Here's the summary of request from the last thread for all your lovely ladies! .....

Scootergrrrl - Prayers for her friend L who has been really struggling with her DH who is an atheist.

QueenofQuotes - Prayers that she would find a new job v.v.v.v.soon!

Bobsmum - Hurrah! for new kitchens and Praise for her friend's twins (boy and girl) who arrived safely - prayers for their health as the little DS has been in hospital and for them as they cope with 4 very young children. Prayers for childcare provision when BM's little bubba arrives and praying that DH's new job is going ok Also remembering BM's SPD - praying for healing. xx

Saliswan - Is PG!!! Praying for her as she has a lot to cope with right now. Praying her DD would sleep better and that God would cement hers and her DH's relationship in all the strain. Praying for her PG to "stick" and for worries that she has following previous MC, hyperemisis and preemie baby. xxxx Praying that she would find a job soon, perhaps this one at the Christian Pregancy Crisis Centre!!? MarsLady - Prayers for her as she arranges her father's funeral. She did not have a good relationship with her father and is finding the whole process difficult and daunting. Praying that everything would go smoothly - with the funeral and with work. xxxx

SS - Thank you for your support and ideas SS - they are endless, most of which he does actually do, makes gates, treats fencing, asphelt roofs, cleans UPVC, garden centre trips etc etc! just started advertising further afield

CC - Aw lol ds giving your rump a chomp, my ds pokes boobies, mainly mine but he's not fussed!

CD - Have you a long driveway we could plonk our caravan in return my dh could do your garden, obviously in the summer when we could go to the beach whilst he's hard at work - ahhhhhh what a glorious thought 'BEACH' 'SUN' 'SEA' & 'CIDER'

Bobsmum - Fab re: scan, aw little rose bud lips, and prayers for your dh job commuting! pants!!!!! but pleased he is happy.

Mary - Prayers for your lovely cuddly ds, I hope his nightmares go soon, does he have a little night light? We love our dc so much it makes our heart ache when they suffer doesn't it.

Sooz, I feel very frustrated for you. Maybe now is just a time for prayer and my practical 'help' was rather misplaced - I'm sorry.

Zipadisuzy, one thing that's worked really well in the Berkshire/South Oxfordshire area is the "Little Green Directory" - a directory where people recommend businesses. The ones we've recommended are now rushed off their feet with people using them. I don't know where you live, but is there a similar service?

Amber - Thank you to you aswell, we are in local business directories and local papers and local diaries, church mag, shop windows etc etc!

Thank you all for your support, it is a general prayer for weather conditions, we have been really lucky so far not to have had frosts till this week!

Anyway, all the prayers have been answered, god is good, a major customer of ours has said today that if anytime another customer rings in cancelling for whatever reason, dh can go and do gardening odd jobs for his business!!!!!! WOW! Plus a company we advertise through has asked us to do his garden, God is good, talk about god-incidence through prayer!

Evening all! I would really appreciate your prayers for a situation in the office at work. Tensions are a little fraught between 2 of our colleagues which makes life unpleasant for the other 3 of us. We had a frank and open conversation about it today but the 2 concerned didn't seem convinced they would be able to resolve things. It seems they just despise each other . Don't know why coz they're both lovely.
Praying (fervently!)that God will work with them both to enable them to understand one another, and to learn to work together.

CD - lol at dh response, (ungrateful that he is) oh great holiday! (in a sarcastic manner) where is the christian in him although he did say, I know alot of kind people on mumsnet, so not altogether bad, I think he was just astonished that I'd offered HIS services in return for MY holiday, I did say he could go in the sea every night for a wash!!!!!

Has dh not heard of a busman's holiday then?

Prayers for ds x-teacher in his 20's just collapsed in class with a stroke.

Also Post lady has just lost her dad, he died very suddenly, she is devastated.

Sorry and another - dh best man at our wedding has just lost his father aswell, needs lots of tlc as wasn't particular close to his dad, but feels the guilt of it all now! is very sad.

