Looking back over the thread to do a summary, there is so much to thank God for in the past month or so:
Bobsmum coming more or less unscathed through a car crash, with bean intact, Podglet's bean doing well in 'secret' and most of all Pepperpot's wonderful news. God is good, never doubt it.

Lots of large and small struggles:
CaptainCaveman, CaptainDippy, MaryBS, Mufti, NQGU, Roseylea, Zipadisuzy and probably quite a few others struggling with negative feelings, anxiety and feelings of being a 'bad mummy'. Praying that you will derive your self worth from your Heavenly Father Who knows 'how we are made' and loves us with an unfailing love.
Harrisey with decisions to make about future ministry
NSFN for wisdom regarding relationships.
QueenofQuotes - giving thanks for a better relationship.
Creambunnie for wisdom and strength in dealing with a difficult marriage.
PandaG for a new job that's just right

Praying with ChocolatePeanut for poorly mother and baby, giving thanks that the news so far is good.

And giving thanks with Dumbledoresgirl for the recovery of NASW/Losty, who is now PhoenixSoaring, how marvellous is that?

We keep praying for OnlyJoking and MummytoT&F, who are both still in very hard places.

MumtoGusnAlbie, MorticiasMother, NotanOtter and Shreksmissus, let us know how we can continue to pray for you. If I have forgotten to mention anybody, God never forgets and He loves you.
And everyone who has a look at this thread, we know that 'our help comes from Him Who has made heaven and earth, Who loved us before we were formed and Who never abandons what He has begun. Praise be to His Holy Name.

MaryBS · 25/10/2007 21:01

I am so so pleased for you, when you didn't post I thought the worst! I went into church today and lit ANOTHER candle for you. If the place burns down, its your fault LOL GRIN SMIRK

pepperpots · 25/10/2007 21:05

Haha!
I promise i will take full responsibility and will decorate the place too [SMILE]

MaryBS · 25/10/2007 21:11

You're talking a 14th century grade 1 listed church here BTW... an architect recently estimated just to replace 1 of our stained glass windows would cost £1M.

Actually I DO worry about burning candles being left unattended...

[halo smiley for All Saints Day]

pepperpots · 25/10/2007 21:14

Just a tad over my budget!! How about some nice B&Q painting?? hehe

DutchOma · 25/10/2007 21:23

Oh Pepperpots how wonderful, made my day. I wondered how I could change the board back, but I managed it.
Thank you again for all the offers of little ones to look after, they're all lovely, but...

Or we could have a window "sponsored by Tesco", as in Ely Cathedral. I know its sponsored by tesco because the bleepity bleeps put it IN the window that it was!

harrisey · 25/10/2007 21:50

pp that is FABUKLOUS news! I am so happy for you. i've had 3 mc (as well as having 3 dc) and its devastating. SO glad things are going well.

Can I ask for prayer? Our college ( I am a 3rd yr theolgy student at [[www.icc.ac.uk International Christian College] in Glasgow are having our annual weekend away this weekend. Can you pray it goes well, that we all have fun and learn a lot, that all the practical stuff (lifts, food etc) go well. We're really looking forward to it!

harrisey · 25/10/2007 21:51

thats International Christian College

MaryBS · 25/10/2007 21:55

Oh and pepperpots, our church tower is in the style of a pepperpot, and our church magazine is called "The Pepperpot"!

I feel I should go to church tomorrow and light a candle (or two) in thanksgiving... our vicar's away at the moment, do you think when he gets back he'll wonder where all the candles have gone? GRIN SMIRK CHORTLE

MaryBS · 26/10/2007 07:50

Smileys are back to normal again

Praying you all have a good day today, especially DO, who's lovely

MarsLady · 26/10/2007 09:16

Morning ladies

I'm in need again. I have a client that I really need to give birth (if she hasn't already) this weekend. Then I can go on my holiday and stop for a week. I really need to stop and rest for a while but I know I'll worry about her the whole time (I'm just doing the post birth). It's a small thing to ask for but I ask it anyway.

Hope you are all keeping well and that God is blessing your richly.

Now... I'm off again! Thank you!!

