Looking back over the thread to do a summary, there is so much to thank God for in the past month or so:
Bobsmum coming more or less unscathed through a car crash, with bean intact, Podglet's bean doing well in 'secret' and most of all Pepperpot's wonderful news. God is good, never doubt it.

Lots of large and small struggles:
CaptainCaveman, CaptainDippy, MaryBS, Mufti, NQGU, Roseylea, Zipadisuzy and probably quite a few others struggling with negative feelings, anxiety and feelings of being a 'bad mummy'. Praying that you will derive your self worth from your Heavenly Father Who knows 'how we are made' and loves us with an unfailing love.
Harrisey with decisions to make about future ministry
NSFN for wisdom regarding relationships.
QueenofQuotes - giving thanks for a better relationship.
Creambunnie for wisdom and strength in dealing with a difficult marriage.
PandaG for a new job that's just right

Praying with ChocolatePeanut for poorly mother and baby, giving thanks that the news so far is good.

And giving thanks with Dumbledoresgirl for the recovery of NASW/Losty, who is now PhoenixSoaring, how marvellous is that?

We keep praying for OnlyJoking and MummytoT&F, who are both still in very hard places.

MumtoGusnAlbie, MorticiasMother, NotanOtter and Shreksmissus, let us know how we can continue to pray for you. If I have forgotten to mention anybody, God never forgets and He loves you.
And everyone who has a look at this thread, we know that 'our help comes from Him Who has made heaven and earth, Who loved us before we were formed and Who never abandons what He has begun. Praise be to His Holy Name.

Lots of spare prayers here, PS! Fancy elaborating? Don't think you are unworthy or an idiot personally - you are incredible, coming through the other side of what have been through. Did I mention how good it was to have you back hon!!!? xx

Glad church was OK, Mary - fab stuff on the old eye contact bit - I never told you this; but when we met on the meet-up and I looked up to see you holding my little Phoebe, my heart melted - you looked so lovely standing there, cradling her and looking in to her tiny little face. Don't know why I feel the need to tell you that now, but I do. You are a wonderful, lovely woman, Mary. Believe it! @ Robbie's pic of the family - perhaps the lack of smile was not intentional, sweetie, children do all sorts of funny things - My DD1 has just drawn a pic of our family - DH has the biggest head in the entire universe and I have the biggest bottom / tummy! Little rotter!

nsfn - Sigh @ watermarks - It never rains, but it pours (not pun intended!) Praying it is nothing too serious and does not need to be sorted til you have a bit more cash. Loads of things have ben going wrong in our house recently and we've got no money to fix any of them - so frustrating. {{{hugs}}} Praying against the horrid depression sweetie - hang in there and keep posting .......

Oooooh, DO so pleased the concert was so good and about Hannah the driver! Well Done you for having the courage to invite her - praying for her lots ......

MaryBS · 21/10/2007 21:14

Hi CD, that's really lovely, thank you for sharing. Your DD is adorable though!

I asked Robbie about the pic. He said because you are unhappy mummy. I asked why he thought I was unhappy, he said "because of me"... if there was a "cry" smiley I'd use it...

Update on church situation. I went to a second service tonight. M. called earlier to check if I was going, DH told him yes, he thought so, so M said he's speak to me afterwards.

So we sat and had a LOOONG chat. Cleared up a lot of confusion, and made him realise that Aspergers wasn't something mild, but as someone put it "a life sentence". So, basically he and the children's workers want to be educated... The email he sent me was supposed to have been reassuring, to emphasise the commitment of the church to educating the young in faith - he thought I'd appreciate it!

Thanks to everyone for your support during this.

CaptainCaveman · 21/10/2007 21:55

Oh Mary that is fab news!! So so glad they are keen to be educated - how fab is God?!!

Hello everyone! Back still v sore and walking like an arthritic old goat, but I don't care because I'm just feeling so much of God's love at the moment. I really feel like I am growing as a Christian, particularly since joining this thread a year ago. I truly feel I can begin to rely on the Lord for all my needs and not be selfish and think I know best.
Would you join me in praying for guidance on when to stop taking my citalopram? Have cut down to 10 mg yesterday and no plans to rush it as I don't want to make myself ill.

