toto don't under-estimate the time it can take for that healing. I am only just about beginning to feel like progress is forwards on that from the job i left end of September. I had no idea how much damage it had caused until I had to start to unpick it. Glad you are at peace with the decision to go.

I am lucky as the garden is full of flowers this time of year: snowdrops, winter jasmine, hellabores. And that is before the daffs, narcisis and crocus even start to peer out of their hiding spots. what the darn squirrels haven't eaten during the winter There are so many plants to look into for bringing some colour and joy all year round that gardening is the gift that keeps giving.

Sorry you are unwell @TotoAnnihiliation I hope things get a little easier for you.

Wishing you recovery from your cold soon @queenrollo they are so energy zapping aren’t they !

Hope your son is ok @Hoolahoophop
Will light my 8am candle for everyone who needs relief from illness and tiredness.
Sending positive energy to you all.

AnotherCrazyBirdLady · 10/02/2022 09:53

Good morning everyone from a very cold Wales!
Thought the days are getting longer and brighter, a lot of us still seem to be bearing a lot of stress and responsibility. Whilst this can be true for any time of year, it seems to feel that much more difficult at the moment. I'm trying my best to summon positivity and hope and thinking outside the box. I have ordered a Tesla 'purple plate' to see if that helps, I have wanted to try one for the longest time and am looking forward to experimenting with it. And DS has bought himself a gorgeous obsidian pendant and says he feels lighter already.

I will send some solar energy over to this thread and anyone who needs it - bright days are in short supply at the moment!

Just popping in to say, hi. I have had a difficult week. I had a very bad reaction to prescription medication on Sunday, and a difficult trauma with a family member. The immediate trauma has eased and I am recovering, but stilll feeling very weak. I have lost several days, but can feel my energy starting to come back.
I will continue to take it easy, but have just had my first cup of coffee of the week, and about to take my first shower too- I have been too unwell to stand in the shower.
I am not back to being well, but feels so good to be moving in that direction. Woken up to a beautiful snow scene here.
Love to my sisters.

Oh our dear Speakout so sorry to hear what a difficult time you are having. I will light my 8pm candle especially for you. Rest well and I hope you soon feel much restored.

I'm still fighting this cold thing, which is sitting in my throat but has
now moved into the top of my lungs. In all honesty if one more person tells me to test for Covid and then tells me that 'well actually not all the tests are accurate' then I might scream.
I am not unsympathetic to those who are CEV (my own mother is!) or even just very anxious, but am just so tired now of the entire narrative around any illness being turned to 'it must be Covid'....and also the assumption that because I am 'alternative' that I am an anti-vaxxer/anti-restriction.
I wouldn't normally post about this topic in here as personally it is a subject I am avoiding online, but this impacting my energy very much.

AnotherCrazyBirdLady · 11/02/2022 08:36

Another 8pm candle will be lit for you here, Speakout, I hope today is a bit easier for youFlowers

TotoAnnihiliation · 11/02/2022 10:51

@speakout and @queenrollo - I hope you both start to feel better soon.

I've not been well since discovering that I'm pregnant. I spent all last night being very very sick. Now, I'm hungry and no food whatsoever appeals to me.

AnotherCrazyBirdLady · 11/02/2022 11:29

Oh no, @TotoAnnihiliation, you poor thing. Are you able to keep fluids down? I well remember the feeling - all I could stomach at one point was a fried eggHmm. You know your body better than anyone, so if you are worried at all, don't hesitate to contact your midwife. Gentle hugs, I hope you find something that appeals to eat.

TotoAnnihiliation · 11/02/2022 12:07

Thank you @AnotherCrazyBirdLady, I'm forcing fluids down. I wasn't this poorly with DD so the sickness as come as a huge surprise to me.

prettyteapotsplease · 11/02/2022 12:12

I'm sorry that some of you are not feeling good and hope that things improve. Do you believe that some people are just unlucky? I won't go into details but I've had a very bad decade. Is there anything you can recommend that I can do to make things better?

VioletCharlotte · 11/02/2022 18:04

Sending healing energy to everyone who needs it. I'm so sorry to hear so many of us are struggling at the moment with illness or emotional turmoil. I've had a difficult week too, DS is still very upset and down, and on top of that I've just found out my lovely boss (and good friend) has breast cancer which was a real shock.

Bits it's Friday and the sun was shining today. Let's hope things will start to look brighter for us all soon.

speakout · 13/02/2022 09:05

Sending love and healing to all my wonderful sisters, especially those going through challenges right now.
I am treating myself with compassion right now. I have more hurdles to face this week, but still focussing on healing. I am still feeling emotionally very raw and feeling with too great an intensity. Thank you for alll the kind words.
Carrying a big burden for too long is not sustainable, and when I am firing on all cylinders I will be looking for ways to change things.
VioletCharlotte I am sorry to hear about your friend, and I understand how hard it must be with your DS. I have similar troubles.

I know some of you do yoga or may be interested, but this short 10 minute youtube yoga video has reallly helped me recently. It is for people feeling overwhelmed or feeling distress, works on releasing a lot of the negative energy we hold in the spine and hips,
It is suitable for acomplete beginner, even if you have never tried yoga, or even if you have been practicing for years- nothing too demanding, but I found it very powerful, and left me feeling a lot easier and calm after just 10 minutes.

VioletCharlotte · 13/02/2022 21:19

Speakout thank you for the healing vibes, sending them right back to you. I'm so sorry you're having such a difficult time at the moment. I understand that feeling of raw emotional well. I'm glad you're treating yourself with compassion, very wise.

