Looking back over the thread to do a summary, there is so much to thank God for in the past month or so:
Bobsmum coming more or less unscathed through a car crash, with bean intact, Podglet's bean doing well in 'secret' and most of all Pepperpot's wonderful news. God is good, never doubt it.

Lots of large and small struggles:
CaptainCaveman, CaptainDippy, MaryBS, Mufti, NQGU, Roseylea, Zipadisuzy and probably quite a few others struggling with negative feelings, anxiety and feelings of being a 'bad mummy'. Praying that you will derive your self worth from your Heavenly Father Who knows 'how we are made' and loves us with an unfailing love.
Harrisey with decisions to make about future ministry
NSFN for wisdom regarding relationships.
QueenofQuotes - giving thanks for a better relationship.
Creambunnie for wisdom and strength in dealing with a difficult marriage.
PandaG for a new job that's just right

Praying with ChocolatePeanut for poorly mother and baby, giving thanks that the news so far is good.

And giving thanks with Dumbledoresgirl for the recovery of NASW/Losty, who is now PhoenixSoaring, how marvellous is that?

We keep praying for OnlyJoking and MummytoT&F, who are both still in very hard places.

MumtoGusnAlbie, MorticiasMother, NotanOtter and Shreksmissus, let us know how we can continue to pray for you. If I have forgotten to mention anybody, God never forgets and He loves you.
And everyone who has a look at this thread, we know that 'our help comes from Him Who has made heaven and earth, Who loved us before we were formed and Who never abandons what He has begun. Praise be to His Holy Name.

LOL at Sooz - glad finger is on the mend (not going to comment on DH's birthday, fear I may be vulgar...)

Oh DO - I still have these moments with my mum. I am sure DD will come round soon. No words of wisdom either I'm afraid but have a big hug. You are lovely

Scan went very well little bean was dancing away and waving, it was fab! Moved me forward a day so now due 2nd May 08! Have now told most of family and friends, most are a little as there will only be an 18 month gap...

Hurrah!

DutchOma · 25/10/2007 16:35

TheQueenOfQuotes · 25/10/2007 18:17

Please tell me I'm not the only one on this thread that's uncomfortable with the "enforced" use of Halloween smilies???

MaryBS · 25/10/2007 19:50

I haven't seen that many of them yet... are they automatic, or do you have to do something to "get" them, like the Christmas ones?

TheQueenOfQuotes · 25/10/2007 19:55

if you push F5 you'll be able to see them. They're all over the place and I'm really not comfortable with it. So I shall be taking a break to Babyworld (and Facebook) until 1st November (when HQ has assured me they'll be gone as apprently there's no way of having an option not to use them) (that's the only one that doesn't show up with a halloween hate on

SatanGeorge · 25/10/2007 20:02

Oh QoQ, it is a bit of fun. You do realise real witches don't wear those ridiculous things don't you?

I don't celebrate Christmas but I was quite happy to join in the fun of little Santa hats last year.

Please, loosen up a bit.

ZipadiSuzy · 25/10/2007 20:13

ZipadiSuzy · 25/10/2007 20:14

mufti · 25/10/2007 20:19

i , rather foolishly hit the f5 key, and an now stuck with them

i am very unhappy about this ,and asked mnhq if i could get them back to normal, and was told , not till afterwards
i did make the point that i am extremly anti halloween, really its getting worse, you cant ge away from it, and some of the things in shop windows are just nasty.
it seems , to have got worse every year now.

ZipadiSuzy · 25/10/2007 20:19

The mumsnet threads have changed again! I can't read the last few without posting?????????????? Is it just me????????? der!!!!

TheQueenOfQuotes · 25/10/2007 20:22

mufti - I'm glad it's not just me that doesn't like it. If others want to use them I have no problem with it - it's their choice at the end of the day, but I feel like I have no choice in the matter (which I don't). I can't use smilies now as I don't want to be using halloween ones (well apart from that one which remains unaffected).

mufti · 25/10/2007 20:22

ps, hugs to lovely DO, have a 16m ds available for hugs and cuddles, if you dont mind your day starting before 6 am!

MaryBS · 25/10/2007 20:24

I'm another one who hit the f5 key and now can't get rid of them. I actually think its funny you and I mufti have done this LOL. We'll have to restrict ourselves to verbal smileys!

Sooz, if you go into "customize talk board" and change it back to classic, it'll be how it was. That's what I've done

mufti · 25/10/2007 20:24

i know QOQ, it does feel forced

and mn is very strange tonight too

MaryBS · 25/10/2007 20:26

Oh and DO, you ARE LOVELY!!! Truly scrumptious, or even diddlyumptious.

I've come to the conclusion mothers and daughters are only meant to have each other in small doses when the daughter has grown up. Please try not to take it personally. You're welcome to come here and look after my 2, or I'm sure CD would welcome a hand... LOL

mufti · 25/10/2007 20:26

served me right MARY, read a thread about emoticons saying press f5, couldnt resist, i can understand it activating them, but all the previous ones?

bit libellious, especially CD as she does loads, and they look awful now

ZipadiSuzy · 25/10/2007 20:30

Think I have to scroll down to bottom again, roar, why can't they leave things alone, us computer illiterate people!!!!! or is it just me, AGAIN!

Sorry but I'm not going to enter into halloween debate, but I do respect other peoples wishes, values and beliefs, I don't let it bother me. I do enjoy seeing the kiddies JUST having a good time, its their choice, who am I to judge them, and as for these they could be any old hat with just a feathers on the top?????

I do believe I just entered into the debate
[SMILE] there is that better????

Happy Days

TheQueenOfQuotes · 25/10/2007 20:32

I don't want a Halloween debate either (we have them every year and every year after about 100000000 threads on the topic we agree to disagree - and they're all the same every year too with the same quotes and references to other pages). But I DO want a choice (other than use smilies or don't use smilies).

mufti · 25/10/2007 20:33

suzy, just go into customizes talk board, and pick the other option, i think it says latest first

TheQueenOfQuotes · 25/10/2007 20:42

Tech has just posted on my other thread to say that "ooops he's just been reminded that a Christmas they had a "with or without" option and the same will be done for these ones :-)

(don't know whether that means that all of old ones that are currently Halloween with go back to old or not but at least I won't have to go and use Babyworld for nearly a week LOL)

mufti · 25/10/2007 20:43

hurrah and pepperpots has just posted on other thread - still pg!

praise GOD

SMILE SMILE SMILE

pepperpots · 25/10/2007 20:45
