Elderly ddog is looking perkier after a few off days.

Online clothes order of summer shoes and a dress was accidentally duplicated by the store- I’ve contacted them about returning them but they have said I can keep them. It’s a good job they’re “ never knowingly under sold”. I’m going to give the shoes to my dsis when I eventually see her.

Neighbour gave us some home grown tomatoes - delicious! Made even nicer with the kindness behind the gift.

I am grateful that dh fixed our outside tap yesterday. We can now water plants, animals and dc without carrying a watering can through the house!

Ddil settling in to the hospital quite well and accepting that it is the best place for her just now.

Today I am grateful that my DS15 had a good first day back at school, and doesn't seem too fazed by how that is going to be for now.

For time spent with 2 of my 4 lovely little nieces.

That my family and friends remain healthy.

For this thread, for giving me perspective and focus.

@Lessstressedhemum Thanks for this thread. You've been through a lot this year and your consistently positive attitude and pleasure in the little things is a valuable lesson to me.

Welcome @Vavavoovoom- this thread has been like a little shining light at times for me.

Today I’m feeling grateful and blessed that a family member has positive results following investigations at the hospital.

I’m feeling grateful that I was given the strength to do something today I didn’t want to do but needed to.

Grateful that my seriously ill colleague is still with us (as far as I know at this time) and praying that he remains stable/improves overnight. 🙏

My colleague/friend who lets me rant and moan and humours me well.

My boss who seems to appreciate the extra work that above colleague and I have to do these days.

The Chase and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Two of the only things DS occasionally watches with me by complete choice. We just get to chat about all sorts, and I learn just how much he has learned that I never knew he had. If that makes sense!
