Looking back over the thread to do a summary, there is so much to thank God for in the past month or so:
Bobsmum coming more or less unscathed through a car crash, with bean intact, Podglet's bean doing well in 'secret' and most of all Pepperpot's wonderful news. God is good, never doubt it.

Lots of large and small struggles:
CaptainCaveman, CaptainDippy, MaryBS, Mufti, NQGU, Roseylea, Zipadisuzy and probably quite a few others struggling with negative feelings, anxiety and feelings of being a 'bad mummy'. Praying that you will derive your self worth from your Heavenly Father Who knows 'how we are made' and loves us with an unfailing love.
Harrisey with decisions to make about future ministry
NSFN for wisdom regarding relationships.
QueenofQuotes - giving thanks for a better relationship.
Creambunnie for wisdom and strength in dealing with a difficult marriage.
PandaG for a new job that's just right

Praying with ChocolatePeanut for poorly mother and baby, giving thanks that the news so far is good.

And giving thanks with Dumbledoresgirl for the recovery of NASW/Losty, who is now PhoenixSoaring, how marvellous is that?

We keep praying for OnlyJoking and MummytoT&F, who are both still in very hard places.

MumtoGusnAlbie, MorticiasMother, NotanOtter and Shreksmissus, let us know how we can continue to pray for you. If I have forgotten to mention anybody, God never forgets and He loves you.
And everyone who has a look at this thread, we know that 'our help comes from Him Who has made heaven and earth, Who loved us before we were formed and Who never abandons what He has begun. Praise be to His Holy Name.

How are you Panda? REALLY hope you haven't come down with the tummy bug. DD2 had an explosive poo all over my hand this am!! (TMI!!) Hope she is ok - 'fraid I packed her off to nursery regardless as she was fine in herself - they will call me if she is not right. Morning!

DO - it was the local church where I grew up. I left the choir when I went to uni and never really got back into it. The church I joined when DS was born was a little one and didn't have a choir. I am currently looking for one more local to join...

CC - scan at 2.30pm - can't wait!

Mary - praying for more rest for you.

NSFN - good luck packing - where are you off too?

Roseylea · 23/10/2007 12:06

Hello all!

I'm reading and praying, as ever!

The day out was good yesterday, thanks, CD! I'm feeling much better today, which is good as we are having a dinner party tonight and I really should go and tidy up...!

Lots of love to everyone! xxx

CaptainDippy · 23/10/2007 12:14

ZipadiSuzy · 23/10/2007 13:10

CD - hia! I am around, although be it 'pondering' - Its half term, seem busier somehow! not getting homework done, house to tidy as dh birthday tomorrow, presents to get and cards to write, I am reading and praying with the thread, but not quite got enough time to reply. My finger on the mend, me thinks I should have had stitches though, I couldn't, I just couldn't!! yuk.

Prayers for you all on this glorious sunny half term week.

NorthernLurker · 23/10/2007 13:13

mufti · 23/10/2007 13:20

NorthernLurker · 23/10/2007 14:11

I've just seen a thread in the pregnancy section from Pepperpots - she is going for a scan in a couple of hours to see if the pregnancy is ectopic. I asked her if she wanted me to post here and she said yes and also said that her dh won't be able to get home in time to be with her. She is feeling scared and alone - please lets pray for strength for her, comfort for her dh as he is unable to get to her and most of all for a good outcome to the scan.

Roseylea · 23/10/2007 14:26

I'm praying for Pepperpots. Thanks for the info, NL. Let's pray for this little one.

And sorry Panda, I also meant to say a huuuuuuuuuuge congrats on your job! Fantastic!

(boast alert!!!) Yummmm...cooking smells are wafting through my house! I'm cooking lemon, garlic and herb roast chicken with balsamic roast veggies, honey, orange and mustard roast parsnips, sausagemeat stuffing wrapped in bacon, roast potatoes, cranberry sauce and homemade gravy, and this for pudding! Yummmmmmmmmmm! (It's dh's birthday so I'm going all-out to spoil him and make him feel a million dollars!)

podglet · 23/10/2007 15:00

Thanks NL - here is the link to Pepperpots' thread. here

Sounds divine Rosey - all round to you for dinner then...

Can we pray for my cousin please. She has embarked on an adventure - she is travelling overground to NZ. She has been through Riga, Moscow, Ulaan Batar and is now in China - she is familiar with Beijing as she taught here for a year but is now in the south of the country and over the past few days has been pickpocketd and yesterday was propositioned by an insistant taxi driver - she managed to push him off and kick him out - he had "helped" her with her bags to her room but is a little scared. Pray that God holds her safe and looks after her on her travels.

NorthernLurker · 23/10/2007 15:33

Oh good work with the link podglet - not very good at that sort of thing myself!
Will pray for your adventurous relation - and for those at home who are no doubt fretting a bit.

Notquitegrownup · 23/10/2007 19:15

Not good news from Pepperpots.

Continuing to pray for her and her dh.

God bless all.

CaptainCaveman · 24/10/2007 13:25

Hey guys, sneaking on whilst i'm at work (on my lunch break obviously!!).

Praying for you all, but could you please say a prayer for N, a mum at nursery who has been referred to hospital for investigations in to 2 breast lumps. She is scared and I've asked if we can pray for her - she said yes.
Also, at the Road to Maturity course last night I was talking to a lady from another church who is unable to work due to poor memory, and described what sounded like agrophobia, anxiety and general symptoms of depression. She is also a nurse and about mid 50s. I asked if she had been to her GP and she flatly refuses in case the gp laughs at her or tells her its normal for her age. I was able to share my experiences of my own mental health issues, and she said she knew she should get help but will NOT go to her gp, or any doctor. I also suggested God would not want her life to be like it is, to which she smiled and said "I know". Hmm. Please pray that she will find the courage to see her gp and receive treatment (if thats what she needs). Her name is S.

How are we today gang? Am doing great thanks be to God. Back is virtually better - i am immensely greatful for your prayers! Started taking folic acid - hee hee, how exciting!!!

pepperpots · 24/10/2007 14:00

Please can you pray to give me strength for tomorrow, there is still a tiny part of me thinks there is still hope.
Also i want give thanks for the two wonderful little boys that i have the pleasure to call mine

DutchOma · 24/10/2007 16:00

Good to hear from you Pepperpots. I'm sure we have all been praying for you and will continue to do so. What's tomorrow?
How old are your ds's?

OP posts:
MaryBS · 24/10/2007 16:52

pepperpots - lit a candle in church for you today. You are in my prayers...

CCM - praying for N and the other lady. God give them both strength and support in his loving care.

I told my boss yesterday about my AS. He was REALLY supportive and said to let him know when things are getting too much - that I should never be 100% stressed, 80-90% stressed is all he asks... . He is very understanding - he himself has a bad stutter and epilepsy. I told him that I felt vulnerable and that I just wanted to be normal - he said I am normal, just got something a bit different about me! I in my turn told him I'd never noticed his stutter .

DH went to the Drs today about back problems - the Dr told him he was fat and to lose some weight , I could have done that, maybe I could be a Dr . Praying he ACTS on the Dr's advice!