MarsLady · 26/10/2007 09:18

Oh I forgot my word of praise.

My last three ladies had "silent labours" with really easy births. I'm convinced it was your prayers that they come in an orderly fashion. I may just keep bringing my births here for you to pray about with me. So in short............. a shout of praise

PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TheQueenOfQuotes · 26/10/2007 09:44

yay the smilies are indeed back to normal.

Prayers for everyone.

I'm off down to Bristol with DH and the DS's to see my lovely granddad again (who's still hanging on in there). Apart from me - the DS's and DH are the only family he hasn't seen recently and we think he's hanging on until he's seen his newest great-grandson. My mum reckons that he's "ready to go" - but doesn't want to until he's seen DS3 (I just hope he doesn't decided to go the day after we get back - Sunday - or I'll feel awful for speeding things up).

DutchOma · 26/10/2007 10:34

You shouldn't feel awful even if that happens, QoQ. It happened to me when a dear friend who was more of a grandmother to our children than their proper grandmothers was dying.
I had been to see her every day, for three months, then one day I hadn't been and got 'phoned by the home that it might be a good idea if I came, no hurry. So I quickly cooked a meal for my husband and got to the home where she was cared for and she died in my arms five minutes later. That was beautiful. I've heard so many stories of people 'hanging on' for something or another and I really think it is a case of "Lord, now lettest Thou Thy servant..."
Have a good trip.

Morning - Thank goodness the smileys are back to normal and I managed to get "Classic MN" back too - I don't like change, sad old cow I am!!

Yey for your scan Podglet glad all was well and Bean was happily waving and wiggling. As the proud owner of two girls with an 14 months gap between them, I can tell you that you won't regret it - 2.5 yrs on nd my girls are bestest friends and I am so glad I went for such a small age gap - It is bloody, sheer hard work; but worth it! There's 23 months between DD2 and 3 as well - so 3 under 4 - Good fu!!

Praise God for Pepperpots' good results Praying that the scan date will come through asap and her little Bean will be wriggling away happily for her. [smile xxxxx

Praying that your w/e away goes well, harrisey. xx

Noooooooooooo, P is awake and I have still got soooooo much to doooooooo.

CaptainDippy · 26/10/2007 10:53

Oh, DO, that is beautiful. xx

ZipadiSuzy · 26/10/2007 14:06

CD - ok, from one sad old cow to another!

Thanks for the tips on classic MN! yeh I'm learning - not soooooo computer illiterate!

Pepperpots - I am sooooooo thrilled with your GOOD NEWS - CONGRATULATIONS (smile)

I've just come back from the doctors re: my HRT, she has put me on a higher doseage (yikes) as long as the chest hair doesn't grow anymore - oh well 28 years down 4 more to go till I can stop taking the damn things!

I thank God for them, even though they get a bad press. More beneficial to take them than not for me personally.

Well happy days, sore throat and tired, now I'm going to work for a rest!!!!!

ZipadiSuzy · 26/10/2007 14:12

We took care of my FIL at his house (across the road) and he waited till every member of the family was in the room 15 of us, and I also held him as he died, was really sad but beautiful! we had been prepared by Marie Curie how he would die, it was very comforting.

I pray with everyone on here for your family QofQ

MaryBS · 26/10/2007 19:04

Well, I lit a candle for Pepperpots, and a candle for Andrew this morning, and the church is still standing, so I guess a visit to B&Q isn't needed

How is everyone this evening? It's a little quiet...

CaptainCaveman · 26/10/2007 19:56

Hmmm, you go away for a couple of days and the whole world changes! Well, mn anyway...

Been to dh's grandads funeral today, it was really truly a lovely lovely service.

Hope you are all ok? I am grand

CaptainDippy · 27/10/2007 10:41

Glad the service was lovely CC I am ok today - we have friends coing down with their 14m old DS who we have never met!!!!!! In turn, they have never met DD's 2 & 3 and the last time they saw DD1 was probably when she was about 10m, so it will be nice to see them & catch up. Think we will head to the Mini Railway if the weather holds.

Hoepy ou all have lovely days.