Thank you too for the yoga. My yoga teacher often talks about how trauma and emotion is held in the hips, I've often had found my weld in tears after hip opening practises, which have given me some needed release. I look forward to trying this one.

I'm heading to bed shortly. It's only just gone 9, but I'm looking forward to snuggling down with my book. Love to you all for the week ahead.

Flying past on the broomstick, sprinkling magic on everyone who needs some to get through this turbulent time.

I bought one of these yesterday, no idea how they work but the light from the candle flame twinkles through the whole glass container as soon as it's lit. Absolutely different to any other mercury glass candleholder.

Must be magic Halloween Smile

speakout · 15/02/2022 16:30

Thanks for that link Blanktimes, I popped into ALDI t today and bought one, looking foward to this evening to light it.
They are also half price- part of Valetine's da stock being sold off, so good to get a bargain.

Still a little fragile here, but things are healing slowly and balance will return.
Back to my first yoga class tomorrow, it's quite a gentle one and I won't be pushing myself too hard.
I have been doing Adriene on youtube the past few mornings, so hopefully be OK.

I also hope that tomorrow's full moon will bring release to everyone and we can all relax a little.

OP posts:
TotoAnnihiliation · 15/02/2022 21:19

@VioletCharlotte my yoga teacher often tells me the same thing about trauma being trapped in the hips. She has worked wonders with my body and mind. I'm looking forward to feeling well enough to have a regular practice.

Can I ask for a little bit of help? One of our cats has been missing since Saturday. Can I ask for some collective magic to help guide home? Also I will happily accept any practical tips. Thank you 🙏🏻

queenrollo · 16/02/2022 06:51

@TotoAnnihiliation I will light a candle to send energy to guide your cat home.
The only practical tip I can offer is that if your cats use a litter tray that you pop it (or some of it's contents) outside. Sometimes this scent can guide them back in if they have got confused.

speakout · 16/02/2022 07:14

TotoAnnihiliation I too will light a candle to help your cat come home. Have you posted on local Facebook pages/resue centres/locall vets?
Many missing cats have been found via facebook in my area ( including my own)

The wind is picking up briskly here as we head for a storm.
I have a yoga class this morning, wearing a lovely new t shirt from my local charity shop with a bold stag print- hopefully will bring me some energy.

Full moon blessings dear sisters.

Greetings sisters. I hope some of the continuing stresses begin to ease.

@TotoAnnihiliation so glad you have your union involved.

Covid wiped me out (despite three vaccines) and when I went back to school I had parents’ evenings which rather finished me off. It’s half term now thankfully so a little time to recharge.

I found a beautiful crystal shop yesterday run by a lovely lady and found a Celestite cluster which I’d been looking for. The lady in the shop says it’s great for meditation.

I can feel the next spoke of the wheel turning today. Spring is on its way.

HillsBesideTheSea · 16/02/2022 10:03

I felt it being sat on a hill with text books yesterday. It was just starting to go dark at half 5. The extra light was so restorative. The moon was so pretty last night. cloud softened. pinky skies. Full and bright.

TotoAnnihiliation · 16/02/2022 11:15

Thank you ladies. Yes, I have posted on Facebook, I've registered him missing with all the local vets and we've leafleted the neighbourhood. It's so heartbreaking. My poor husband is out searching every evening as well.

AnotherCrazyBirdLady · 16/02/2022 12:35

@TotoAnnihiliation, I too will light a candle to guide your DCat home.
I hope everyone is keeping safe with these storms approaching - it's already blowing a gale here.
Today's Full Leo moon is taking it out of me a bit! I'm just plodding along, saving my energy where I can, but just want to curl up and doze! But in honour of the big cat of the zodiac, I shall assert my place as Queen of my Jungle!

Stay safe, all.

speakout · 16/02/2022 12:35

Trenzalor

I am glad you are having time to rest.

Snow moon besslings sisters.

Good evening sisters. There's a storm brewing here, I've just taken the dog for his last walk and the wind's really getting up. The full moon's hiding behind the clouds, but I can feel her energy, it's a powerful one! @AnotherCrazyBirdLady I've gone the other way, I'm buzzing with energy! It's meant I've had a really productive day at work, but not sure if I'll sleep tonight 🤣

Toto I'm sorry to hear your cat has gone walk about, I do hope she turns up. I too will light a candle. I know with dogs, you're advised to put out clothing that you've worn so it had your scent on it, I've had a quick Google and it says this can help with cats too so may be worth a try.

Sending love and blessings to you all.

hilariousnamehere · 17/02/2022 03:03

Oh Toto I hope your cat comes home soon - can only imagine how sad and stressed you must all be. Lighting a 3am candle to add to the magic and hopefully guide her back.

Sorry I've been so quiet here - the big move for my Gran in with my Mum happened on Sunday after months of preparation, and of course yesterday I promptly started sniffling and sneezing. Like you queenrollo am frustrated with the assumption that it must be covid even though tests so far say it's not! Hope you're feeling brighter and you've had time to recover your energy - other people can be so wearing!

It's a strange old time at the moment, I've had a couple of unexpected cancellations and postponements, Gran's move is a big change and it's coming up to the fifth anniversary of losing Dad, plus I've not felt this under the weather for ages, so feeling a bit at sea about work and life and everything.

Maybe sleep will help?! Sending love to all of you and if you can get out to moonbathe, do - I popped out to get something from the car earlier and felt instantly better for standing quietly absorbing her light and energy. Much better when the streetlights have gone out, too Halloween Grin
