This morning I am grateful for my heart. It’s beating in my chest and I am alive. I am grateful for my hearing, it was freezing when I woke up but I have heating to keep me warm. I am grateful for the birds and chickens making noises outside my window, I love the sound of them moving around so freely.

Today is going to be a good day. I am going to achieve all my tasks set. I am going to be patient and I am going to be calm.

I'm grateful
That my dad has got his Vax letter through. He has leukemia and it's extremely vulnerable.
That my dd is coping with being stuck at home instead of being back at uni. Engineering is hard over zoom!
That we all remain healthy and safe even if a bit frazzled.

This thread slipped off my radar. Lovely to read everyone's posts and I just fell down an ebay hole of beautiful wedgewood teapots.

I am grateful for being at home with my lovely family.

And for our health.
I am grateful to be part of a family unit that supports each other and get on so well. I'm aware how precious that is right now and don't take it for granted.

During the cold weather this week I’ve been grateful that we can keep our home warm without worrying about our next energy bill. So many people aren’t this fortunate and I don’t want to take it for granted.

Absolutely, *Penguins". Not having a warm home doesn't bear thinking about at this time of year. I can't imagine what it must be like.

Today I was thankful for:

Shrove Tuesday, pancakes for dinner meant u didn't need to think up different cuisine for the kids I just let them eat syrup for dinner, everything in moderation.

Shrove Tuesday again, because to get syrup for dinner they had to do reading hour which is disguised as me setting an example but really guilt free reading in the day, so I am sort of technically lying for all the right reasons.

And Shrove Tuesday again, because Ash Wednesday is a perfect motivation to give up something nice but not that good for you without going all wheatgrass juice.