God Bless ds, we were just saying our prayers in bed. I asked him what he wanted to say thank you to God for and he replied "You mummy. And the cat's fur"
okayyyyy. "ooh" i said "thats a good one, coz otherwise the cats would be cold"
ds: "yes and there would be blood everywhere and God would have to fix them. God, can you fix Malley first?" (our cats are Hobbes and Malley). The mind boggles....

CaptainDippy · 21/10/2007 23:24

Good stuff Mary - great that they want to be educated - fab!

Praying for you as you cut down the meds, CC - in prep for ttc - Whoooooo Hoooooo!

Right, of to bed now as am shattered .....

RoyKinnear · 22/10/2007 00:22

captain dippy you have the mosy beautiful family!
thoughts and prayers for you all and oj

NAO btw!

harrisey · 22/10/2007 05:41

Ladies I am sorry I've not been around much - term has begun in earnest and is eating up a lot of my energies right now - hardly have time to check my email.

I've read through the thread and am praying for you all!!! I do print it out every time it is renewed adn try to keep on top of it.

This week - could you pray for us as FIL is here till THurs (from last Fri). This is the second time in 7 years that he has visited us, only the 3rd time since dh (now 37) left home at the age of 18. He has some weird ideas about how families work! But we are delighted that he came, and he's really a great grandfather to our kids, when he can be bothered!

Also starting the essays this week!

And my Dad has his brother (who he doesnt get on with that well) staying with them this week so we have to visit them too ....... going to be a busy one.

Why am I up at twenty to six? Stress abou t all this? Probably!!!

harrisey · 22/10/2007 05:43

And Mary - thats good news from your church leadership about AS. My oldest younger brother has AS, and church was always a welcoming place for him when he was at home. Hope youcan find this for your ds.

DutchOma · 22/10/2007 08:25

Thank you al for your prayers. Just to set the record straight:- It wasn't me who invited Hannah, it was Sylvia our conductor, and she would routinely issue an invitation to whoever was driving the coach. I just asked Hannah as I got back on to the coach whether she had come and whether she had enjoyed it. That was all I did to get this fabulous reply.
Can you imagine NEVER having been in a church before? No carol service, no harvest festival at school? Or maybe she didn't count that? The mind boggles.
Glad you sorted things with your minister, Mary.
And prayers for CD and NSFN for essential money to turn up, God is good that way.
Prayers for Harrisey to cope with FIL, how is dh coping? With that and in general? Not heard much about that recently or have I missed it?
Must go, a friend is coming at nine to use the computer, she has been without a phone line for over a week, can you imagine? Her husband has Parkinson's and she has been without proper phone line for ten days and without any for the weekend.

Hello all! I've been reading and praying. So glad to hear that your vicar is suportive, Mary.

CCM so glad to hear that you are full of the love of God! and growing in your faith! Fab stuff - more of you, Lord! (as JOhn Wimber used to say!)

Pheonix may you truly soar.

Well I have a prayer request - I'm going out for the day with my mum and the dc, and I'm in sooooooooooooo much pain with my stomach. Please pray that it settles down and that we can have a lovely day out.

None of us is dressed yet and the dc are watching TV - oh I love half term!

MaryBS · 22/10/2007 08:57

God is fab
all the time
all the time
God is fab

Roseylea · 22/10/2007 09:23

amen!

Notquitegrownup · 22/10/2007 11:32

Amen Mary

Good morning all. Good to see you around NOA/RK

Half term so may not be around much this week. Praying and thinking of you all.

Rosey - did you ever get to any Wimber conferences? I went to a wonderful week in Sheffield in 1985. The teaching was just inspirational. I also went to Acts86 in Birmingham.

God bless all.

MarsLady · 22/10/2007 13:19

Dippy.... are you around? You've got mail!

PandaG · 22/10/2007 13:37

Hello all

Not been around all weekend due to SIL and her fiance visiting. We had a lovely weekend, weather perfect, so we did a couple of walks in the peaks, and celebrated their engagement and my new job with (even if I say so myself) good food and wine! DD has been asked to be a bridesmaid, and DS an usher with his dad, I am soooo excited - have to contain myself to next September though

Praying for you all.

