I go into labour whilst I'm looking after DD by myself and DH is working a bit further away from home than normal tomorrow.

DutchOma · 01/04/2009 15:14

Big prayers for you Ss, that baby may stay wrapped up just a few days longer and not be too wild and woolly in your tummy.

Prayers for your friend Petra too, Karala, has she been ill long?

Good to hear from you Dippy, and Clockface and PandaG. Glad you are all coping and happy

karala · 01/04/2009 17:59

she was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and had surgery followed by chemo and then in January this year it reappeared in an aggressive manner and she now has only days. To be honest, everyone is surprised that she continues to survive.

CaptainDippy · 01/04/2009 19:58

So I pray that God would hold her in His loving, gentle arms and take her away, very gently. xx

PandaG · 01/04/2009 21:31
