Good morning.
It's so dark this morning, really starting to feel like autumn now..
I'm just about to start my morning rituals, but have switched on the heating for a little boost first.
Interesting to read about the rage, In her book Hagitude Sharon Blackie discusses rage in middle aged women being released as a lifetime of being bottled up, being told no, being silenced because we are women. That the fire of the menopause is an outpouring of injustice, inequity, of being managed and moulded by a male dominated world. It makes for very interesting reading.
LuciaPillson you could make a crystal grid, carry a crystal, use them to stir drinks, keep by the bedside, charge a crystal in spellwork, pop in the bath or water to wash, use on your altar, hold during meditation, place on the body part that has pain as you lie, make into a pendulum I am sure there are many more.
The sea is so very special isn't it. I grew up with the sea close by, and I have never lived far from it. I will pass it this morning on my way to Body Balance.
Standing at the shoreline and looking out I feel so connected. The sea touches all coastlines all over the world. One cup of water contains molecules of water that have touched the shores of Greenland and Brazil, India and Alaska. Water has evaporated and rained down on distant places, joined rivers, irrigated crops and found its way back to the sea. The sea can be calm and soothing, but can rage and crash. And it is so so healing.
It has been another roller coaster week, but I have survived. I have acted within my boundaries and have been able to stay within my authenticity. It feels like balm to my soul.
My niece has gone home abroad, it has been so good to see her and her little family. We were both sad as we said goodbye. We live so far apart that meeting only happens once every few years- I am so glad we have internet,
I am off for a spa shower, I have some Lime essential oil- which reminds me of tropical shores- and a lavender candle to burn while I dress and do some glamour magic. My order from This Works arrived yesterday, so I will use them too. My DD bought me some This Works products a few years ago as a christmas gift and I have used them daily- and bought a lot more- since then.
I can hear the rain battering the windows, it will be a wet drive this morning.
Have a magical weekend sisters.