Phoenix, will continue to pray for you.

Mary, so glad that you seem to have got things a bit more sorted with your vicar. Praying that everyone will be open to learning about AS in general, and DS in particular. Sorry I wasn't around the other night when you were so upset. Much love

Harrisey, paying that your FIL's visit will be a good time for you all.

CD, praying fro your peace during your Mum's visit too.

Not deliberately missing anyone out, am feeling pretty bleurgh today - think I may be going down with the stomach bug DH had on Friday...

bobsmum · 22/10/2007 14:44

Mad week this week - working 2 evenings and then our best man and his family are coming to stay for the weekend.

But!!! I had my scan on Friday and I saw my beautiful wriggly, bouncy baby

I'm a week further on than I thought, so now due April 25th

V v v v v v relieved and now "feel" pregnant and able to tell people.

CaptainCaveman · 22/10/2007 20:32

Awww, fab news bobsmum Thats fantastic!!

Panda I hope you're feeling better, praying you aren't coming down with a bug.

Praise praise praise be to God - my back is soooo much better. I was able to pick ds up today without being in pain. Also got a third of the ironing done (there's only so much ironing one can do!!). Thank you God!!

How's everyone else doing?

podglet · 22/10/2007 20:38

Hurrah Bobsmum - so glad all ok with little bean - roll on my scan on Thurs

Panda - hope the nasty bug stays away...

PS - continuing to pray for you.

Mary - so pleased they want to understand more about AS at church. It is such a difficult thing to understand. Praying for understanding all round.

CD - hey, hope things going ok.

DO - what a wonderful day for you all and your lovely driver. I used to sing in a choir and loved doing things like that.

Things a little calmer here. DP's dad is not silly and SIL spent last Christmas there, so am hoping she will be told she had her turn and it is ours this year. Not going to think about this any more.

Love and prayers to all

CaptainCaveman · 22/10/2007 20:50

Praying for you on thurs podglet - what time is your scan? How exciting!!

notsofarnow · 22/10/2007 21:08

Evening all. Soo much to do and soooo little time to do it. Just about managing to keep up. Haven't packed anything yet its in a huge pile not sure what to take. Now panicking because it looks like your hand luggage is counted as your complete luggage allowance - I thought it was 15kgs + your hand luggage.

love and prayers to all.

You ok cd?

DutchOma · 22/10/2007 21:18

Is your friend well enough to come with you NSFN?
Wonderful news about the scan BobsMum, I was just about going to search for you to see how you got on.
Best of luck Podglet with the scan on Thursday, hope you see a wriggly bean as well. Why are you not singing in a choir any more?

notsofarnow · 22/10/2007 21:37

Yes friend is well enough to come with us. Some days she's tired and somedays she looks pale. So hopefully the holiday is going to do her the world of good.

harrisey · 22/10/2007 22:24

bobsmum - so pleased to hear about your scan. We were in Aberfoyle at the weekend and so drove past your road end .. we wre thinking about you!

DO - did I not post about dh being so much better. His new antidepressants are working really well now - he has so much of his energy back, including in one important area that has kind of died a death, but no more

Life is so much easier with him generally functional.

Wiped out though by all the work - I am inundated with reading this week - seems to be a heavy week or all 4 of my courses so I am knackeroonied!

MaryBS · 22/10/2007 22:26

ok program your videos - Eggheads 12 November BBC2 6pm

I'm OK thanks, SM, still a little fragile, could do with a decent night's sleep, but SO thankful that I've not ruined a good friendship or jeopardised what I have at church. How are you? I've decided to tell work about it - I was going to do it today, but my boss wasn't in...

CCM - so glad your back is improving!!

NSFN - baggage allowances depend on airlines, they each specify different allowances. Glad your friend can make it, hoping and praying you all have a lovely time!

Glad things are calming down for you, podglet. Praying it continues

Harrisey, how was today with the FIL? Shame you couldn't get to church - I know God is with you wherever you are though - he shines out through you! {hugs}

CaptainDippy · 23/10/2007 08:36