I don't know if there is a limit to how many prayers one can have in 1 day, but I think I have had my quota for today.

I am verbally supporting these people aswell, so hope I am doing enough for the good lord! I sometimes think I don't do enough for him!

Suzy, dear, dear Suzy there is NO LIMIT on how many prayers anyone can have, because God is without limits.
We none of us do enough for Him, because we haven't got it in us, we just can't even begin to try. And the antidote to that is to "be still and know that He is God" and to know how much He has done for us. Because He loves us.

Ladies, could we pray for a lady on the 'Feeling Depressed' topic who has had a termination and is now struggling. She thought that she would be fine and didn't have any pre-abortion counselling as she felt that she was doing the right thing for the situation she was in. It seems that she may also have a bit of an infection now. I've referred her to her local CARE confidential centre for post-abortion counselling but feel that she could do with being lifted up to the Lord.

Could I ask for prayers for wisdom and protection today?

A friend and I are off to our local new age centre for lunch just to have a nose. We both feel that it's the right thing to do and if we get chatting with people then so much the better - it would be good to build bridges and open up some communication lines.

I've hd some great conversations with Wiccans etc in the past, so we'll just see what happens.

Alternatively we could just have a yummy veggie lunch, some cakes and go back home haveing kept our heads down - but I think a fact finding mission is in order - it has a huge influence on our local (v rural) community. Feel like the spies and the Promised Land - I've heard the muffins are enormous

ohhhh bm you are brave. Prayers for protection and good conversation. ss i witness so many women going through termination on the ward and wonder just how they will cope when reality hits.

I've got no windscreen wipers on my car needs a new wiper switch/arm have tried national breakers and they are extortianate (not a clue how to spell) prices. Ford garage are saying has to come from Ford factory which could take weeks. I'm knackered with out a car - can't get the kids to school, live a good mile from nearest superstore, or any shops actually, can't get to church etc etc. I know people cope every day without cars but I don't relish the thought of either praying for no rain or not being able to us e the car.

Prayers for dd 1 please she is very down at the minute, have done 2nd psycology appointment with her this morning so please pray that this helps. She feels she has no friends, no one likes her and yet at parents eve last night her form teacher was full of admiration for her. She is a lovely girl but she's always had this dark/sullen side to her.

I'm feeling much more positive just tired in afternoons. Date to go back to work is 7th March. looking foreward to it but feel like i've been off an eternity. well actually will be 9 weeks by time I go back.

I know you know this but it keeps bouncing around my head today.

Thank you for your prayers for work - seems like they were answered for the atmosphere was entirely different today and everyone is 'playing nicely' . Needless to say I'm on my own in the office atm otherwise wouldn't be here on mn!!! They can all se my computer screen so wouldn't get away with it!

STarting to look pg now. Normal clothes don't fit...little bump there too!! Praise God.

Hi all - had a fabulously delicious lunch - it really is a lovely cafe. Me and friend perused various interesting leaflets on various therapies, psychic workshops and how to contact your angels Then we had a quick look round the shop. Dd loved the fairies that were everywhere, but I think they were there because there seems to be a belief in fairies and sprites.

There were also a lot of books on spells, white witchcraft, meditation, yoga etc. I could have spent a lot longer having a really good nosey, but dd was jumping around picking up healing stones from a cauldron and books on reiki so I bought some lip balm and left

Me and my friend were just pondering what people with new age leanings would make of Christian healing or spiritual gifts etc. I would definitely go back (even if just for the lemon drizzle cake!) and hopefully talk a bit louder about prayer next time

My 9 month old dd is poorly at the moment and has been fevery for the last 3 days. Apparently it is a viral thing and will pass but as a 1st time mum I am still afraid.

My ds first got "properly" ill at about 9 months too - it was really scary at the time - I remember it well. Praying that your dd is back to normal and healed ASAP. Look after yourself too if you have to be up in the night to her.
